Every time I visited my brother-in-law, we entered a friendly environment. The staff were very friendly. I had lunch with him a few times, and the food was delicious. His room was light and comfortable, and his daughter had hung pictures on the walls and placed photographs of his family around the room.
He is comfortable there and likes the staff. It is a lovely home, and when leaving, I am assured he is happy and well looked after.

The reason my husband is in Harden Hall is due to me having a seizure and being unable to look after him. He is settled and happy there. The home is homely. The staff are friendly and caring. The food is delicious. I have spent numerous lunch times with him. Any concerns, I have the staff deal with
it straight away. My mind is at rest knowing he is happy there.

I have nothing but praise for Maple Dene, it is the best care home in Birmingham that I have visited. The staff are always warm, welcoming and nothing is 'too much' trouble. The home itself is clean, warm and has a lovely homely feel. The team work hard to make regular improvements all the time including
a new pergola in the garden this summer. There are fantastic activities put on for residents including a chair-based exercise class and staff are always happy to help facilitate exercise programmes prescribed by health professionals. The food looks fantastic. I genuinely can't fault it, the staff all really genuinely care, I'd highly recommend this care home to anyone.

We were so worried about dad beginning his next chapter of his life at 89. He was anxious too. However, the care and reassurance that Bloomfield has shown for dad and the family has been wonderful. We can call at anytime, we still take him out to his 'dementia' club, and we can have privacy in his room
with him, which we have made like home.
I would definitely recommend.

My experience during the last 2 months was one where my issues were raised concerning my mum and management dealt with it in a professional way and kept me update about the progress and informed of any changes and her door was always open for me to go in a talk with her, which I was happy with and I
trust that they are doing there but to keep resident and the family happy.

My mom's under pant's keep going missing since January 2025 I've bought in 30 pairs of pant's. All her gift's and clothes in her room are labelled and her name is on everything. She has had three pair of slipper's all went missing. I find the staff all very good but I do think they need more staff as
it quite busy.

Prior to my wife becoming a resident at Trinity Lodge, we looked at several others, and Trinity Lodge was our preferred choice. The layout of the building, the cleanliness and the friendly, caring staff made it an obvious choice. Any issues I have or concerns are listened to and addressed either by
the team leaders or the manager. There are some very good food choices at mealtimes, and the 3 dining rooms are all quite pleasant. Generally, the maintenance around the whole building is well maintained, with all aspects being carefully looked after.

Trinity Lodge is a very good home. In my experience, my mum receives very good care and all her needs are met. The staff are always polite and welcoming and having dealt with the managers, I know they have tact and understanding, including when dealing with sensitive, personal and difficult issues affecting
vulnerable elderly people. Special efforts go on regularly for residents who wish to participate.

Mum sustained numerous unwitnessed falls since April 25 the first resulting in a broken hip and wrist . The last 2 weeks ago leaving her virtually unable to stand or walk. Whilst she was a high falls risk she and other residents are constantly left unattended in lounges . Personal hygiene not given
as its to easy to document refused and its one less job for the staff to attend too. The home often smells and overall looks unclean with food left on tables and floors. Residents look untidy with food on their clothes. I witnessed residents wet as they had been left sitting for 2 long. I witnessed residents who couldn't eat being given food with no utensils. If you can attend to most of your needs you may be OK anything extra will be a problem that they will say they cant meet and they will remove you from their home. No social engagement with residents no entertainment. Little communication between staff Untrained new staff The list goes on Think carefully before sending your LO here

As a family, we were apprehensive about our Mothers transition into a care home -

We couldn't be further from the truth now.

Mother is being looked after brilliantly and has a great relationship with the staff members.

They've really taken to her cheeky character.

Thank you, Trinity Lodge

We sadly lost our beautiful nan recently, after she spent 9 months living in Godiva Lodge. Those months were some of the happiest of her life, even while living with dementia. From the very first day, the staff didn't just care for Nan - they loved her. They treated her with kindness, patience and dignity,
and they gave her so much joy. She wasn't always easy, but they embraced her for who she was and built the most special relationships with her. They also cared for us as her family, wrapping us in support and making us feel part of their family too. The events and special days they organised gave us precious time and memories with Nan that we will carry in our hearts forever. No words will ever be enough to thank them. The love, compassion and respect they show their residents is extraordinary, and we will be forever grateful to everyone at Godiva Lodge for the way they loved and cared for our Nan. Thank you.

My mother lived in Bloomfield House for about 18 months before she died in May 2025, she was 93 years old and suffering from dementia.
The staff at the home were exceptionally kind and understanding. They knew all the residents personally and knew their likes and dislikes.
My mom had lived with me
for a time before we thought it necessary to go into a home with specialist care. I personally could not cope with her mood swings and escape attempts. We visited several homes before choosing Bloomfield and we were all very pleased with the outcome. She settled in very well, enjoyed the food and joined in the activities.
We never felt concerned about her safety or wellbeing while she was there and when she died the staff were so considerate and kind. Even at the funeral one of the caseworkers came in his own time, which I thought was so lovely.

All of the staff - carers, office staff, catering, maintenance... always have a smile for the residents. It is lovely to see that my dad always has a smile for the staff too - a sign that he feels happy, comfortable and safe.
Recently, my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and the staff
went above and beyond to make this a special occasion for them both and our family. It meant so much to my mum to be able to celebrate this with my dad in surroundings where he felt comfortable and at ease. Thank you so much

My Dad had been a resident for over 4 years. The staff loved and cared for my dad during the advancement of his dementia and then his care when he was diagnosed with advance lung cancer in May 2025.
They get everything in place for dad that he needed so he had a peaceful, comfortable and dignified
