I find the accommodation to be very homely and a good standard of care in a much that if in the future I need care I would not mind becoming a resident, hopefully not in the near future.

I have visited Maple Court weekly to visit a friend who has resided there for approximately three years. I have always found it a very comfortable place. The staff are very friendly and supportive of all the residents giving them their time, which is most important. The surroundings are clean and well
organised, giving all the residents a sense of security. I feel that it is a very special place for all the residents who are not able to live alone.

It's a place where my/our mother/ we know is being cared for in a dignified and respectful way. A place to call 'home' with residents and carers who seem to know each other, in other words, somewhere it's proven to be a very caring place to be.

The Cedars continue to provide a high level of care and support to my mother within the care environment. Over the past couple of months my mother's physical health has been very unstable and the communication from the staff to keep me informed has been excellent, as well as their communication with
appropriate medical services/interventions as required. I am extremely happy with the care she receives.

Since visiting my friend at Maple Tree Court I can honestly say that the cleanliness care and support of residence is second to none. The social areas and public areas are clean bright and inviting. The residence rooms and ensuite are cleaned daily to a very high standard making it very homely. In my
opinion the home is run to a very high standard where care staff and management are focused on the home from home experience for residence.

My neighbour has been at The Cedars for a few weeks now. She is settling in and getting to know the staff and residents. There is plenty of room for the various activities that are provided and that she is enjoying too. All the staff are helpful, supportive and go out of their way to help in any way.
Thank you to all of them for their dedication to the care and provision of the residents.

My mum is happy here, I was a bit apprehensive at first but it was her choice to reside here and I must say it seems a lovely place. The staff on my mums floor are friendly and always helpful as are the Management.

Dad was only with you for a few months but Park Hall was our first choice when we were looking for a residential setting. We liked the way that the home is split into smaller, more personal units, with the atrium and the 'pub' for alternative social areas. Dad loved sitting in the atrium in the sunshine,
he enjoyed the food and got on well with his carers. We were happy with his care and the response to anything we raised.

Feeling frightened, angry and disappointed on arrival to Chesterton Lodge (about leaving her own home & hospital) My mother-in-law soon settled into her 'new home'. 2 days later the words 'it's lovely here, they bring you your food, everyone's king. They wash my clothes and they bring them back the
next dasy, I've had my hair done, it's like a hotel'. Wow! How reassuring/comforting it was for her family to hear her speak. My mother-in-law's needs have been met, staff always available to discuss, listen and act to any concerns, arranging medical care for a skin condition, arranging an optometrist to check her vision. We are so relieved and happy to see her so settled. As she continues to stay at Chesterton Lodge we now hope that with encouragement she will become less reluctant to refuse and being to participate in the enrichment activities planned/available. Thank you everyone for welcoming her into the home and making such a positive difference for us all. xx

My sister in law is receiving excellent care at Chesterton Lodge. There is a welcoming atmosphere when we visit and the staff are mostly pleasant and approachable. The home is clean and comfortable and the staff go to a great deal of trouble to decorate it beautifully for celebrations. Mealtimes are
well organised and, on reading the menu, I can see that the meals are well balanced and nutritious. Communication from the home is very good. I would certainly recommend Chesterton Lodge.

On the recommendation from a friend who for a few years had resided at Maple Tree Court I knew that it would be most suited to my husband's long term care. After two and a half years both myself and two daughters' have seen the excellent care ranging from his personal needs, good meals, on-time medications
and good medical advice when needed Although the House Keeping is often times stretched his room and bathroom are alway kept clean and tidy with
clean bedding and a good supply of clean towels always at hand.
Most importantly to us as a family he is comfortable, happy and safe.

During the five years that our Mum was at Park Hall she was treated with respect and encouraged to be as active as possible within the constraints of a devastating dementia diagnosis. I was always made welcome by all the staff when visiting my Mum and this enabled me to spend many hours of quality time
with her. Whilst they are not a nursing care provider they have experience in providing end of life care with training led by the home manager. Their commitment to taking care of our Mum was nothing short of exceptional. During her final days we were able to be with our mother day and night (even with our dog Pippa) without any objections. I was so impressed particularly with the home manager who went above and beyond. Thank you for everything during our sad loss.

Our Mum lived at Park Hall for almost 5 years. Whilst there she was treated with respect and encouraged to be as active as possible both physically and cognitively within the constraints of a devastating dementia diagnosis. When Mum became unwell we had no alternative but to agree to her being admitted
to hospital but sadly the treatment did not provide a long term response. The hospital wanted our Mum to be discharged to a nursing home after what could have been a 6 week assessment somewhere she was not familiar with. We fought for Mum to go back to Park Hall. Whilst they are not a nursing care provider they have experience of providing end of life care with training led by the home manager and we had no doubt they would be able to care for Mum. She passed away with dignity with all her family around her (including the dog!) both day and night. Fellow residents/friends came in to see her and the staff were wonderful to us all, nothing was too much for them and I am eternally grateful.
