Have always found the staff to be very obliging, caring, efficient, and their relationship with the residents is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Been visiting our friend regularly for 10 months now and have never witnessed anything other than first class care of the residents. Am
very happy that our friend is living in such a supportive and caring environment.

This was Arthur's 3rd period of respite care in Kingfisher Court, which proves he was happy during his two previous stays. As of yesterday, 24.9.25, he has come again for 2 weeks' respite. If, or as and when the need arises, he needs permanent care, I know he will have no hesitation in coming to Kingfisher
Court if there is the capacity.

First time I have been involved in a care home environment and the experience has dispelled all my concerns as to what it would be like. All the staff I have been in contact with are friendly, approachable, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to provide a first-class service to residents and relatives..
No request is too difficult, insignificant or impossible. They make what must be a difficult workplace as pleasurable as possible. They always have a smile on their faces. The main areas and thoroughfares are kept clean, tidy, nicely furnished and decorated, giving a great first impression.

Generally, no problems in fact, most things are very good. Just a couple of concerns, i.e. quite a few items have gone 'missing' from rooms and some have never been found. The other thing relates to the number of trips out that the residents used to go on seems to have almost come to an end. Are there
trips - especially to church sing-along and the 'Hub' going to continue? Finally, the resident's toilet on Birch has been out of action for weeks. Is it ever going to be repaired.
Reply from Gaynor Smart-McCann, Manager at Kingfisher CourtThank you for taking the time to review Kingfisher Court and we are pleased that you rate our overall experience as very good. Our daily, weekly and monthly activities and events are arranged with our residents' input. We have a repair scheduled for the toilet this week. We're happy to discuss the matters raised directly, as we're keen to provide the best day-to-day experience and care for all our residents.

The care my mum received during her time at Kingfisher Court was excellent. The staff were kind, patient and treated her with dignity and respect. It was the best we could have hoped for. Staff were also thoughtful and kind to us as family members and helped answer any questions we had about mum's
care. It gave us great comfort to know she was safe and being looked after so well.

Having stayed here for 5 weeks I have given the care home 10 out of 10 because it is such a caring home. Everyone is so kind and friendly, the staff are excellent they 'pamper to our whims'. The food is exceptional and they are so good in all ways, helping, calming if upset and would go to the end of
the world if necessary.
