Anchor’s Larchfield is located at the heart of the Hunslet community in Leeds. The home provides compassionate residential and dementia care for up to 40 residents in single ensuite rooms. The home enjoys good road and public transport links. Staff receive regular training to ensure their approach reflects best practice for those living with dementia. Anchor's Dementia Care Team achieved the Outstanding Dementia Care Innovation for their Anchor Inspires Programme and the use of iPads at the Dementia Care Awards in 2015.
The dedicated care team takes the time to get to know the individual and works with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met.
Anchor has almost 50 years' experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people and was voted one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in 2016.
