My mother, who had advanced dementia, received excellent care while she was in West Hall (for several years). I can't praise the staff enough, particularly her key worker and the other carers. I will be forever grateful to them for the care they provided, and I would highly recommend West Hall.

I am extremely grateful for the continued care my mother receives from the wonderful staff at Oakleigh. At the end of this month, she will have been a resident for two years, and during this time I have witnessed a level of care, and affection toward my mother that means so much to me, my Father, and
all of Joan's family. Thank you. Kevin.

Hello, I rarely write reviews but believe in credit where credit is due and felt it only right to share my experiences at Moore Place, Esher. My 89 yr old mum has been there for nearly 4 years now and sadly now has dementia and mobility problems. This has been tricky for me to adjust to but the staff
at Moore Place have really helped the process for both my mum and myself. Whether it has been Jemma or Linda on reception, or Claire and Rahul looking after mum, or Sarah who works tirelessly at organising events and outings, they all do their bit to help get mum from her room to reception, so I can get mum out for a drive. When I arrive back, there is always someone ready to take mum back to her floor and make her a cup of tea, all of which is really appreciated. Chelsea (the home manager) has done a great job of bringing the team together and keep the staff motivated. Thank you to you all. Best regards

My wife went into Moore Place for one week. From the start staff making the arrangements were excellent - very flexible over dates, choice of room etc. she was warmly and efficiently welcomed and her room was well equipped, clean and modern.
She is severely movement- restricted and was able to operate
easily throughout the home. Meals were high standard, snacks always available, but the key point was the consistently warm, friendly and helpful environment, made so by the excellent staff and main room. A very good experience.

I would just like to say how impressed my family were with the thoughtful and proactive way Oak Lodge management dealt with a change of routine, which had unsettled our mother. Once the reasons for the move had been explained, it became obvious it had been made in mother's best interests, and we were
filled with admiration by the Lodge's swift adjustment of the plan to reassure her while still ensuring the safest outcome for her. The new setup meant everyone was happy. Thank you not just for listening but for taking action so promptly.

I cannot recommend Eastlake Care Home highly enough. My dear friend and former neighbour was a resident of Eastlake up until the end of her years, and it was such a comfort to see how happy and genuinely well-cared for she was during her time with them. Every time I visited, the home was spotlessly
clean and I was always greeted by a team of staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made such a difference. I did truly feel like she was in a 'home from home' and it felt like a place where she wasn't just a resident, but was surrounded by love and dignity. Thank you to the entire team for providing such a supportive and warm environment, especially towards the end of her life, it was such a comfort to know she was in good hands and that's all I could wish for.

Greenacres

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum has been in Greenacres for just over two years. She came in fairly mobile but a little confused. The staff were amazing then, they dealt with her daily needs both physically and emotionally. They recognised when she was unwell and dealt with it immediately. Now she is not so well and is spending
more time in bed, the care hasn't changed. The staff are respectful of her needs and she is still treated individually and not as just another old lady.
The food here is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for the catering staff. The housekeeping staff are all kind and respectful of when Mum is in bed or I am visiting and they clean her room so well.
I would highly recommend Greenacres care home to anyone and thank you to all the staff for all they do.

At the end of her life I was as always kept informed and
treated with the greatest respect. I can't fault the care received at the home.

Glendale

My sister had been a resident at Glendale Care Home since February 2025, we choose Glendale out of the many other local Care Homes available due to the enthusiastic and caring receptionist that carried out our show round. She introduced us to staff members whilst walking us through the home, we could
see that the residents were being well cared for and seemed very happy. Throughout my sisters time in Glendale the staff were very helpful and caring towards my sister.
In the final weeks of my sister's time at Glendale the senior team leaders were absolutely excellent, providing the extra support and care my sister required, along with keeping the family informed of my sister's condition.
Overall I would say Glendale Care Home provides excellent service and care facilities for your loved ones.
The care home does require some urgent refurbishment and redecorating works to smarten the facilities up.
Reply from Feroze Lalloo, Regional Support Manager at GlendaleThank you for taking the time to leave Glendale a review. We are so pleased to hear you were happy with the care and support provided and appreciate your lovely comments. We are pleased to say we have since recruited a handy man who is currently working through decorating works required across the home. Thank you again for your honest feedback and kind words.

I wouldn't want my mum anywhere else. From entering the main reception, always a warm greeting. Clean and welcoming atmosphere and decor. Activities are organised for twice daily and are varied to include as many residents as possible. This can't be easy to plan. Laundry is always fresh, rooms clean,
lounge area cosy. Staff and team leaders are very present and always approachable.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our Mum was a resident at Thameside for a year and a half. It was absolutely the best decision that we made for her :) The staff were absolutely wonderful with her and always had the time to talk to us too. Whenever we came for a visit (and these were unannounced, at different times of the week and
day), there was always laughter and cheerfulness when we walked through the door and a feeling of love and compassion for all the residents.
Mum was so well cared for by all the staff and they really took the time to get to know the residents.
Just a brilliant experience from start to finish - Thameside will always have a special place in our memories.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum was in Eastlake for just over a year and she has to move as her care needs changed.
Eastlake is a 1st Class care home, the rooms, catering, communal areas and activities are excellent and the staff are professional, personal and attentive.
My mum was the happiest she has been in years. I personally
was always made welcome with a lovely greeting, nice cuppa, biscuit and even invited to stay for dinner.
I was kept informed all the time about my Mums care and any health problems or falls.
She was escorted to hospital when needed with a friendly person by her side usually Linda.
The whole experience was 5* and I personally would highly recommend Eastlake to anyone who is looking for a place for a loved one.

My husband recently stayed at Birch Lodge within West Hall for respite care, and we were extremely pleased with the experience. The staff were very friendly, kind, attentive, and treated him with genuine respect. They took the time to get to know him quickly, and included him in two outings during his
stay with them. The meals were excellent, and he was cared for with real kindness, which gave our whole family great peace of mind.

My mum has been living here for a few months now, and her room is very nice and a good size and en-suite, which gives her some independence. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, always checking on mum to see if she is ok. The staff keep you up to date on everything, from mum's health and activities.
So happy with this care home.
