What a lovely care home. My mum has been at Glendale since February and has settled in very well. It is nice to know that when all family member's leave. We are happy + that mum is in capable hands of the staff. Mum loves the activities and has made some nice things so she can keep in her room. The
rooms are lovely and kept very clean and what I like is the windows are opened every day for some fresh air.

My husband went into The Beeches in November 2025 from a previous care home facility which he had only been in a couple months it was a very traumatic time for us as a family trying to find alternative care. Beeches was very understanding regarding previous issues we had faced and we were assured that
the transition for my husband would be made as easy as it possibly could. Staff were very welcoming and management very reassuring on our visit, any concerns we have come across have been dealt with by staff or management. On the whole we are pleased with the care my husband is receiving.

Glendale provides a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for my Mother who suffers from dementia as well as other ailments. Since moving into Glendale in February I feel as if I have got my old Mum back, she is happy, talkative and comfortable. Whereas when she received care in her home she was
isolated and rapidly declining. At home she was prone to falls and erratic behaviour. Since Feb she has had not one fall. I think this is down to her new safe environment. She has regular nourishing meals, timely medication and regular interaction with others. We all find it difficult when the time comes to choose a care home. We, including my Mum, have no regrets at all. I am now happy that my Mum's final years will be as good as they can be with her new friends in Glendale.

Limegrove Care Home is literally home. From our first day there we were met by friendly faces and calm reassuring help. Everyone introduced themselves and explained their role. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure residents are happy and comfortable. The food is delicious and plentiful with
lots of choice. The rooms and en-suites are clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are small but adequate. This is only the first week here but my friend already feels this is her home and I am so happy and relieved.

When my sister in law first went to Linwood she was obviously confused and withdrawn. The staff showed her great patience and understanding toward her, she is now much happier. She now interacts with the staff and they genuinely care for her. As a family we realise that this was the best course of action
for her and we are so grateful for the love and care she receives at Linwood.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum passed away peacefully this week at Thameside having been a resident there for 15 months. It was the best decision we ever made for her to move there. She was incredibly well cared for and not just in a practical sense, the staff seemed to genuinely care for her. The last week with her was incredibly
moving.Throughout the staff not only cared for my mum with love and compassion, they also cared for me and my son. They have become family and we will miss them terribly. When a parent has dementia, especially if you live a distance from each other as we did before my mum moved to Thameside, you can start to view them as a problem to be solved and not see the person. Knowing how amazingly well she was being cared for meant I could let go of the responsibility of solving her daily care needs and focus on our relationship and just simply enjoy her company for the first time in ages.We will be forever grateful to the staff for enabling us to do that.

Ridgemount is truly a warm, vibrant, and compassionate care home. Every time I visit, I'm struck by how welcoming and uplifting the atmosphere feels. The staff are kind, attentive, and always happy to genuinely help visitors. When I visit they always acknowledge and welcome me and offer me a cup of
tea. You feel so relaxed and comfortable in the home. You feel a sense of togetherness when you meet everyone. Finally, they have the most incredible summer bbqs and fetes. I am looking forward to seeing what they have coming up for the residents this year's summer events to bring my family along.

Ridgemount has exceeded our expectations. The care and consideration and respect that's shown to my father is very good. He feels happy and safe and is content to be there. This gives my mother and our family a lot of comfort. Eve, the manager, is excellent, always approachable and helpful with any

Limegrove

from C H (Daughter of Resident) published on 1 April 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum recently moved to Limegrove and we have been blown away by the quality of care, kindness and attention to detail that she has been given. Mum is 94, has Alzheimer's and very poor mobility. All the staff understood Mum's needs from the moment she arrived and she has settled in incredibly quickly.
There is very much a family feel and everyone is so kind, thoughtful and attentive. The quality and choice of food is excellent and Mum has her own tailored meals resulting in her having food she loves and a much more balanced diet. Limegrove is well designed and its 'fit for purpose' infrastructure is very clean and well maintained. I don't normally write reviews but it has been such a relief for us to have our mum looked after in such a lovely place. After visiting several care homes locally, Limegrove was definitely the right choice for us.

Hello, I rarely write reviews but believe in credit where credit is due and felt it only right to share my experiences at Moore Place, Esher. My 89 yr old mum has been there for nearly 4 years now and sadly now has dementia and mobility problems. This has been tricky for me to adjust to but the staff
at Moore Place have really helped the process for both my mum and myself. Whether it has been Jemma or Linda on reception, or Claire and Rahul looking after mum, or Sarah who works tirelessly at organising events and outings, they all do their bit to help get mum from her room to reception, so I can get mum out for a drive. When I arrive back, there is always someone ready to take mum back to her floor and make her a cup of tea, all of which is really appreciated. Chelsea (the home manager) has done a great job of bringing the team together and keep the staff motivated. Thank you to you all. Best regards

My wife went into Moore Place for one week. From the start staff making the arrangements were excellent - very flexible over dates, choice of room etc. she was warmly and efficiently welcomed and her room was well equipped, clean and modern.
She is severely movement- restricted and was able to operate
easily throughout the home. Meals were high standard, snacks always available, but the key point was the consistently warm, friendly and helpful environment, made so by the excellent staff and main room. A very good experience.

I would just like to say how impressed my family were with the thoughtful and proactive way Oak Lodge management dealt with a change of routine, which had unsettled our mother. Once the reasons for the move had been explained, it became obvious it had been made in mother's best interests, and we were
filled with admiration by the Lodge's swift adjustment of the plan to reassure her while still ensuring the safest outcome for her. The new setup meant everyone was happy. Thank you not just for listening but for taking action so promptly.
