Anchor’s Trinity Fold, in Halifax, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 50 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle. It is located in central Halifax with the benefit of outdoor space.

The home strives to deliver a range of residential care services, including convalescence care, respite care, and long term care for those who can no longer look after themselves. Trinity Fold continues to welcome new residents.

The care team gets to know customers and works with them to arrange stimulating activities both in the care home and the local community, according to individual and group interests.

Each customer’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle and care requirements. Customers eat meals freshly cooked by the home’s catering colleagues. These are made from locally sourced seasonal ingredients wherever possible and observe dietary requirements and preferences.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Dad has only been there just over one month but so far we are very pleased with the home and its staff. He has settled really well and made some nice friends. We would highly recommend Trinity Fold for its care and support.

Mum went into Trinity Fold as a short-stay resident from the hospital and within a week she settled. Her health improved and as she said 'I feel safe and settled here'. Thankfully she is now a permanent resident. The staff are all so lovely, kind and respectful to Mum and me. All my friends and family
have commented on what a lovely home it is.

Mum has settled in, she has a lovely room and is being cared for. The staff are amazing and caring and have a good sense of humour. The meals are very good and Mum is eating much better, the family agree that it is a good place for Mum to be.

I would highly recommend Trinity Fold. Mum was a resident from August 2021 until she died in February 2023. The quality of care that she received throughout her time at Trinity Fold was amazing. Mum had Alzheimer's and also physical needs, but she was treated with outstanding care and dignity by all
staff. From our first meeting, we were impressed with the manager who said 'If it were my Mum or Dad then I would want ...'. That attitude ran throughout the home in the compassionate attitude and loving approach.
Dad visited Mum most days. The staff looked after him too, giving him a hug when needed, a cup of tea or a listening ear.
Mum was on end-of-life care for four days and I will never forget the way this was done by the wonderful staff. They treated Mum with dignity and love and ensured that she was always as comfortable as possible. They also supported us throughout this time.
Trinity Fold is a clean, well-decorated and furnished care home with a fantastic level of care.

We were very pleased with the care home upon our first visit, far better than expected, I was quite impressed overall. Friendly and caring staff, you could not wish for better, the home itself is very modern and clean and a convenient location. It's somewhere you would wish to be cared for if you ever
needed it yourself. It would be my choice.

It has been a great relief to have Mum cared for by the staff at Trinity Fold. The staff are kind, and the standard of care is high. It took some time for Mum to settle, but she tells me she is happy, and most importantly, she feels safe.

My Dad has been in Trinity Fold for just over 3 years now in which time he has been very well cared for and seems quite happy both with the residents and the staff. The home is very clean and I'm told the food is good so I can highly recommend Trinity Fold.

It's really good to know that my mum is in good hands at the care home, especially as due to her mental health, we cannot be in contact anymore. I receive a check-in call periodically and I can contact them anytime for an update on her wellbeing. She has gained a little weight since moving into the
home so the food must be good (she's very fussy). Pleased to see updates on social media about activities etc, but they are a bit sporadic, more regular updates/photos would be good, particularly as in my case, this is one of the only ways I can see my mum. All the members of staff I have met have been extremely kind and helpful, in short, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The staff of Trinity Fold are very polite and professional. The care and support given to my great-grandma and grandad are to a very high standard. It is easy for myself and my great-grandparents to get along with the staff, and I have seen firsthand that my great-grandparents have built up trusted

My father has vascular dementia as well as other health issues and went into Trinity Fold for respite as it was difficult for my mum to care for him. Dad was enjoying the home and as a family, we made the decision to let dad stay. The staff have been excellent and the communication with the team has
been extremely helpful in making this difficult decision. My dad says the food is terrific and he enjoys taking part in the sing along and playing games such as dominoes. We are really happy with the care teams and can’t thank them enough.

