My mother is very well looked after which makes it easier for me to fill another role in my life 'being a grandparent'. It is also great that there is a weekly GP visit as there ahs just been a chest infection and antibiotics have been administered. The staff are very friendly and I trust them.

Heyberry House has a warm, welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. My husband enjoyed his respite there, allowing myself, as his main carer, to know he was in a safe environment and being well looked after. His stay there allowed me to recharge my batteries to enable me to continue caring for him at home after
his respite.
All the staff are very professional and caring.

Staff are so friendly & welcoming. They have not only helped & supported my mum settling in quickly, but they also supported us as a family to navigate things practically & emotionally. Thank you so much. Mum has settled in really quickly & she appreciated so much the effort staff put in to making Upton
Grange feel like home, especially with her garden area. Thank you for everything.

Mum aged 91 (a reluctant resident at first) has settled very well into her new surroundings. This has been largely due to the emathetic, friendly, efficient and experienced staff. As a family we have been hugely impressed with level of care and communication.

My mum came to Heyberry House in January 2023, following a long stay in hospital due to a fractured hip and sepsis. She was only six stone and could hardly stand up, even with a walker.
The staff at Heyberry have taken exceptional care of my mum in the last three and a half years. She regained her
weight over the next 12 months thanks to the delicious food and was encouraged to socialise in the lounge and to enjoy the lovely garden.
There has been continuity in my mum's care as the staff do not change very much - they know my mum and she knows them, which is very important. They have been respectful, kind and patient with my mum, even when she is expressing her (sometimes very strong) opinions.
Her 90th birthday was very special as we had family in the conservatory and the chefs at Heyberry made my mum a cake, to be shared with everyone living and working there. Since then her mobility has seriously reduced, but my mum continues to receive the highest quality of care. Thank you all

After a lengthy hospital stay my brother needed a place to support him, whilst allowing him to retain his independence. After a search of care homes in the area it seemed like Thomas Henshaw Court was the perfect fit, The individual flats are well thought out, bright and spacious and the communal areas
are clean and welcoming. My brother has a a large bed/sitting room, a small kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and kettle, and a generous wet room.
Since the beginning of his residency he has been supported, cared for and wonderfully well looked after by the incredible staff. His special dietary needs have been met, his medications overseen and his other support needs have been handled with great attention to detail and kindness.
My brother has now lived at Thomas Henshaw Court for many years, he considers it his home and the staff are like his extended family. We are very grateful to know he is safe and has all the support he needs.

My mum has lived at Heyberrt for over 10 years now. I have got to know the staff very well. I have seen them go above and beyond in recent times, and they are extremely hard working anf considerate.
My brothers and I are glad we chose Heyberry, it was the best decision for our mum.
I have also seen
lots of changes in management, but hopefully, Sarah is here to stay.

After having to look for somewhere for my mum to to be cared for was a daunting process. It wasn't easy letting go of everything I was used too and putting my trust into a home with staff who didn't know mum.
How can you find the right home with good staffing numbers which covered her care needs as
well as an activity program. How can you pack a life time of belongings into 1 room and have your own bathroom with walk in shower and kitchette and how could I trust somewhere wash and iron her clothes like I did.
Thomas Henshaw Court has exelled my expectations and it's hard to put into words how I feel.
ALL staff are dedicated compassionate and caring and go above and beyond and are there for both mum and me. Mum gets cuddles, banter, laughs, outings, activities, lovely food, perfectly laundered clothes and reassurance when she's upset and confused.
Every time I walk out of Thomas Henshaw I think how lucky I am that my precious mum is in the right place.

My mother was admitted to Hurst Park Court in December 2025. In the short time that she was there, she was happy, felt safe and secure. The staff there were compassionate and caring, making my mother feel a sense of belonging and valued. I would like to thank everyone at Hurst Park Court for looking
after my mother with dignity, ensuring she was clean and content.

I went to the care home to celebrate Mother's Day this year, with my mum who is a resident there, she has dementia so taking her out with my young children, can be very stressful. The staff put on the most amazing celebration, the dining room was beautifully decorated, we had a lovely high tea, with
table service and lots of treats. It was so relaxing, I only had to turn up and everything was done for us. There was even a gift for every resident on their table, there was a table reserved for those who had booked, it was like going out to a fancy restaurant but better, as mum was safe and relaxed and we could all just enjoy our time together. The staff are incredible so hard working with so much energy, I don't know how they do it, they genuinely love their job. Thank you to all the staff for putting the event on and working so hard to make it special for everyone, I really appreciate it and had the best time and we will definitely be booking next year if it's on.

My husband has been in Birkenhead Court for 17 months. He is quite happy here he quite often wants to come home but he is always happy to please the staff and he will say he is going to stay. He really likes his room. I think he spends a lot of time in the office but the staff don't seem to mind. So

A fantastic care home where my dad currently lives. It's so hard putting your dad in a care home. Something you never have to want to do!
But putting him in Birkenhead Court has made things so much easier. Why - it's the staff. They really do care about people and my dad.
