My best friend's mum, whom I've known for over thirty years, became a resident at Greenacre, following a car accident in December 2023. Being a very spirited lady we were concerned about how she would deal with her change of circumstances. We couldn't have been more delighted, the staff are well trained, helpful and always cheerful. The meals are of a very high standard and they have afternoon tea/coffee and cake. My friend's mum loves it there, she's always chatting to the staff or doing an activity. The assistant manager is an extremely open, professional young man who has excellent customer service skills. The team leaders are always available, helpful and efficient as are the two amazing ladies on reception, in fact, I've never encountered any member of the staff less than first class. I would recommend this care home 100%

My mother has recently moved into permanent residential care at Greenacre for the first time from home and I couldn't have asked for a better transition. The staff have been extremely helpful in all aspects, I couldn't fault the care staff who have been friendly, patient and really caring with her and I have witnessed with other residents. My mum has settled in really well and has already improved her mobility with the help of the care team. Very impressed.

There is a big change in her since she has been here. As she feels safe which is not the case at home.

We have been happy with the care given to our friend over the past four years. However, her needs now increased from residential to nursing with more individual supervision required necessitating her move into a nursing home. The administration involved in leaving here has been handled very efficiently.

We would recommend Greenacres if you are looking for a care home with 1) a stable staff team who are always visible, 2) staff who do their best to give residents a good quality of life and 3) modern, well-kept buildings and gardens.

My father has been at Greenacres only a short time but so far the staff have been welcoming and have gone out of their way to ensure he is happy in his new environment. The accommodation is bright clean and cheerful, we have been able to bring pieces of furniture and hang photos and pictures on the walls to provide a homely atmosphere. Greenacres is a happy caring environment.

The home is always spotless throughout, from reception, corridors, sitting room and Mums room, the dog never finds a single crumb!

From the day Mum cam into the home to settling her in, we have been so impressed with the care and friendliness of all staff. They cannot do enough for you. Mum's room is spacious, modern and warm. She has settled really well and is extremely happy. I would thoroughly recommend Greenacres for anyone looking for top-class care and staff who get to know you personally. A real home from home! I can relax knowing she's in the best care. Thank you to all the staff.

Since Mum has moved in, we can only add that it is the people working at Greenacres that make the home such a great choice. I shouldn't name anyone for fearing of missing someone out but the staff have been absolutely outstanding, their care and attention to detail is second to none and we are so impressed with them. We can't thank them enough, we would definitely recommend Greenacres and are so pleased we found it.

My brother has been at Greenacres for nearly five years. He has had the best care and has a lovely clean and bright room with an ensuite. He walks around with his wheels and is kept clean and comfortable.

My mother is looked after and cared for very well. The staff all have her welfare at heart. The common areas and her room are very clean.

Dad has been a resident at Greenacres for five-plus years. He is comfortable and well cared for with every consideration taken for his health and well-being. The team at Greenacres are very professional, sociable, responsive and communicative.

We were concerned about finding the right home for Dad but once we visited Greenacres and met the staff, we knew we could put our concerns aside. All the staff have been amazing and very caring of not only Dad but us as a family. It's a welcoming and happy place to be and visit. Highly recommended and I can't praise the staff enough.

Greenacres has been and continues to be a very caring home whose staff are clearly very caring and professional. I feel fully supported and informed in all the decisions that affect Mum's care. I feel they have gone above their duty of care as my mum is deteriorating due to her Alzheimer's.

This is Mum's second care home and she is so much happier here than at the first one. The whole team care for Mum with dignity, empathy and compassion and I am very grateful for that. The home is very well looked after and is clean and well equipped with some activities that Mum enjoys very much, especially the rise club. There is a lovely garden that Mum enjoys in the summer and the home is well-positioned to take Mum for coffee and shopping when the weather permits.

Since my mother transferred to Greenacres Care Home, following an unhappy experience in a previous care home, we have been met by friendly staff with a 'can do' attitude who put the resident at the centre of their practice. This is very reassuring and I feel that staff have made real efforts to get to know my mother and go out of their way to include her in activities that they feel will interest and engage her. I find the staff accessible and her regular carers very kind and anxious to do their very best for her and the residents in their care. The home is warm and welcoming and as a very regular visitor, I meet with cheery and motivated staff on a regular basis. My mother has settled well and, as a family, we appreciate the care and kindness offered by the Greenacres staff.
