A dedicated staff. Relatives soon end up on first name terms with staff and residents making it a personal experience. Residents enjoy daily activities and excellent food. Rooms are modern, clean and bright with shower en-suites and it's all maintained to quite a high standard. It's a dedicated building not simply a converted house, which probably makes it all easier to manage and more pleasant for residents. All residents I have spoken to are very happy, some previously having been elsewhere in care homes. Barbeques, visiting entertainers, hairdresser and nail specialist are organised week-to-week. Liaison with local GP's on medical matters is quite thorough and dispensation of medication appears tightly controlled. In summary, it seems very good here

We are so pleased with the care we have received with my uncle here. The staff are amazing and helped us navigate this difficult situation with ease. So caring and nothing is any trouble of them to help with. Jaylee has been amazing help.

Greenacres is a special place. The staff are incredibly happy, very caring, always welcoming and always patient and kind. The food always smells amazing. My mum has been there since September and is very settled and happy. When I arrive to visit she is always eating and drinking, dancing or cuddling staff. She is always clean well dressed warm and content. My father will be joining her this week and I'm relaxed and confident that he will be loved and cared for just like my mum. It's been a difficult time for us, but the staff and managers here have made this transition much easier.

My friend, who has advanced dementia, has been in Greenacres for a couple of months. Unfortunately, due to the dementia, her behaviour can be challenging. I am so impressed with the care she receives at Greenacres. The staff are professional and always kind and caring, even in what can sometimes be difficult circumstances. At Greenacres, I feel my friend is safe, comfortable and cared for in a very sympathetic manner.

Mum has been in Greenacres for just over two years. She came in fairly mobile but a little confused. The staff were amazing then, they dealt with her daily needs both physically and emotionally. They recognised when she was unwell and dealt with it immediately. Now she is not so well and is spending more time in bed, the care hasn't changed. The staff are respectful of her needs and she is still treated individually and not as just another old lady.
The food here is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for the catering staff. The housekeeping staff are all kind and respectful of when Mum is in bed or I am visiting and they clean her room so well.

I would highly recommend Greenacres care home to anyone and thank you to all the staff for all they do.

My mum moved to Greenacres in June 2025. We visited a few care homes prior to choosing Greenacres and none gave anywhere near the same 'homely' feel that we got when we visited. . Every single member of staff that we have spoken to since mum moved in has been friendly, engaging and helpful. You can clearly see that the staff care about the residents and their welfare.

My mum has settled in so well and as a family we could not have wished for more.

My husband received a warm welcome for his two week respite stay. I was also received warmly and was impressed by the professionalism of the staff in taking my information and in giving me the information I needed to feel he would be safe and well cared for. Greenacres was beautifully furnished and he had a clean and attractive room with a large bathroom. I was very happy that he would receive such professional, kind care in my absence.

I have no complaints, gran was very well looked after, she was always clean and fresh. Staff are amazing. Staff are very supportive to gran and to me. The only reason for gran to leave was because she came to a closer place to where we live.

The staff knew how to communicate with my grandmother and were extremely competent, caring and efficient. The establishment in very well run, extremely clean, tidy and comfortable. I am very grateful for the time my grandmother spent there. The level of care at Greenacres in amazing. I would have been happy for nan to stay there long-term but she needed to be closer to family.

My Mother became a resident at Greenacres in December 2023 following a car accident caused by my Father. I was impressed by the home right from her first day. Since then a new Manager has been appointed and may I say how impressed I've been by her. Every time I've visited mum, (twice weekly), she's been available when I've had concerns with mum, even though she seems to be incredibly busy she always greets me with a smile and gives her full attention to me, exactly what is needed when dealing with love ones. I'd also add, all the Team leaders are very personable, attentive and professional, I can't find fault any of them. The carers who look after mum are outstanding, three in particular, who are mums favourites are always joyful, friendly, attentive, caring and are knowledgeable when asked about mums week. I believe it takes a very special person to do what they do and I'm forever grateful for them. I'd also like to add how amazing, outstanding and caring the two reception ladies are.

I visit my dad at the care home. He has advanced Alzheimer's yet he is always relaxed and content. He is very well looked after, nothing is pushed unnecessarily onto him, he is treated with respect and within reason, enabled to make simple choices and indicate preferences. No one gets agitated with him, despite his clarity in speaking beginning to terminally fail.

My father has lived at Greenacres since February, and as a family, we are incredibly grateful to all the staff for looking after him so beautifully. We cannot fault any aspect of his care, and we are always very reassured to see how well he is being looked after. The staff are always very kind and helpful and manage all aspects of his care with great professionalism. The team have taken the time to get to know Dad as a person and treat him with respect and compassion at all times. They are also very responsive to us as a family and keep us well-informed.

Our lifelong friend who lived with us for many years moved to the home earlier in the year.
They settled in well and we visit several times a week. The resident says they are very happy there and informs us (quote) " I am living my best life as there is something going on every day".

The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Dad was admitted from hospital to Greenacres care home in August 2024. He has dementia and was having falls that resulted in hospital stays, so it was felt he would be safer in a care home.
We as his family were apprehensive as to whether Dad would settle, but from the first day, he was treated with kindness and compassion. His room is spacious with his own bathroom and overlooks the garden which is lovely. The menu is varied and Dad really enjoys his meals, snacks of fresh fruit and cake are available if residents want a snack available throughout the day. Fluids are so important as often the elderly don't drink enough, the staff encourage them with tea, coffee and fruit juices.
The staff are always attentive and readily assist the residents in their personal daily care, cheerful and professional as they carry out their duties.

Dad is so well cared for and we are delighted that Greenacres is his new home.
