I've lived here for 19 months. I left my previous place because I was bored.
My family was apprehensive of me moving again but my daughter visited with me and said, yes mum this is more suited to you, plenty of entertainment and things to do. My 3 sons also visited and thought the home was marvellous perfect for me. This is my 3rd care home and the only way I will now leave here is in a wooden box.
We have residents meetings and all departments attend and we can voice our issues if we have any and always get updates about our home.

I love it here and enjoy everything we do. Staff are friendly and helpful, they have tremendous patience. The activity lead is always thinking of new project for the home, started with the bar area and now we have a nail bar and our next project is the summer room / garden room and looking forward to our Christmas fayre in December all money raised goes to the amenities fund to help all the residents with more activities in and out of the home.

My mum moved in in October and her care has been fantastic. She has started walking, engaging with others, singing, which she hasn't done in months. She has even put on weight. Communication from everyone is first class. I have and will continue to recommend the home.

My mum is settled in brilliantly. The staff, from cleaners to management, are so kind and caring. The greeting at first port of call is done by one member of staff in particular, she greets with a happy hello. how are you and big smile and our visits to mum are so good knowing she is well cared for. As they say on a TV show - fabulous, amazing.

Since mum moved into the care home in October, she has had numerous falls which is not down to any fault of the staff, but due to her age and condition. The staff have been very caring and understanding. They have followed all the correct procedures and kept me well informed. It gives me great comfort to know that mum is in such a caring environment and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Clayburn Court.

My elderly father transferred here as a private funder, after being assessed in the hospital Clayburn Court advised they would be able to fully meet his care needs. New to a care home setting he needed lots of encouragement and reassurance. He needed staff members to be friendly and approachable and willing and happy to help, Staff that were going to put his health and wellbeing as their number one priority. My Dad needed his care needs to be dealt with with respect and dignity, in an environment where he would be encouraged to remain as independent as he possibly could, and where he would be fully included. He needed to be treated as an individual. My Dad needed to be cared for by staff who could be adaptable and flexible to support his needs. My Dad didn't get any of these things at Clayburn Court. His health and well-being declined greatly while he was a resident here. A care home that advertises itself as a dementia care home, should have been able to look after him better.

We as a family cannot speak highly enough of the care that our mother received, unfortunately, she only had a short time at Clayburn Court due to her passing away. She was always treated in the best possible way. Clayburn Court also showed the family caring support as mother's health diminished, honestly, they couldn't have been any more caring and supportive to Mum and our family.

Thank you again to all the staff at Clayburn Court.

During mum's stay she was treated with respect and, most of all, with care and kindness. I cannot rate the staff here highly enough. They were so kind, not only to mum, but also to us, her family, especially at the end of her life. The night staff deserve a mention too, as I witnessed their care for mum one night when I stayed with her in her room. The food was good too and the chef would willingly cook something special just for one resident if they asked for it. When we visited, we were made welcome and not made to feel we were in the way.

Clayburn staff always go the extra mile to make sure their V.I.P.s feel included in all activities as was shown in their very own Sports Week, the smiles on faces were proof of that. The opening of their very own Pub was another joyous occasion, with tribute act singers doing the honours of singing and entertaining everyone. Pleased that my Mother is in the care of such a kind and caring staff.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at Clayburn Court, Peterborough. It's hard to believe that Mum has been there for 10 months now. In all that time the carers have always treated her with care and kindness. There is always plenty going on and it has been lovely to see Mum singing along to the entertainers. The food is great and if Mum just wants sausage and chips then she can have it! I have never heard of a resident being treated with anything but respect and I think the carers do a fantastic job in difficult circumstances at times.

Mum is very happy at Clayburn Court. Her previous home shut down and she moved here about 2 years ago. We attended their early Mother's Day afternoon tea yesterday and it was brilliant. The catering team laid on a super spread and the care staff arranged a couple of quizzes which had everyone joining in plus supplying us with Prosecco and orange juice. All the mums seemed to have a lovely afternoon and before we knew it we had to say goodbye. Really lovely purpose-built, modern care home. Staff are very kind and keep us informed with any important info on Mum. Whether it's the manager, her deputy, the reception team, the care staff, the housekeepers, the activities gang, the kitchen team or the maintenance guys everyone is 100% doing their jobs at Clayburn to make it feel like home and to bring out the best in the residents. 5 stars isn't enough!

My father has been a resident for several months and I have nothing but praise for the level of care he has received and the very kind, caring attitude of the staff who are always welcoming and chatty. They take time to talk and joke with him.
There are always activities going on and regular entertainers come into the home.
The decor and quality of the furnishings make the home feel very homely.
The food is extremely good and there is always a good choice.

I have 100% trust that he is being well looked after and know he is very happy.

My mum moved into Clayburn Court in May this year. The care she has received is exceptional, every member of staff has helped Mum to settle in and feel welcome. Unfortunately Mum has been in and out of hospital still, but every time the paramedics have had to be called, staff have not only treated Mum with respect and care they have also kept me informed every step of the way.
When I first looked around Clayburn it had such a good feel about it and my instincts that it would be ideal for Mum were indeed right. The accommodation is modern and always clean. There are lots of activities, crafts, gardening, visits from lots of varied musical entertainers, the local church and the petting zoo.
There are regular separate meetings for family members and residents to keep them up to date with what’s happening and any concerns can be raised.

I can’t believe how well Mum has settled, and for me knowing that she is so well cared for means that I can come away knowing that she is safe.
