My husband received a warm welcome when he joined the home in July this year. The staff are very helpful & friendly and got to know him very quickly. He tells me that he is well looked after & all our friends who visit him say that they're very impressed with the home & staff. When he had a fall the staff reacted very quickly & paramedics attended promptly. I feel reassured that he is well cared for here & I enjoy visiting him here too. Well done everybody!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to any family looking for the very best care for someone they love.

The home is very friendly and the staff are really kind. Emily is very present and positive. We attended the flower arranging afternoon which was fantastic fun. The home appears well run , clean and has a warm atmosphere.

My wife I believe is getting best possible care for her condition of dementia

My uncle came to St. Edith's initially on respite but then becoming a permanent resident. He seems to have thrived since his arrival and we are extremely pleased with the care and support he is getting. The staff at the home have all been excellent, always very friendly, approachable and helpful.

I was not overly familiar with a care home environment, and had only limited knowledge of what to expect. All I can say is that I would recommend St Edith's Court without hesitation.

When I visited my friend at St Edith's she was enjoying a quiz with staff and other residents. Everyone was participating, they were having fun. They had refreshments and some nibbles. My friends room is always clean and tidy. My friend said that the staff are very good, nothing is to much trouble. She is very happy living in this home.

My Mother is cared for by a wonderful team at Blackbrook House. She is happy and always has someone to chat to and is safe 24 hours of the day. Blackbrook gives us complete peace of mind knowing that the staff are genuinely kind, care, and treat mum with warmth respect and dignity as she battles with dementia. She is always encouraged to join in with activities. We are grateful for the care mum receives and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blackbrook House.

Blackbrook have proved to be simply amazing for my father - the care he recieves is simply first class. He is always dressed nicely his room clean and tidy, bed perfectly made. He always has plenty of drinks to hand and is always encouraged to join others in the dining room - where chef Mandy thoroughly looks after them all.

Dad moved into Blackbrook House a couple of months ago and has settled in extremely well. From when we first visited Blackbrook House my wife and I have been very impressed indeed with the care, professionalism and friendliness of the staff and with the quality and cleanliness of the building. Dad feels comfortable and at home at Blackbrook House and feels safe and well cared for there. He appreciates the varied activities which are available and enjoys the company of the staff and other residents. Thank you!

The care home and gardens are clean and well maintained

My mum came in February on respite and stayed she is now permanent. Staff here are amazing and have gone above and beyond to settle her. Lots of wonderful activities and events cannot fault anything always something going on if she wants to if not her room is comfy to stay in and watch tv with a coffee . I can visit whenever and lovely to spend time with her in the beautiful gardens .

There are other issues, but not enough room to write them all up on here!!!!

After three months I feel that Mum is safe and well cared for. All the staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. Mum has the same feeling about the staff. The accommodation is in good order and Mum has a cosy and comfortable room. After a major change from independent living I think Mum is settled and basically happy. I would recommend the home to anyone. The staff make it a good home to live in.
