Silver Court in East Grinstead is situated close to the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The home provides residential and dementia care for up to 42 residents in homely and comfortable single ensuite rooms. Silver Court continues to welcome new residents.

Silver Court is a Veteran Friendly Framework accredited care home. The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans which ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Dementia care is available and staff receives on-going training to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

The staff works hard to get to know its customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service provided are at the highest level.

The home and its staff have been excellent during the extreme challenges of Covid. They have endeavoured to keep visits open in line with guidance whilst also keeping infections within the home to a very low level. They have also been very attentive and encouraging in welcoming our mother back from
the hospital.

My friend has been a resident at Silver Court for almost 6-years now, and the care that she has been provided is excellent. The staff/carers are wonderful and really care about the residents and their well-being. My friend is happy and always treated with dignity and respect. The home is very well maintained,
the food is great, and the activities that are provided for the residents help to keep them engaged and motivated.
The administration staff in the offices are also very caring and helpful. Throughout the pandemic, everyone at Silver Court has done a brilliant job keeping the residents safe, despite very difficult circumstances. They did their best to allow visits with the residents as soon as possible and recognize how important it is for the residents to be able to see their loved ones. I could not recommend Silver Court more highly.

My mother has lived there now for about 5-years, and before Covid, we would visit mother very often and take her out in her wheelchair to enjoy the fresh air. The staff are amazing, and even now, during this Covid situation, we can still visit mother every week.
We are very happy with the levels of
care my mother receives, and we would most definitely recommend this care home. It’s not just the care staff; it’s also the staff who work in the offices too. Mother is in the best care home, and she is very happy there.

Silver Court cared for my mother for the last 18-months of her life. She had severe dementia, and it was a great relief for her to be able to reside at this care home. All staff my wife and I came into contact with were friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They involved my mother in activities
and always maintained her good standard of dress and cleanliness.


We appreciate that they have a demanding job, not least during Covid times, and they coped remarkably. We felt that we were informed about her care, and they adapted to facilitate visits online and in person.


The team all seemed to have good morale and were motivated. There was good continuity of staff, and they took to time to get to know my mother in order to meet her individual needs.

It is a great comfort to know that our mum is in such good hands. I am in South Africa and have sadly not been able to visit her, and even post is unreliable. I am blessed that my sister lives down the road, but even she would not be able to look after our very special mum in the same way that the staff
at Silver Court do. It has been of great comfort to know that in her confused and distressed moments, Mum is shown such patience, love and kindness. I am very grateful to all of the staff, especially knowing how difficult things have been during Covid.

I am very happy with the way the staff take care of my mother. The home is updated regularly and kept clean. The food is a good standard with a varied choice of menu. During the pandemic, the staff have done everything possible to keep the residents safe and happy. The team appear to have a good relationship
with each other, which creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere, all positive vibes for the residents.

My father in law moved in from December 2020, during a very sad time in our family and so many different changes to his life. The staff at Silver Court were able to help my father in law to cope and come to terms with everything. They are very professional in dealing with how to communicate with him
and aid his needs at all times. The team have very quickly sorted out a couple of medical issues and kept us informed along the way. The staff have also helped my father in law with encouragement to keep up his walking, especially in the lovely garden that he enjoys so much and looking forward to seeing it in all seasons. The home has done so very well with Cov-19 and have kept a very good activity time for all residents due to sadly lockdown and isolating moments that my father in law has had to go through after a medical trip to hospital. Newsletters are always sent out and pleased to say Cov-19 jabs have been done. I would recommend this home to anyone who has a family member like us.

My friend, a 93-year-old lady suffering from Vascular Dementia was admitted to Silver Court in mid-April this year. Not the best of times with the ongoing Covid19 situation. The staff welcomed her and are caring for her, having kept in touch with her by telephone she has told me how happy she is which
is excellent to hear.
All the staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and informed regarding my friend and my wife and I feel very pleased knowing that she is safe and well cared for.

The support Mum received on arriving was amazing - the staff are wonderfully kind, and it was no trouble for them to stay with Mum to make sure she settled in well in her new home. My sisters and I are truly grateful for the amazing care you provide for our Mum, respectively treating mum as an individual
and always encouraging Mum to take part in the organised activities. The rooms and communal space are always kept clean and smell fresh. Silver Court is an exceptionally comfortable, warm, and homely home, with the most exceptional management and team members. The beautiful gardens are freely available during the day for Mum to take a walk. We cannot thank Silver Court enough for how they care for our Mum - constant communication and updates - just fantastic - thank you all so much!

Dad is 96, has a poor memory and spent months in hospital following a fall and several infections. It has been a delight and a huge relief in the last few months to see him so comfortably settled and cared for at Silver Court. Staff always keep me fully informed and, most important of all, are kind,
both to him and to me. In these difficult days, it is a real comfort to know that he is safe and content. I cannot comment on the home physically as, due to the covid situation, I have never been inside. Dad says it is “lovely”.

During these strange Covid times, it is good to see that my step-father is well looked after. Yes, there are always ways to improve things but I am really impressed with the care the staff provide. The management listens and reacts quickly to any concerns raised.

The care has been exemplary. Against all the odds with this current government, which demonises care homes and care workers, the staff have kept their pride and dignity and cared for my mother in a respectful and wonderful way. They are incredible people and if there was any justice still in this country,
they would be on three times their salaries. My Mum has felt safe and happy at all times.

My sister has resided at Silver Court for four years. Widowed in 1996, she had lived alone with no professional care support. My weekly visits have always found her in good spirits, calm and content in her surroundings. Her demeanour can only reflect the consistency and dedication of management, care
leaders and team at Silver Court, always on hand to immediately respond to my sisters needs with dignity and respect, readily answer, or seek answers, to any requests or queries we have and, at the same time, keeping all the residents happy and entertained in the most ingenious ways in a safe and happy environment. My mother has been living at Silver Court for two and a half years now and on moving in, was able to choose the home for herself, having looked at other homes. The immediate impression was one of a lovely fresh and clean smell, being welcomed by friendly staff and a light and airy home that is all on
the ground floor. Two and a half years later, that first impression hasn't changed and as a family, we feel reassured that Mum is being well cared for in a safe and comfortable environment. We particularly appreciate the strong and stable management of the home which has kept mum safe through the current difficult times.
