Anchor’s Clayburn Court is a purpose-built modern care home. It provides friendly care within a comfortable and relaxing environment. They are welcoming new residents from respite care and permanent care.

Clayburn Court has achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation and is proud to be able to provide tailored care for veterans.

The home is finished to the highest standard and benefits from impressive facilities for customers to enjoy, such as cosy quiet lounges, well-maintained secure gardens and a cafe. Each bedroom has an en suite wet room and underfloor heating as standard.

The home provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life. Detailed care plans ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met.

Staff receive regular training in dementia care to ensure their approach always reflects best practices.

My mother spent a few weeks at Clayburn Court as a respite service user. During her stay the care and compsssion attended to her was outstanding during her brief stay. I was very impressed with the staff reaction to the call bell being actioned where members of staff appeared within seconds. Staff
also attended at regular times throughout the day and night. Also rooms were clean, food was good and visitors welcomed at any time.

Our mum started full time residency Dec 2023. Her care & security are excellent. Great choice of food. Constant activities ensure residents engage with each other. Events are organised throughout the year. Both relatives & residents meetings are arranged regularly which gives us the opportunity to discuss
issues - good & bad. Good care on any medical issues.

Our mum Joyce came to live at Clayburn Court on 17/12/23. Her care has been exemplary, despite the many issues that mum chooses to raise, which are for the most part unfounded. Care is taken to understand mum's likes and dislikes & her health issues are always dealt with quickly & efficiently. The staff
are efficient, hard working, and take their jobs very seriously.

When my mother moved into Clayburn Court she was received by the staff with open arms. The communications from the team leaders and team was excellent. My mother has settled in and is really happy. I would recommend the residential care home.

My mum has been living at Clayburn Court for the past year and i honestly couldn't be more thankful for the care and support she receives everyday. She has dementia, but i can see she is happy, comfortable and content. That peace of mind means the world to me and my family.
What stands out is how well
the staff know my mum. They don't just care for her, they understand her. They know her routines, her personality and the little things that make her smile. This personnel connection makes such a difference, especially when someone is living with dementia.It is comforting to know she is surrounded by people who truly care about her as a person.
The home is very welcoming, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. When i visit my mum, i feel like i am walking into a family. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond.
Clayburn has been a blessing to our family and i would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for thoughtful, compassionate and professional care, for their loved one.

Fabulous home from home, residents are well cared for and treated with love and dignity. Encouraged to stay independent within their ability. Entertainment is great, lovely to see residents happy and engaged. Staff are amazing and always helpful. So glad my mum was offered a home here.

I've lived here for 19 months. I left my previous place because I was bored.
My family was apprehensive of me moving again but my daughter visited with me and said, yes mum this is more suited to you, plenty of entertainment and things to do. My 3 sons also visited and thought the home was marvellous
perfect for me. This is my 3rd care home and the only way I will now leave here is in a wooden box.
We have residents meetings and all departments attend and we can voice our issues if we have any and always get updates about our home.
I love it here and enjoy everything we do. Staff are friendly and helpful, they have tremendous patience. The activity lead is always thinking of new project for the home, started with the bar area and now we have a nail bar and our next project is the summer room / garden room and looking forward to our Christmas fayre in December all money raised goes to the amenities fund to help all the residents with more activities in and out of the home.

My mum moved in in October and her care has been fantastic. She has started walking, engaging with others, singing, which she hasn't done in months. She has even put on weight. Communication from everyone is first class. I have and will continue to recommend the home.

My mum is settled in brilliantly. The staff, from cleaners to management, are so kind and caring. The greeting at first port of call is done by one member of staff in particular, she greets with a happy hello. how are you and big smile and our visits to mum are so good knowing she is well cared for.

Since mum moved into the care home in October, she has had numerous falls which is not down to any fault of the staff, but due to her age and condition. The staff have been very caring and understanding. They have followed all the correct procedures and kept me well informed. It gives me great comfort
to know that mum is in such a caring environment and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Clayburn Court.

My elderly father transferred here as a private funder, after being assessed in the hospital Clayburn Court advised they would be able to fully meet his care needs. New to a care home setting he needed lots of encouragement and reassurance. He needed staff members to be friendly and approachable and
willing and happy to help, Staff that were going to put his health and wellbeing as their number one priority. My Dad needed his care needs to be dealt with with respect and dignity, in an environment where he would be encouraged to remain as independent as he possibly could, and where he would be fully included. He needed to be treated as an individual. My Dad needed to be cared for by staff who could be adaptable and flexible to support his needs. My Dad didn't get any of these things at Clayburn Court. His health and well-being declined greatly while he was a resident here. A care home that advertises itself as a dementia care home, should have been able to look after him better.

We as a family cannot speak highly enough of the care that our mother received, unfortunately, she only had a short time at Clayburn Court due to her passing away. She was always treated in the best possible way. Clayburn Court also showed the family caring support as mother's health diminished, honestly,
they couldn't have been any more caring and supportive to Mum and our family.
