Anchor’s Trinity Fold, in Halifax, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 50 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle. It is located in central Halifax with the benefit of outdoor space.

The home strives to deliver a range of residential care services, including convalescence care, respite care, and long term care for those who can no longer look after themselves. Trinity Fold continues to welcome new residents.

The care team gets to know customers and works with them to arrange stimulating activities both in the care home and the local community, according to individual and group interests.

Each customer’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle and care requirements. Customers eat meals freshly cooked by the home’s catering colleagues. These are made from locally sourced seasonal ingredients wherever possible and observe dietary requirements and preferences.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Just wanted to thank all the staff regardless of their roles at Anchor Trinity Fold Halifax. I have been a visiting relative for a past few years and noticed that all the residents are well looked after, happy, clean and well catered for. I would highly recommend this care home to any family looking
for a short term/long term stay the staff are unsung heroes for their care and support to everyone who steps through the door.

For over two years I have been coming along to Trinity Fold regularly to visit an aged friend. In that time she has been either in her Room or in the Communal Area. Many, many times have I seen staff interact with her, and with other residents. She is treated with every dignity, even when staff are
busy. Having visited the elderly, or others in care, through many years, I have to say that the standard at Trinity Fold is remarkably high. Several times I have observed awkward situations with residents, and on every occasion such incidents have been handled in an exemplary fashion, with patience and care. All staff seem approachable and friendly. Special events such as birthdays are treated with fun, and yet respect. Referring back to similar Care Homes I have visited, I have no doubt Trinity Fold is among the very best.

Dad has lived at Trinity Fold for 3 1/2 years. In that time the staff have treated him as family. The care is second to none, the staff are amazing, very caring, go the extra mile and very accommodating where they can. They have also supported me and the communication is great. The home is clean,
modern and the food is very good, no complaints from dad. I cannot say enough about Trinity Fold and its staff.

My sister stayed at Trinity Fold for two weeks' of respite care. All the staff were very kind and helpful and looked after her every need. It was her first time in a care home so she was apprehensive, but from the moment we arrived she felt welcomed and relaxed. Lovely room and good food. Thank you

Mum transferred here from another care home, the staff went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition and have allowed mum to have her own daily routine. Each member of staff is very friendly and approachable. The care and compassion witnessed so far is outstanding.

Overall I think this is a great care home, my dad went in for respite and was happy to stay permanently.
He loves the home made food, especially when he gets seconds of puddings!
The rooms are a good size, all ensuite. The garden area is nice too with good quality furniture.
My only gripe (which
is probably more to do with the younger generation in general) is seeing staff on their mobiles and ignoring the residents.

Twice we have used Trinity Fold to provide respite care for my father after stays in hospital. The staff have always made my father feel welcome and well cared for with dignity, and have shown flexibility when dealing with special needs. Accommodation has always been clean and well-maintained.

Overall we found the care to be excellent. Our mother has been there for 8 months and the more you begin to see behind the scene, the more you begin to realise how well the residents are checked and looked after. This cannot be an easy task, but they have lots of systems in place to monitor their well-being.
They even sent a person with her when she was taken to hospital.
I would agree with a previous comment about name badges. As we visited regularly and knew many of the staff's faces, it would be really helpful if the staff wore their name badges. It is so much more friendly to be able to use a name. Sadly our memories are not as good as they were, and it feels bad as a visitor to keep asking for a name! As visitors, we were always made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff for looking after our mother, she was not always an easy person to deal with.

Overall a good, friendly caring home. The staff are attentive and kind. Sometimes it's difficult to acknowledge staff for their caring as not all wear name badges. Just with their first names would help. When managers are not on shift, difficult to know who's taking the lead when 2 to 3 team leaders
are on duty. A board with a name would help with communication.

Right from the first registering interest on the website to moving Dad in, the experience and care has been made easy by the management and staff at this care home. I can't give them enough praise. It's not the easiest decision moving a parent into care but Trinity have gone above and beyond to make
the process as painless and uncomfortable as I felt.
I would definitely recommend anyone to consider the home for their loved ones.

My wife was a resident in Trinity Fold for nearly three years and her treatment there was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She suffered from vascular dementia and pulmonary problems and was subject to panic attacks. They gave her access to the resident's lounge which she found most beneficial.
She was prone to infections and made quite a few visits to the hospital but always bounced back fairly quickly. The last year of her life (died on 18/03/2024) was only achieved due to her absolute bravery and determination.

The staff are incredibly caring, my father regards Trinity Fold as home, which often is difficult when they have had their own homes for so long. I can't fault the attention that my dad receives especially at a stage in life when normal activities become more difficult.

Excellent care, positive attitude and seem well staffed. Liaise with family when necessary and always seem on the ball if you ask any questions. My mother has been there for over two years and she does see it as home.

Our Mother went into Trinity Fold over a year ago now. We looked long and hard for a home that could deal with Mum's dementia and other health issues.
It took us as a family of three daughters time to get used to our mother being in a care home, however, the level of care and the friendliness and professionalism
of all staff has been fantastic.
The management and care staff always listen to our queries and consult with us at all stages when there is an issue regarding Mum's care.
We would have no qualms recommending to anyone needing care for a relative.
