Westhill Park

Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I continue to be impressed with the levels of care provided at Westhill Park. My elderly mother has advanced dementia and therefore requires much assistance with her routine. This care is provided with professionalism, warmth and generosity of spirit. From my perspective, I am able to feel totally
confident that my mother is cared for at all times of the day. Furthermore, should there be a need for any communication between Westhill Park and me, then I am always kept fully informed and in a timely manner. I also value the online relatives' gateway facility which provides detailed and up-to-date notes about my mother and this means that I can seek information remotely and at all times.

25th March was Bluey Day. My granddaughter was invited to join in the fun filled celebrations. Bluet and Bingo are favorites in our house so you can imagine how excited she was. She had an amazing day , her great grandmother ( a resident )joined us so more memories made. . Bluey and Bingo made a fuss
of all the children. There were lots of small toys in the room and the staff laid on an awesome table of food with fantastic Bluey and Bingo cakes. In the afternoon all the residents got to meet these wonderful characters and had a photo taken. Westhill staff, you made my granddaughter a very happy girl. She still asks if Bluey will be there when we visit. So many thanks to you all for a wonderful day.

The home put on a Breakfast With Bluey experience in the cinema room for resident's families. I attended with my grandchildren and my daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was plentiful and delicious and catered for all tastes. Also the character costumes were great and they really
entertained all the children. The home always makes us and the children feel welcome anytime of the day.

My mother-in-law has been resident for over 3 years. She has now passed away but over the time she seemed happy and content to be in the care of Timken Grange. Her health deteriorated fairly rapidly and the staff assisted by Marie Curie cared for her and made her passing peaceful and calm for the family
members present.

Priors Hall

from L H (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The care provided by Priors led by the manager and supported by another member of staff is professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. The support given to me with my Mum gives me confidence and comfort that she is being looked after as if she is their family. The manager has been instrumental in
keeping the Priors reputation strong and in the forefront within the Corby community. The management team work hard to include the local community where possible in events within the home which is one of the best adverts they can have. Mum is so well looked after by the team of carers - the manager sets high standards which they strive to achieve.

Timken Grange

from A S (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5

The home is very well kept and very clean, although a bit like a hotel, not very homely. The residents seem well cared for. Most staff are friendly and kind to the residents.. Lots of activities, however some are quite extravagant ignoring more basic, simpler ones. Nice south facing garden which
could be beautiful, but doesn't seem to get used much. Whilst my mum appears well cared for it's sad that the things she enjoyed most in life are not made available to her at Timken Grange although I have asked on many occasions. My mum is certainly being looked after well, but not sure she is really living. Whenever I visit the dementia floor everyone is just sitting, but I hoped for a little more from Timken Grange, whilst I am not unhappy with the care at the moment it feels expensive if mum is going to spend most of her time sitting on her own and not getting to enjoy the simple pleasures which have been important to her all her life.

Reply from Louise Mulvany, Manager at Timken Grange

Thank you for reviewing Timken Grange and we are pleased you rate our cleanliness as excellent. We're pleased that you feel your mum is well cared for and is being well looked after. Thank you for discussing your feedback with us. Our residents input into our activities programme to ensure group and individual pastimes are as everyone wishes.

Bilton Court

from Alex C (Daughter of Resident) published on 11 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My dad has been at Bilton Court for over a year. He initially went there for respite as he was unwell and needed care. He recovered his health and decided to stay. He loves being cared for even more than he loved his independence and it leaves him with more energy for social activities. He still uses
a taxi to go out and meet friends and goes to his day care once a week as he loves to see his friends there too. He often expresses how safe he feels and that he has everything he could possibly want; good food, comfort and a beautiful view from his window. The carers even arranged an outing just for dad to one of his favourite places. He feels safe and valued. It is lovely to hear from him how happy he is. He is 95 years old and is receiving the best care he could have from a wonderful team. We are always made welcome when we visit. I would recommend this care home to anyone, so much so that at least one of dad's friends will join him here soon.

Nan spent nearly 3-and-a-half years at Timken Grange and we could not have asked for better care for her. The staff were caring and patient throughout even when her dementia made her difficult or angry. There were always activities taking place that she was encouraged to be part of and she enjoyed the
food and tipple trolley!! Her room was clean and cost as were the other areas and I know she enjoyed being in the lounge for the company of others. Thank you to all at Timken Grange for the work you do.

The staff at Priors Hall are compassionate and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable and valued. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and equipped for a safe and enjoyable environment.
The activities are diverse and engaging, promoting both physical and
mental well-being. It's heartwarming to see residents participating and enjoying themselves.
My mum was a Dementia resident at Priors Hall for 3 years and sadly passed away on December 24. During her final weeks, the care she received was exceptional. The carers showed immense compassion and supported our family during the most difficult times. Special thanks must go the team for their kindness.
Priors Hall genuinely feels like home, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.
Thank you, Priors Hall team, for everything.
