My father lived at the court for the last 33 months of his life. The staff that supported and cared for him , took the time to get to know him, enabling him, encouraging him and laughing with him.
Dad loved to have an joke and even when life became more challenging and he repeated the same joke multiple
times, they all reacted as though it was the first time they heard it, which made his day .
Clayburn court staff focus on what's important, not just delivery of a high standard of care but that each person is seen and treated as the individual they are.
Highly recommend.

Excellent staff, food choices are varied, plenty of activites for staff to engage with residents. Good communication by staff re care and special requests. Only improvement would be room of resident to be cleaned more frequently.

Reception staff friendly on greeting you and helpful if there is any issues.
I found resident is always clean and tidy and dressed according to the weather. Rooms and corridors always clean - smell fresh.
As this is a dementia home I am very surprised by the activities they get the residents to join
in with and entertainment they have visit the home.

The care home cannot be faulted.
We hear so much poor reports but this is so so different.
It is generally believed the residents wouldn't be alive now if she hadn't moved here.
Nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic home. Residents are well cared for and treated with love, respect and dignity. This home is so warm and welcoming. Mum had dementia and spent her final year here at Nelson Lodge and was extremely happy. Mum loved the range of activities organised for residents especially the singing and dancing
and the laugh she could have with the carers. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

My mum passed away sadly on 22 November at Nelson Lodge. The care and love my mum was given in her last few days was above and beyond I cannot thank everyone at Nelson Lodge enough. The care my mum was given in the two years she was there was amazing. They made her last two years the happiest and as
a family knowing she was happy and safe meant the world to her family.

My mother spent a few weeks at Clayburn Court as a respite service user. During her stay the care and compsssion attended to her was outstanding during her brief stay. I was very impressed with the staff reaction to the call bell being actioned where members of staff appeared within seconds. Staff
also attended at regular times throughout the day and night. Also rooms were clean, food was good and visitors welcomed at any time.

Our mum Joyce came to live at Clayburn Court on 17/12/23. Her care has been exemplary, despite the many issues that mum chooses to raise, which are for the most part unfounded. Care is taken to understand mum's likes and dislikes & her health issues are always dealt with quickly & efficiently. The staff
are efficient, hard working, and take their jobs very seriously.

My mum has been living at Clayburn Court for the past year and i honestly couldn't be more thankful for the care and support she receives everyday. She has dementia, but i can see she is happy, comfortable and content. That peace of mind means the world to me and my family.
What stands out is how well
the staff know my mum. They don't just care for her, they understand her. They know her routines, her personality and the little things that make her smile. This personnel connection makes such a difference, especially when someone is living with dementia. It is comforting to know she is surrounded by people who truly care about her as a person.
The home is very welcoming, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. When i visit my mum, i feel like i am walking into a family. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond.
Clayburn has been a blessing to our family and i would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for thoughtful, compassionate and professional care, for their loved one.

The home has a lovely atmosphere - I think the main reason for this is the lovely regular staff. It's clear that they really care for the residents, and it makes such a difference to them. I would like to say thank you to them. Fay is especially good with my mum, as well as Nathan, who is brilliant
with her & other residents, as well as the other staff (I'm sorry but I don't know their names).

The care my mother received from the staff at Nelson Lodge St Neots was outstanding. They were professional, and compassionate throughout her 2 years at the home. My mother had vascular dementia which became problematic toward the end but the staff showed real empathy and understanding, I cannot thank
