My husbands auntie as been with you guys for around three years, she arrived very thin and we didn't expect her to last long . Now she put on loads of weight ( for the better) you call us for any and every need!! She looks so well and she is thriving and loving her last few years left. She hated her picture being taken yet there she is in the photos . Her hair and nails being done . You really are a great home and highly recommend. Thank you so very much x

FANTASTIC PLACE. My mum has been at August Court since Oct 25. She settled in very quickly , enjoys the daily activities, social company & freshly prepared / cooked food.
Her room is light & airy with ensuite bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of cupboard space.
More importantly SAFETY is important & they have sensor mats and monitors to alert staff if a resident gets up through the night.
Staff are all amazingly caring, have a smile on their faces & are positive plus nothing is too much trouble. The management team are very helpful & responsive. Magda the Manager is very cheerful, approachable and super efficient. She has a good relationship with her team which I think is why there is such a positive atmosphere in the place.

I am so glad we were able to get mum placed here. It is the best place I visited out of many care homes.

This is a wonderful home, with caring staff and a highly effective team liaising between all the different health agencies and myself and my family. They are wonderful at forming relationships with residents and family members. Their care and management of my mother when she returned after a long stay in hospital was exemplory. It is a great relief to know that Mum is so well looked after.

I suffer from dementia and have been a resident for over 10 years. Throughout my life here, I have nothing but praise for all levels of staff and the service they provide. Over the years, changes in care home resignations have resulted in a considerable increases in workloads. This needs a review on staffing levels across all disciplines as it does impact on staff health and absintism and work achievement. Augusta is a multinational happy home which does need to maintain its high reputation.

Thankyou for your comments which are duly noted. It is an honour and a privilege to support you with your care needs at Augusta Court. So grateful to the staff and management for looking after my father from October 25 up to his up to his hospital stay in Feb.

He settled nicely and thrived on the attention and whilst he slept in the afternoons a lot, he joined in activities in things he would never been able to do at home, getting the best from the final months of his life. Thank you everyone. And loved the food!

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident at Silver Court since November 2024. Due to her dementia, she was very resistant to change and leaving her own home so the first few months were extremely trying. However, due to the care and patience of the entire team at Silver Court, Mum has never been happier and now refers to all of the staff as her best friends and continually tells me how she loves them all and how kind they are.

Mums health has deteriorated since moving to Silver Court due to her dementia and the team have managed it with such professionalism. They have helped me understand the different stages and ensured that mums safety is the number one priority including extra reviews with the GP, walking frame assessments, changes to her room set up to prevent falling out of bed and so much more.

It is fun to get involved in the activities & coffee mornings which always involve music & very often some dancing too!

I would recommend Silver Court to anyone looking for a care home.

Overall Experience
Our relative was in Augusta Court for about 7 months before recently passing away. We are not local but were able to visit her recently for a few days. We could see that the staff were kind, attentive and caring, happy to make adjustments as required as the situation changed and dealing appropriately with all the residents and their varying needs. I found their care and compassion towards the end of life to be excellent.

The care home itself is clean, bright and welcoming. We were there around Easter and there were lovely decorations. We also saw the team running activities for all those who wanted to be involved and noted the security around access very thorough. We had a meal one lunchtime at the home and it was very tasty.

Overall Experience
Mum was a resident at Silver Court for three and a half years, until her passing in February. During that time, her dementia progressed and included some challenging behaviour. Throughout it all, the staff were wonderful in supporting Mum, and we as a family were kept well informed. Living close by meant we were able to be closely involved in her care, and we always felt welcomed whenever we visited.
The home was consistently clean and bright and Mum was never reluctant to return after an outing, which we found very reassuring.

Towards the end of Mum's life, the staff were truly exceptional. They supported my sister and me so thoughtfully, and were so kind and gentle with Mum. It became a very special time, despite the sadness. The last week before she passed was especially precious, as we were able to stay overnight with her and share some deeply meaningful moments together.I am so grateful to Silver Court and all the staff who made Mum's final years so supported and dignified.

My mother has been really well cared for by the friendly, attentive people working in Silver Court. She was discharged from hospital with more nursing needs than any of us expected and all the staff there have done their very best to look after her and provide her with great company. She is so much happier there than in hospital and I'm relieved that she's being so well cared for and showing improved health.

Always a warm welcome at Augusta Court. The Home Manager and her team are courteous, efficient and above all friendly. My mother has been a resident at the home for two years and, although her Alzheimer's is progressing, states that she is very happy there. As a family we are able to relax in the knowledge that our mother's needs are being met.

Our mum, has dementia and is a resident of Silver Court for a year and a half now.
She is happy and settled and extremely well looked after. She has regained all the weight she lost prior to her admission, her general health has been very good. She is content in her surroundings, she is always warm and comfortable.
We are so impressed with the kindness of all the staff, from the reception staff, office staff, housekeepers and nursing staff.
We have been updated without prompting on issues regarding mum, staff referring mum to the GP whenever necessary.
She enjoys the food at her meal times and the snacks offered between.
The staff are so attentive and encourage mum to have extra fluids when she needs it.
I can only imagine how hard it is for staff to care for patients with dementia, but they never show it; what a skill.

The varied entertainment and activities provided is fantastic.

My sister and I would like to say 'thank you' to all the staff at Silver Court for their understanding, compassion and kindness shown towards our mum when she started her residency at Silver Court in November. It was a big change for her and our family and mum is settling into her new environment well. We feel this has been achieved because of the above support given to her. Silver Court provides a caring place with weekly events which mum can choose to get involved with as and when she wants to. We, as a family, feel supported by the staff too.

After viewing many homes I was very lucky to find this wonderful home. I would fully recommend this home for your loved ones. The care they receive is the best.

I want to share my appreciation for the for the dedication, compassion, dignity, and kindness shown to my father during his 3.5 year stay at Silver Court.
I remember over 3 years ago walking through the doors that we had found a place where my father could be well cared for and respected. The environment was always warm and welcoming to both residents and visitors alike from day one and it never faltered. Silver Court was only the second care home we visited but I couldn't see any others that would be better, and I was right with my instincts.
I know my father wasn't happy being removed from his home but from the moment he arrived at Silver Court it made an immeasurable difference to his life, and we know that he quickly became happy, settled and stopped feeling lonely and safe. The environment feels a true home away from home and the atmosphere is lovely.

If I could give Silver Court ten stars I would. I recommend this care home for anyone struggling to live safely on their own.
