From the first day that Mum joined Lightbowne Hall she was welcomed and listened to, by the caring and respectful staff. They went out of their way to help Mum adjust to life in a care home, encouraging her to mix with the residents and engage in the wide variety of activities on offer. The facilities
provided were excellent, with well appointed rooms, clean and comfortable communal areas and even an on-site Hair Salon and Pub, which all help residents to feel at home and part of a community. Throughout Mums stay she received first class support and care from the Staff, who ensured she was comfortable and able to maximise the many engagement opportunities. Even as Mum battled her dementia to the end the Team at Lightbowne remained empathetic, caring and above all respectful; they are a credit to the Care Providing community. A heartfelt thank you to all the Staff at Lightbowne for providing peace of mind for me, and our wider family, in caring for Mum when she most needed it.

Mum has been very settled since moving in Montrose and we are more than happy with the care and respect shes recieved since being there. We find it very supportive, clean, and staff are very friendly. Nothing seems to much trouble. It was the best decision we made for mum. We are happy but more importantly
mum is too. No regrets whatsoever.

The care at Lightbowne Hall is second to none. My mother Rita has found new peace and been so well looked after here. All the staff show patience, care and dedication. I always enjoy visiting in the knowledge mum is cared for. Even on difficult days I leave knowing she is loved. The activities and cleanliness

Management and staff are excellent. I can see my mum is well looked after and cared for. I cannot thank them enough for the work that they do providing a safe nurturing environment. Lightbowne Hall has got to be one of the best if not thee best care homes Anchor has. The management team are skilled
in the job they do, providing support, leadership and direction to all staff members enabling them to provide a quality service to all residents.

I am so pleased that we found Millfield for my Mum. The staff are excellent, friendly and provide the care that Mum needs with dignity and total professionalism, whilst allowing her independence where possible. They have become not only her carers, but her friends, nothing is too much trouble.
It
is particularly lovely how each residents Birthdays and special occasions are recognised and celebrated.
The facilities and the cleanliness is excellent with residents rooms being cleaned daily.
Fun activities are also offered daily and community outings are carried out with pub lunches, local walks and shopping trips where appropriate.
I can't thank Millfield enough for the support they give not only to Mum, but to us as a family and for making Mum happy and comfortable. A Massive Thankyou from us all!

Wellington Lodge is friendly, clean and lots to do. The staff are really lovely nothing is too much trouble. My sister really liked it. I live 6 doors from a care home which would have been easy for me. It took me 3 buses to get there but was worth it. She didn't want to move anywhere else, only at
Wellington Lodge.

My mum has been in Hatton Grange since Jan 25. They all get together for meals in the dining room to meet up and chat. The food smells and looks good.
She has her own room and floor sensors during the night for protection.

I have always found the staff and all of the management to be kind, courteous and very helpful during the time my mother was settling into her new home. I have found the building to be very clean and mother enjoys the food however my mother has often said she feels lonely and does not feel she really
has anyone to talk to as most other residents do not seem to be able to communicate on the same level as my mother.

Myself and my mum are really happy with Wellington Lodge. The manager and all the staff are really kind and caring, always there to help when needed. My mum's been so happy with all her meals, eating really well, she has made friends with some of their residents, and I am so pleased that the home smells
lovely and is spotlessly clean. A few of the carers are extra special to us, and we will never forget them. Thank you.

My mum has been in Hatton Grange for over 2 years now, and in all that time she has been very settled and happy. I look forward to seeing her because that's exactly what I want for her. The staff who work there are so caring and make time to include the residents and visitors. (There is always a cup
of tea and biscuits available!) It has been such a relief to know my mum is safe and happy.

Mum has been a resident at millfield since November 2021. The care towards mum and the support towards us has always been outstanding from day one. Unfortunately mum had a 6 week spell in hospital due to her mental health, Alzheimer's and falls in July, it was touch and go as to whether she would be
able to go back home as she was so poorly but millfield did everything they could to get her back safely and with a proper support package in place, since she has been back she has started talking again, walking, eating and drinking, ( which she had not done for 6 weeks) this is all down to the hard work, commitment, dedication, continuity of care love, professionalism and kindness from each and every member of staff that work at millfield. I would like to say a huge thank you not just from me but from my mum and all the family. Anchor homes should be extremely proud of all the staff working at millfield.

Mum has now been a resident at Millfield for a year and it is so comforting to continue to see the same first class support and care and cleanliness.
Absolutely excellent, with a will to provide care with dignity and encourage a social community with varied activities and celebration events.
Everyone
has a welcoming smile whenever I visit and it is clear that they are up to speed with the needs to support my mother plus providing regular feedback to any questions I have.
Thank you all at Millfield as I really do not know what I would do without your support.

The staff are always welcoming and work tirelessly. They treat Mum with dignity and with a personal touch and a friendly manner.
Nothing seems too much trouble and on the very odd occasion when I have a concern or a question regarding care, it is promply acted upon. The home also contact me and keep
me informed should they have concerns or updates on her care. I find on my visits the home is always clean and odourless (other than pleasant smells).

Communication poor. Residents' needs not met. Home said couldn't meet them ie hygiene, nutrition, elimination (this is not a nursing need). Staff frequently sat at a table on their phones - not professional. Relative sat in chair at 11:45 am, covered in scrambled egg (staff knew she couldn't feed herself).
No communication from management re terminating. After a hospital stay measures not put back in place to lessen number of falls. (We accepted that she would fall and never blamed anyone). Received a letter stating we hadn't paid May fees (we had). It appeared we had been refunded too much but no one seemd to accept that initially). Totally unprofessional.

Since my mum moved into Montrose Hall she has improved greatly. Mum fell and broke her hip and required support to start walking again. The staff at Montrose Hall have been amazinf and have gone above and beyond for my mum and us as a family. Mum is now walking! Mum feels safe and is very happy. We
as a family are extremely grateful for all the support we have received from all the staff and the management team. Montrose Hall has lots of activities for Mum to get involved in and Mum has even been recognised for her veteran status.

Mum has just finished 2 weeks of respite care at Millfield. Ann was friendly and professional from the start of our engagement, arranging everything. Mum moved in seamlessly and was given a great room with a nice view. She was introduced to other people in the home, so she could socialize with them.
There were various activities arranged, including singing. Whenever I spoke to mum she kept talking about how nice the food was. It was a great stay for her and I am sure mum will be going again, if they will let her.
