West Hall

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father has been living at West Hall for over six years and is completely dependent on the staff for all his needs. His carers have taken time and trouble to understand his needs and preferences, and even though he is immobile and non-verbal, they ensure he takes part in activities and events. The
team have also helped and supported me in applying for funding. Excellent.

I hadn't seen my cousin in some years and recently visited her at Linwood for the first time. Looked so much better than the last time I saw her. She was well dressed, happy and settled. She has a lovely relationship with staff, who looked after her very well. The home is clean, well cared for and food
looked good. The manager welcomed me, showed me around and it was clear how well managed the home was.

Thameside

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother was a resident at Thameside for just over a year before she passed away peacefully in October 2025. During her time there, she was wonderfully cared for and truly happy. The kindness, compassion, and warmth shown by every member of the Thameside team was remarkable. The home always had a cheerful,
positive atmosphere - such a credit to the management team, whose professionalism and empathy clearly shine through in their staff. I was especially touched by the exceptional care my mother received in her final days. She was treated with such dignity, respect, and genuine affection. My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Thameside for the outstanding care and kindness you gave her and for the comfort you brought my wife and I.

Thameside

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother-in-law lived at Thameside for over a year until she passed away peacefully in her sleep in late September. We honestly couldn't have wished for better care. The whole atmosphere at Thameside is warm, joyful, and truly focused on making residents feel special. There's a real sense of happiness
throughout the home. Each day is thoughtfully structured - with morning and afternoon activities, mealtimes accompanied by music, the treats trolley making its rounds, and relaxed time spent with others in the lounges. This made a huge difference for my mother-in-law, who had lived alone and secretly longed for more company. The warmth and fun at Thameside were exactly what she needed. The manager, deputy, and all staff were also amazing with us as a family - always kind, open, and proactive. It was a pleasure to visit and feel the love in the home. A heartfelt thank you to everyone there.

Since a dear friend became a patient at Limegrove, I have always been amazed by the kindness and care she and all others inmates receive from all the staff. There are so many activities and drinks offered and friends are always included if appropriate. We also receive a great welcome from all staff,
particularly at reception and there my friend 'house'. If one had to go into care, they is certainly the best home I have experienced.

Eastlake

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My dad has been at Eastlake for two months in respite which has now become permanent. The home is wonderful. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the food, accommodation, atmosphere, activities and care are really outstanding. Dad is really happy at Eastlake, and we have seen such a difference
in him (for the good) since he has been at Eastlake. The management and entire care team have been so kind and supportive, which has taken a massive load off mum's and my shoulders in particular. I can relax in the knowledge that he is being well looked after, he is safe, has a proper routine again, and most importantly, he is happy at Eastlake. There is also far more stimulation, social interaction etc for him in this environment than there was when he was at home. I would strongly recommend Eastlake and am extremely grateful to all the team for what they are doing for Dad, which allows me to be his daughter again. Thank you.

Limegrove

We just wanted to say thank you so much for making Pat's respite stay at Limegrove all that she needed, she has come out full of confidence and with her zest for life back - we know that it is a team effort and the team that you are all part of is truly special. Knowing Limegrove as we do, we didn't
hesitate to think of you when she decided that she needed a break from looking after herself at home.
Everyone took the time to get to know Pat and to support her to keep her independence as much as possible, that has meant a lot to her and I know she won't hesitate to recommend you to anyone. She is always concerned about whether she would be able to have gluten free food options and she was chuffed to know that the chef was personally arranging her meal choices! The experience has been such a good one that we know if the time comes for Pat to move out of her home, that Limegrove will be hers and our first choice.

My mum moved to Greenacres in June 2025. We visited a few care homes prior to choosing Greenacres and none gave anywhere near the same 'homely' feel that we got when we visited. . Every single member of staff that we have spoken to since mum moved in has been friendly, engaging and helpful. You can
clearly see that the staff care about the residents and their welfare.
My mum has settled in so well and as a family we could not have wished for more.

Our mother has recently moved into West Hall (Birch Lodge), and our experience this far exceeded our expectations. We were quite apprehensive about the transition but the staff were so kind and supportive to our mother and all of us as a family. For the last few weeks, we have felt more and more comfortable
with mum being here with regular updates and photos being sent. Mum also looks happy and well looked after and she has certainly settled into her comfortable surrounding far quicker than we imagined. The staff are so caring which is clear to see.

This is good news and bad news; good news because I am going home, bad news because I am leaving Elizabeth Court, which has provided me with excellent care for 6 weeks. I came here on 24th July after spending many weeks in Croydon University hospital. I had suffered from memory loss and confusion, which
led to brain shunt surgery. At Elizabeth Court - I have been surrounded by caring, professional staff who have given me security and confidence, all with good humours. I have regained much of my strength through the activities and exercises and good nutritious food including well tenderised joints of meats. I have enjoyed many times in the garden. Thank you all for your kindness.

The staff at Limegrove were very helpful when we told them that our mum wasn't happy in her unit as she was having problems with another resident. We gave it some time, but the situation didn't improve. After a review meeting, it was decided that mum should move to another unit. This was dealt with
very quickly and efficiently, and I'm pleased to say that mum is much happier now. My siblings and I are very happy that our mum is a resident at Limegrove. The staff are very caring and answer questions to our satisfaction.
