My mum has been a resident at Simon Marks Court for a month, what an amazing place, she is washed, well dressed, well looked after, staff are amazing, wonderful leadership. Mum has settled so well she praises the staff and loves the food, she can't understand why she doesnt see a doctor though still
thinks she is in hospital. Amazing activities going on. I am so pleased my mum is in Simon Marks Court I wouldn't pick anywhere else.

My dad went to beech hall for 2 weeks respite. I was impressed with the staff, facilities and the care shown to residents. Everyone is super friendly and this helped dad to settle straight away. When I visited I noticed staff sat chatting to residents regularly and I knew dad would be looked after
here. Dad enjoyed his stay at beech hall and I wouldn't look elsewhere definitely recommend it to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have experienced Oulton Manor's Care for both my Mother & my Father, unfortunately for very brief spells in the last 4 months as both were admitted needing "end of life care"
Most recently this was given to my father who always only wanted to die at home but experienced the greatest care and compassion
he could ever have wished for.
He never questioned having to leave his home as he felt that Oulton Manor became it .. and as his family we were also given support, respect and strength to carry on at the most difficult time.
Even after his death I have been overwhelmed by their kindness and support.
Reply from Mark Anderson, Deputy Manager at Oulton ManorThank you for taking the time to leave a review of the care that your mother and father received at Oulton Manor - it was a pleasure of ours to care for them both. Your kind words will be shared with everybody. You are always welcome back to the home whenever passing, for a coffee or event. Thank you again.

My mum Doreen's first time in a residential home, I was amazed how quickly mum settled in.
Mum was singing and dancing to the singing act the home put on and enjoying going to the cinema.
I went to collect mum 10 days later, to find mum saying goodbye to the residents and staff hugging everyone in
site.
Was impressed with the staff and cleanness of the home, and how happy they were.
All in all delighted thank you all for.

My mum has been living at Beech Hall for just over 6 months now, overall we've had a very positve experience. There were a few initial teething problems until everyone got to know Mum's needs & routines. Mum is now thriving and it's clear she is well cared for. Seeing her happy makes visiting a pleasure
and means a lot to us as a family. The home provides a truly bespoke care service, with staff who clearily take the time to get to know each resident as an individual.

Keri, KP and Linda all went the extra mile for Dad. He loved the location in the middle of Wetherby with plenty going on. Lots of light, fun and lovely
garden will greet you and your relatives if you choose, like we did, to come to Wetherby Manor. It is a very good place for your relatives to be safe and cared for, and for relatives to be reassured of good quality care, services and attitudes.

I have chosen to write this review because I have witnessed a culture and caring commitment I have just never witnessed in an entire organisation before.
The care home had housed my friends wife until she passed away 3 years ago . afterwards they continued to welcome her husband on a social unpaid
basis. What's special about this care home is the staff ,everyone of them. My friend recently agreed to become a resident for a couple of weeks. Not only have the staff gone above and beyond to make him feel special and welcome, three of the staff teamed up to offer and execute a thorough clean of his own flat so he could return to a spotless flat after his stay at Oak Tree Lodge. They did that in their own time and without payment. The Care home is spotless itself and the atmosphere warm and caring . The motivation seems to be caring driven not cost. If I had to pick one word that fits what's really special about the staff its " ENTHUSIASM" for the residents care.

My 100 yr old mother came to the home by ambulance being unable to walk having sustained a broken pelvis having spent 4 weeks in hospital . The amazing care she has received at the Manor has changed an immobile lady into one who is now able to walk. She has also been encouraged to socialize with the
other residents and has benefitted from the care and loving support from the staff without whom I doubt she would have been able to recently celebrate her 101 birthday
Thank you Manor - Andrea

Dad has been at the home for nearly 3 years. Right from the start, Dad and all the family have been made so welcome. It really is his home. The staff are fabulous, not only do they look after Dad 24/7, they manage to find time to greet us, make time for a chat if needed (or a shoulder to lean on). The
support we have received as a family has been invaluable. Dad's health and wellbeing has improved considerably since he has lived here, which has given us, his family, peace of mind, knowing he is safe and cared for.

My husband became a resident of Sandholme Fold Care Home, Hipperholme, Halifax in early 2026. He has settled in well, enjoys being there and is happy and contented. I have also been well supported during a time of great emotional upheaval. The staff are kind, conscientious, friendly and welcoming.
Activities are varied, there's always something going on and its usually accompanied by lots of laughter. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time within reasonable guidelines.
The home itself is clean, warm and comfortable and I am very grateful that there was availability when I needed it. I have no hesitation in recommending this Care Home.

My father moved into the Manor at the beginning of January after much trepidation and a lot of soul searching. It has worked out better than we could ever have imagined. We have been delighted with the care and attention my dad has had and equally the welcome we have received as a family. From the
minute we walk in the door we are greeted with warm welcoming faces and in the bar there will usually be some event that has been organised , keeping the place lively
and the residents engaged with new experiences. Every member of staff has been kind and caring and we can ask for no more as we are helped to navigate a difficult time in our father's live.
Thank you, to you all.
Reply from Rebecca Higginson, Manager at The Manor House Roundhay Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. It means a great deal to us that both your father and your family have felt welcomed and supported from the very beginning. Creating a warm, friendly environment where residents feel engaged and at home is at the heart of what we do, so it's wonderful to know that the activities and daily atmosphere have made a positive difference.

Your kind words about our team are especially appreciated. We are very proud of our staff, and it's reassuring to hear that their care, compassion, and support have helped you navigate what can be a challenging time.

Dad felt chest pains at 10.30am on Saturday. Typically stubborn as his generation are, he refused an ambulance. Mid-afternoon I got a call from Leigh explaining the situation & would I attend for my opinion. By the time I got there, she had convinced him to let her call an ambulance. Thankfully no heart
problems & released from hospital just after midnight. Had Leigh not done what she did, I wouldn't have slept that night. Massive thanks Leigh. X Also staff who welcomed him back that night. Nothing too much for them. 5 star service!!

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum spent around 18 months at the care home. Dad visited at least 5 times a week and was treated like one of the residents too.
In the last 3 weeks of Mums life it felt like the staff stepped up a level and were amazing.
Dad visited daily and the rest of the family frequently and nothing was
too much trouble.
Making sure that we had food and drink and also allow us to talk or give us a hug if we needed one.
All the staff genuinely cared and loved Mum, we were all the same family.
Dad misses his visits and I'm sure they miss dad too. In fact Dad said if he ever found himself needing a care home he would happily go there.
What better testimony is that?
Thank you from all of us, we all think of Springfield with great fondness and gratitude.
