The staff here have been excellent. They are so great with dad and have made the transition to full time residential care so supportive for us all. In a short time we have noticed an improvement in dad and he is really enjoying life here. We are so pleased with the team! Thank you!

In the last month my mother starting a rapid decline and sadly passed away at the home. The support that all caring staff provided during that period was exceptional. Their love and care for our family has been greatly appreciated. They are continuing to support my father with respect and understanding during a very difficult time.

The staff are extremely helpful, clearly do care for the residents and try their very best to provide a happy and inclusive environment for all.

The activities are fun and there is a variety on offer

This is a wonderful home for our father, who is 90 and has Alzheimer's. The staff are highly professional, skilled, patient and kind. There is an excellent range of activities and the quality of the food is really good. I heartily recommend Glenvale!

My dad recently moved into this care home, and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive for both him and our family. The staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely caring - not just in the practical support they provide, but in the way they speak to him, include him, and make him feel valued.The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and full of warmth. Every time I visit, I see small moments of kindness that reassure me he's in the right place. He's comfortable, well looked after, and treated with real dignity.It's never easy placing a loved one in care, but the team here have made that transition so much easier. I'm truly grateful for the compassion they show him every day.

The care that my dad receives from everyone at Glenvale is excellent, they do a wonderful job. The whole team are dedicated and caring and always working with us to ensure he is looked after well. As a family we feel we can discuss anything with them and have a great rapport.

We only have positive feedback for Overstone House. From being shown around to the assessment and Mum moving in everything has been fantastic. The whole experience has been faultless, all the staff are lovely and have made the transition for Mum a truly wonderful experience. We couldn't wish for a better place for our Mum.

My father has been a resident at Timken Grange for the last two and a half years.

During that time, I've had the pleasure of getting to know the management and staff, and I can honestly say they are an amazing team. The home itself is beautifully presented, exceptionally clean, and furnished to a very high standard. It always feels welcoming and well cared for.

I spend a lot of time with my father, and whenever we need to discuss anything about his care or simply ask a question, there is always someone available to talk to. As a family, we feel genuinely supported and have complete trust in Timken Grange, knowing that our dad is being cared for with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Over the years we've enjoyed so many wonderful events alongside the staff and residents. From Easter egg hunts, summer fêtes, Christmas dinners, birthday celebrations, Halloween parties and Remembrance Day commemorations, to many other occasions. Every event is thoughtfully planned and brings so much joy.

We are very happy this is Mum's home.

My mum came into Westhill Park for respite care, initially after a spell in hospital and finding that she was not coping well with routine tasks at home. We had a visit from the Deputy Manager who asked lots of questions and mum was admitted 2 days later which was a great relief to myself to know that she would be safe and looked after. Her room was modern, with a wet room facility and tv. She had a view of the A14 which kept her in contact with the outside world but beyond that were fields of sheep. From the very beginning all the staff were very welcoming from the seniors who dispensed her medication and who cared for her health needs to the laundry staff who labelled and located her washing when needed. She was able to choose her meals and was treated with respect by all staff. The reception staff were very friendly and caring and ready to help with any queries. The home offers entertainment and those staff worked hard to include mum in various activities throughout the week.

I cannot thank them enough knowing that David is in good hands taking care of all his needs. In hospital the palliative care team he only had days/weeks to live, but now he is back in the home he looks like a different person.

Following a recent health scare, I spent some time in respite care and had a very positive experience. I was encouraged to remain as independent as possible, doing what I could for myself whilst receiving support for the things I found more difficult. There were plenty of activities to join if you wanted to, which helped create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. The meals were excellent with a good variety of choice and the quality of care was outstanding. The staff were kind, attentive and there when I needed them, making me feel safe, supported, and well looked after throughout my stay.

I would highly recommend Glenvale Park Care Home to anyone looking for a caring, supportive, and friendly environment for their loved one.

The food, he said, was fabulous and he was able to have some laughs along the way. It's certainly not easy putting your trust in others to look after your loved one but am so glad that I did. Great experience. Thankyou
