Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has now been a resident in Millfield for a year. During this time the staff have gone above and beyond with the care given. The Christmas celebrations have been amazing. Millfield held their Christmas party last weekend and family members were invited. There was excellent food and entertainment
with bingo and carol singers, and of course Santa. During the previous week the care home had a visiting panto group (Jack and the Beanstalk) which my mum said was brilliant. Thank you Millfield!

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
After a long and difficult year(staying in various assessment units), my aunt moved in to Montrose hall 6 weeks ago. Although she was initially wary , she seems to have settled in well. First and foremost the staff all seem brilliant, everyone I have met have been respectful, friendly and helpful towards
both my aunt and myself . From the manager, deputy, seniors, carers, laundry and domestic staff - absolutely everyone has been consistently kind, interested and thoughtful. Although my aunt is not very communicative, staff are gently encouraging her and getting to know her needs and wants.
The home itself is lovely, very clean bright and well maintained. The dementia friendly decor makes it very welcoming, the facilities are great with different themed communal areas. Her bedroom is very comfortable, a good size and well furnished. I am very confident that my aunt will be happy and cared for here.I feel this is a high quality care home with amazing staff.

Dad has only been in 1 week. Had an issue the first weekend. Dad was in the same clothes for 3 days (not the best start) after raising concern it was addressed and he has since been changed daily. Dad seem to be settling in quicker than we thought. The days out are just the tonic he needs and we are
kept up to date which is great and reassuring
Reply from Rebecca Mardy, Home Manager at Lightbowne HallThank you for taking the time to leave us review. It's great to hear Dad enjoys the trips out and you have rated the Overall Experience as Good. We understand Dad was very distressed the first few days of moving in, which can impact normal routine, however we are very pleased Dad is now happy and settled with us here. If you have any concerns you would like to discuss further, my door is always open. Thank you again for your time. Best wishes

The staff at the home are very professional at what they do and care for the residents. They are very helpful to the residents. The residents are looked after in a safe manner. I don't think they need to improve anything, as they are very caring.

From the first day that Mum joined Lightbowne Hall she was welcomed and listened to, by the caring and respectful staff. They went out of their way to help Mum adjust to life in a care home, encouraging her to mix with the residents and engage in the wide variety of activities on offer. The facilities
provided were excellent, with well appointed rooms, clean and comfortable communal areas and even an on-site Hair Salon and Pub, which all help residents to feel at home and part of a community. Throughout Mums stay she received first class support and care from the Staff, who ensured she was comfortable and able to maximise the many engagement opportunities. Even as Mum battled her dementia to the end the Team at Lightbowne remained empathetic, caring and above all respectful; they are a credit to the Care Providing community. A heartfelt thank you to all the Staff at Lightbowne for providing peace of mind for me, and our wider family, in caring for Mum when she most needed it.

Mum has been very settled since moving in Montrose and we are more than happy with the care and respect shes recieved since being there. We find it very supportive, clean, and staff are very friendly. Nothing seems to much trouble. It was the best decision we made for mum. We are happy but more importantly

Management and staff are excellent. I can see my mum is well looked after and cared for. I cannot thank them enough for the work that they do providing a safe nurturing environment. Lightbowne Hall has got to be one of the best if not thee best care homes Anchor has. The management team are skilled
in the job they do, providing support, leadership and direction to all staff members enabling them to provide a quality service to all residents.

I am so pleased that we found Millfield for my Mum. The staff are excellent, friendly and provide the care that Mum needs with dignity and total professionalism, whilst allowing her independence where possible. They have become not only her carers, but her friends, nothing is too much trouble.
It
is particularly lovely how each residents Birthdays and special occasions are recognised and celebrated.
The facilities and the cleanliness is excellent with residents rooms being cleaned daily.
Fun activities are also offered daily and community outings are carried out with pub lunches, local walks and shopping trips where appropriate.
I can't thank Millfield enough for the support they give not only to Mum, but to us as a family and for making Mum happy and comfortable. A Massive Thankyou from us all!

Wellington Lodge is friendly, clean and lots to do. The staff are really lovely nothing is too much trouble. My sister really liked it. I live 6 doors from a care home which would have been easy for me. It took me 3 buses to get there but was worth it. She didn't want to move anywhere else, only at
Wellington Lodge.

I have always found the staff and all of the management to be kind, courteous and very helpful during the time my mother was settling into her new home. I have found the building to be very clean and mother enjoys the food however my mother has often said she feels lonely and does not feel she really
has anyone to talk to as most other residents do not seem to be able to communicate on the same level as my mother.

Myself and my mum are really happy with Wellington Lodge. The manager and all the staff are really kind and caring, always there to help when needed. My mum's been so happy with all her meals, eating really well, she has made friends with some of their residents, and I am so pleased that the home smells
lovely and is spotlessly clean. A few of the carers are extra special to us, and we will never forget them. Thank you.

My mum has been in Hatton Grange for over 2 years now, and in all that time she has been very settled and happy. I look forward to seeing her because that's exactly what I want for her. The staff who work there are so caring and make time to include the residents and visitors. (There is always a cup
