My Mam has received brilliant care and all her needs attended to, we as a family have always been kept up to date on any new procedures or any changes to my mam's care, from my mam taking residency at Cranlea has been the best and safest care for her. Her ability to look after herself solo was not an
option and had to be decided quick as she deteriorated mentally and physically quick. However she has settled into her new home very well, her well bing is better. We have had no problems to address at all. The staff are very approachable and caring.

My wife has been in Palmersdene since July 2023. She has settled in well and is happy in herself. She is well cared for. The staff are all very friendly. Her room is always clean. The food is varied. I cannot fault Palmersdene Care Home. They have a great team looking after all the residents. I go to
see my wife at the care home, knowing when I go home she is safe and well looked after.

We are always greeted by staff who are able to inform us of Mum's health and how she has been emotionally. All staff speak to her when passing. They show a good knowledge of mum, not only her condition, but her personality, likes and dislikes. Staff monitor her food and drink intake, and they act immediately
with supplements. We are so pleased Mum was able to be offered a place at Cranlea.

Before coming to Cranlea Mam was previously at another care home. It was our first experience with the care system but it soon became apparent that the care she was receiving was in no way good enough and we moved her. Now at Cranlea the improvement has been 100%. We have all been welcomed as a family
and feel involved with the day to day goings on. The staff are caring & friendly and, very quickly knew our names. Food has improved vastly - everything great!

My mother went to live at Northbourne in February 2024. She has settled well and enjoys the choir every Thursday and also the entertainment. The staff are really good and are always engaged with the residents. There is always a lovely atmosphere when I go and visit and mam has made lots of friends.
I know I can go home knowing mam is safe and looked after. The meals are always gorgeous and a good selection keep up the good work team.

I cannot overstate how pleased we are, as a family with the care mum has received at Palmersdene. The staff are very professional, clearly well trained and very friendly. The management are visible and approachable and always available to discuss any concerns. Medical issues are picked up on quickly,
dealt with immediately and monitored carefully. The home is always spotlessly clean. Food is freshly prepared and a good choice of meals is offered. What more can I say? Mum is happy.

I've lived here for over two years I love the staff. Bit I like my independence so I do go out a lot visiting friends and family and my lovely friend and sometimes husband. They have a lot of activities going on. If I need help with anything the staff are always there for me.

Found this to be an excellent care home. The home was always clean, so were all the residents and there was never a smell. The staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and always seemed happy in what must be a hard job. They always talk to the residents and visitors and always said if anything
they can help with to let them know. My aunt was never happy and said the food was very good. The entertainment and activities were great. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cranlea to others.

Lovely place.
Friendly approachable staff.
My aunt has lived at Cranlea for around 3 years and we are so happy with how she is cared for. She especially enjoyed a visit from a New Castle Football Player in the 90's, lots going on within the care home for people to join in with.
