Trinity Fold

Due to a number of issues at our uncle's property, which meant he was unable to remain at home while essential repairs were carried out, we suddenly found ourselves needing to arrange emergency respite care for him. We had only a couple of days to find somewhere suitable and at that stage we had no idea how long he would need to stay. Following a recommendation, we contacted Trinity Fold Care Home in Halifax, part of the Anchor Hanover Group and from our very first contact we were met with incredible kindness, understanding and support. Christine, the Home Manager and Paul, the Home Administrator, went above and beyond to accommodate our uncle at very short notice and to make what was an extremely difficult and distressing situation so much easier for all of us. Their compassion, reassurance and willingness to help were quite simply exceptional. That same level of care has continued throughout his stay, thanks to the wonderful management and all of the care staff. Thank you so much.

I can't recommend this lovely home enough. All staff are fantastic, friendly and very caring while doing a v.hard job. Mum had her 90th B/day for family &friends. All staff went above and beyond. Fabulous buffet and decorated in dining room, banner & balloons. A lovely time was had by all!! WONDERFUL!!! THANK YOU. XX

All the staff were friendly kind and caring to both my mum and dad. The care given was was excellent. The staff welcomed us all to visit. Mum was well looked after and they ensured that all her needs were met. What a lovely home with lovely staff. From the manager who heads a very loyal brilliant team. Thank you for the respite and thank you for looking after dad as well as mum.

This was our first experience of respite and I felt I could leave dad and not worry ,he was safe and cared for while I was away.

Extremely happy with the care given. All the staff from the Admin team, team leaders, care girls, catering and domestic crew were very friendly but also very professional. Its a hard decision to put a well loved parent into care even for a short spell. Felt very comfortable leaving mum in their care, knowing she would be well looked after and all her needs addressed. Although she remained in her room apart from meals (her choice) she enjoyed the lovely food and the care given. Many thanks, I would not hesitate to recommend Trinity Fold to anyone looking for a care home.

My uncle had stayed in two other care homes in a three month period but settled into Trinity Fold very easily. The staff, management were very helpful and cared for my uncle very well and dealt with his ongoing medical conditions respectfully seeking medical assistance when required. I would have no hesitation of recommending Trinity Fold to anyone seeking to find a caring home for their loved ones.

My mum has only been in Trinity Fold for 2 months but she has settled in well. Although reluctant to leave her room and 'join in' she seems very happy there. The staff are great and we are happy that she is safe and well looked after.

Mum has settled into Trinity Fold very quickly. She seems calm and restful. The staff interact and communicate with her. They are helpful, kind and compassionate. Everyone smiles and nothing is ever too much. Mum has high risk for falling and staff are aware and supervise her and help her to walk to the toilet and dining room. The home feels happy and full of energy. I haven't witnessed any activities yet.

Just wanted to thank all the staff regardless of their roles at Anchor Trinity Fold Halifax. I have been a visiting relative for a past few years and noticed that all the residents are well looked after, happy, clean and well catered for. I would highly recommend this care home to any family looking for a short term/long term stay the staff are unsung heroes for their care and support to everyone who steps through the door.

For over two years I have been coming along to Trinity Fold regularly to visit an aged friend. In that time she has been either in her Room or in the Communal Area. Many, many times have I seen staff interact with her, and with other residents. She is treated with every dignity, even when staff are busy. Having visited the elderly, or others in care, through many years, I have to say that the standard at Trinity Fold is remarkably high. Several times I have observed awkward situations with residents, and on every occasion such incidents have been handled in an exemplary fashion, with patience and care. All staff seem approachable and friendly. Special events such as birthdays are treated with fun, and yet respect. Referring back to similar Care Homes I have visited, I have no doubt Trinity Fold is among the very best.

Dad has lived at Trinity Fold for 3 1/2 years. In that time the staff have treated him as family. The care is second to none, the staff are amazing, very caring, go the extra mile and very accommodating where they can. They have also supported me and the communication is great. The home is clean, modern and the food is very good, no complaints from dad. I cannot say enough about Trinity Fold and its staff.

My sister stayed at Trinity Fold for two weeks' of respite care. All the staff were very kind and helpful and looked after her every need. It was her first time in a care home so she was apprehensive, but from the moment we arrived she felt welcomed and relaxed. Lovely room and good food. Thank you to everyone.

Mum transferred here from another care home, the staff went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition and have allowed mum to have her own daily routine. Each member of staff is very friendly and approachable. The care and compassion witnessed so far is outstanding.

My only gripe (which is probably more to do with the younger generation in general) is seeing staff on their mobiles and ignoring the residents.

Twice we have used Trinity Fold to provide respite care for my father after stays in hospital. The staff have always made my father feel welcome and well cared for with dignity, and have shown flexibility when dealing with special needs. Accommodation has always been clean and well-maintained.

I would agree with a previous comment about name badges. As we visited regularly and knew many of the staff's faces, it would be really helpful if the staff wore their name badges. It is so much more friendly to be able to use a name. Sadly our memories are not as good as they were, and it feels bad as a visitor to keep asking for a name! As visitors, we were always made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff for looking after our mother, she was not always an easy person to deal with.

Was made welcome and wanted at all times from start of stay to finish. Excellent staff throughout. Keep up the good work.
