Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I've visited a number of care homes in the Leeds district. Beech Hall is, without doubt, the best.
It's so reassuring to know that loved ones are in safe hands. Beech Hall's biggest strength/asset is its exemplary staff, who I cannot commend highly enough.
Thank you!

Excellent care home. I would recommend the Manor Roundhay. My Dad age 85 lives here. The carers are particularly lovely, kind and patient. The house itself is beautifully designed and pleasant. But best of all, the activities and parties are phenomenal and my Dad and me have had a proper boogie, sing
a long and fun time. Totally memorable! Thanks

Mum in law is looked after very well and any concerns we have are dealt with efficiently.
There is plenty of activities for the residents and we normally see photos of these on Simon Marks Court social media page this is a good way of seeing what mum in law as been doing as when we ask she can't remember.
When we ask mum if she enjoys her meals she always says the food is nice and plenty of it.
The staff are all very friendly and recognise us when we go to see mum in law.

I'd just like to recommend Mill View Care Home to one and all, my mother has been a resident since November 2023 and in that time she has been cared for by all the staff and management there. My mother suffers from dementia and at times has struggled with this horrible condition, the staff have consistently
supported and encouraged her throughout her time at Mill View with dignity and respect. My mother feels safe and comfortable in the home and with all the staff. The home arranges family days, day trips and entertainment for the residents on regularly basis with a strong sense of family involvement and support ensuring a strong community group. The home itself is very clean and well maintained, the food is excellent, and it is a credit to the fantastic management team that run the home to an extremely high standard.

Extremely happy with the care given. All the staff from the Admin team, team leaders, care girls, catering and domestic crew were very friendly but also very professional. Its a hard decision to put a well loved parent into care even for a short spell. Felt very comfortable leaving mum in their care,
knowing she would be well looked after and all her needs addressed. Although she remained in her room apart from meals (her choice) she enjoyed the lovely food and the care given. Many thanks, I would not hesitate to recommend Trinity Fold to anyone looking for a care home.

My dad lived at Oaktree Lodge for just over two years, he just recently passed away. Dad was happy and content, he loved the food, entertainment and the company of other residents.
The care he received from the dedicated staff was wonderful.
Dad lived out his days at Oaktree Lodge as happy as anyone
could be living with Dementia.
I thank the staff for their consistent care and approachability.

Savile Park

from Catherine J (Daughter of Resident) published on 28 May 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum has been a resident at Savile Park for 1 year. She is so happy she loves all the activites they arrange for them, especially when the local schools and nursery's visit. During her time with the home she has had a number of health issues connected to her dementia, which the carers keep us updated
with. They get medical personnel to check her when she has had a episode and they ensure she is safe and comfortable when she is unwell. They picked up that she was losing weight and have addressed this with supplements thankfully she seems to have got her appetite back thanks to their action.
Savile Park is such a lovely home it feels welcoming its always clean the staff are all friendly and spend time talking to the residents which is so important to prevent them feeling isolated. Before choosing Savile Park for Mum we looked at other homes in and around Halifax, Savile Park stood out as the best one and our decision to move Mum there has proven us to be right.

As the daughter of a resident on Chester's, I am extremely happy with the level of care my mother receives. She is always clean and tidy. She is extremely settled and thoroughly enjoys the various activities. Now that she is a resident, she is properly stimulated. This is vital given her Alzheimers
diagnoses. The staff are caring and kind, and mum is happy and content. Wetherby Manor is a wonderful place, and it is extremely well managed by both the senior management team and the team leaders. Simply put, a brilliant place.
