Silver Court

We became very close to the staff and fond of many residents too. Saying goodbye to them has been one of the hardest parts. I will miss them all dearly.

I am so pleased delighted that I chose Silvercourt for my Dad. He has settled so well, I actually wish I had got him in earlier - the all the staff are amazing and caring. The food is great - for him to sit and eat with other friendly people has been really beneficial for him as he'd been on his own a long time. He is always smart, and really well looked after . I can't thank the staff enough for creating such a homely friendly environment. The entertainment I would say is top class. All the singers I've watched have bought tears to my eyes, watching the residents sing a long and smiling is just the best. So heart warming. The care is first class, the whole team have been wonderful. Including the manager - fantastic communication, getting him through the door at the beginning was Clair who walked me through everything with compassion and care. The maintenance guy Paul was amazing helping putting up dad's pictures and making his room like his own and was there to help with everything.

This is a wonderful home, with caring staff and a highly effective team liaising between all the different health agencies and myself and my family. They are wonderful at forming relationships with residents and family members. Their care and management of my mother when she returned after a long stay in hospital was exemplory. It is a great relief to know that Mum is so well looked after.

My mother has been a resident at Silver Court since November 2024. Due to her dementia, she was very resistant to change and leaving her own home so the first few months were extremely trying. However, due to the care and patience of the entire team at Silver Court, Mum has never been happier and now refers to all of the staff as her best friends and continually tells me how she loves them all and how kind they are.

Mums health has deteriorated since moving to Silver Court due to her dementia and the team have managed it with such professionalism. They have helped me understand the different stages and ensured that mums safety is the number one priority including extra reviews with the GP, walking frame assessments, changes to her room set up to prevent falling out of bed and so much more.

It is fun to get involved in the activities & coffee mornings which always involve music & very often some dancing too!

I would recommend Silver Court to anyone looking for a care home.

Towards the end of Mum's life, the staff were truly exceptional. They supported my sister and me so thoughtfully, and were so kind and gentle with Mum. It became a very special time, despite the sadness. The last week before she passed was especially precious, as we were able to stay overnight with her and share some deeply meaningful moments together.I am so grateful to Silver Court and all the staff who made Mum's final years so supported and dignified.

My mother has been really well cared for by the friendly, attentive people working in Silver Court. She was discharged from hospital with more nursing needs than any of us expected and all the staff there have done their very best to look after her and provide her with great company. She is so much happier there than in hospital and I'm relieved that she's being so well cared for and showing improved health.

The varied entertainment and activities provided is fantastic.

My sister and I would like to say 'thank you' to all the staff at Silver Court for their understanding, compassion and kindness shown towards our mum when she started her residency at Silver Court in November. It was a big change for her and our family and mum is settling into her new environment well. We feel this has been achieved because of the above support given to her. Silver Court provides a caring place with weekly events which mum can choose to get involved with as and when she wants to. We, as a family, feel supported by the staff too.

If I could give Silver Court ten stars I would. I recommend this care home for anyone struggling to live safely on their own.

My experience with Silver Court has always been a positive one. The management and team do an excellent job and I always feel that my mum is in comfortable and safe hands. Living over 100 miles away from the home I find that the social media sites and newsletter work well in keeping me up to date with what's happening and what's new, these communication platforms work very well. Overall I am extremely happy with the service and level of care we received!

I can't thank you enough for all of the care and attention that you show my cousin in your care home. She does not have any close relatives nearby so she regards your staff as her 'new family' and your residents as her 'new friends'. Personally, I am so thankful to the administration team for the constant monitoring of her medical needs, arrangements to see doctors, accompanying visits to hospitals when needed and attention to personal hygiene. What a team! Her family can rest assured that she is receiving the best possible care. Thank you so much.

My husband can e very challenging at times but he is always treated with dignity and respect, care and kindness.

The team at Silver Court continue to be the most understanding, hard working, caring and utterly incredible team that I have seen. I feel so lucky and privileged to have their support for my mum, and every day, I feel confident that my mum is cared for with genuine love. Nothing is ever too much trouble, everyone goes out of their way to make my mum feel happy, calm and safe. It is quite incredible and I can't thank every single person enough, for the tireless work they do. You are all so, so appreciated by me and my sister and brother. The staff and management are always very helpful and caring. My friend always looks clean and tidy. He also looks content in the home.

My mum spent 4/5 months at Silver Court. We are so grateful to the staff. They are all so lovely, welcoming and caring. My mum was very happy at Silver Court and we know she was well looked after. We would totally recommend this care home.

My mother-in-law was living here for a few years before she passed away. The care was second to none. They looked after her so well, she was able to continue to enjoy all the things she did before she became unwell, her music and mostly having fun. Thank you.