We placed my mum into Trinity Fold on 2nd October 2021. Initially for respite care (open-ended) to see how she coped with being looked after 24/7 as she has always been a very independent and private person. Within a few weeks, we noticed how much she had improved. Her mobility, communication, physicality,
weight and mental abilities had noticeably grown. As such, my brothers and I took the decision, as she had seemed to have settled into home life, for her to become a full-time resident at the end of February 2022. We cannot praise highly enough, from what we have experienced, the care and support that Mum has received from the staff and management which has clearly improved her quality of life. Unfortunately, Covid restrictions have placed a very difficult burden on everyone, at the home, including close family who have been very much restricted in their interaction with their loved one. However, the home has gone out of its way to make sure that residents were kept as safe as possible.

I went for a weeks respite and found the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The call button in my room worked well and so I was able to get help whenever I needed it. I find this facility extremely important particularly when I'm in bed, as I become fully dependent when I'm not in my power
wheelchair. Meals were very good and cooked daily by a chef in the kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have already booked another respite break.

My mum was a resident from 2017 until the end of May 2021. During this time she received excellent care. Staff were kind, friendly and approachable and my mum was always treated with dignity. Mum was encouraged to take part in activities for her enjoyment and mental health and her physical needs were
well taken care of. We cannot thank the staff enough for their care, dedication and professionalism during the Covid restrictions and it was very comforting to know she was being cared for to the best of their ability during this difficult time. The care and support that was given to my mum and to us at the end of her life was wonderful, Mum was cared for as a treasured member of the community and that meant the world to us.

My mother was initially placed in Trinity Fold as part of an her assessment to decide her long term needs. She had stayed at Trinity Fold for a short time previously, following a period in hospital. Despite the circumstances, she was delighted to be returning. My mother knew how well she had been cared
for previously and remembered the care and attention she had received from the staff team there. My mother is now settling into becoming a full-time resident at Trinity Fold and could not be happier. My brothers and I are so pleased that our mother will be able to live her latter years in an environment that is safe and secure. An environment where she feels her needs are being met by an outstanding and professional staff team. The home liaises well with my brothers and I. They keep us up-to-date with changes my mother is experiencing and are sensitive to all her needs.

My dad moved into the care home after needing more care than home carers could provide. He wasn't too happy about the move, to be honest, but has settled in well. He says all the carers are nice and the food is good. As it was during the pandemic, I've not actually been inside the home properly and
not seen his room yet, but he says it is comfortable. He seems very happy and more secure than he did whilst in his own home.

Mom had been living with us for 5-months when she began falling. My dad had been a resident of the home until June 2020, and his treatment was exceptional. Following discussions with Mom, she agreed it was time for her to receive 24-hour care.
Although Mom was only in Trinity Fold for a short time,
her care was as excellent as my dad's despite the Covid restrictions in place.
The staff are very caring, friendly and professional at all times.
I cannot thank each and every staff member enough for taking care of my mom and supporting myself at the end.

After several falls and home carers four times a day, my 94-year-old dad went into the hospital. The hospital said his new 'normal' was low, and he went into Trinity Fold for assessment in June 2020. He became a resident in July 2020.
As it was well into the Coronavirus pandemic, we were not allowed
into the home to look around. He soon settled in. He was happy, safe, warm, well-fed, and he and we knew it was the best place he could be. The staff and carers really looked after him 24 x7, and he loved being looked after. We often talked on his phone, and he said the meals were lovely, especially the sponge puddings.
I managed to visit a few times and found the home clean, fresh and friendly. He was clean and obviously very well looked after too.
Dad drank several pints of milk a day, and the staff always got him some at any time. They were so kind and patient with him.
Unfortunately, he became really ill recently and passed away. The carers and nurses were amazing with him and with me.

My Mother has been a resident since March 2020. This has been a difficult time in view of the Covid pandemic but we have been impressed by the home's response and the priority given to the wellbeing of the residents. Although we have not been able to visit her, the app has been made available and arrangements
have been made for video calls. We have every confidence that she is being well looked after.

Trinity Fold is the perfect home for my mother who suffered a severe stroke several years ago. The staff are always helpful and available if there are any questions or queries. The facilities are excellent and the home is located close to the town centre and transport links. During the time that my
mother has been at the home, they have had no issues with adapting to her increasing needs.
