The care for my mother and father has been very professional, kind and thoughtful not to mention cheerful. Mum and dad appreciate how well they are being looked after. The staff are invariably happy and supportive. I feel well informed about the care that mum and dad are having in terms of their comfort
and health needs. Communication between the home and me is good and I feel and trust they would do the best for mum and dad in any difficult situation.

From the first phone call to enquire about availability to nan's last day at the home, all staff I encountered were welcoming and accommodating. Nan was well looked after and fed very well. When she became poorly the staff not only cared for her but looked after myself and my dad (asking if we wanted
tea/coffee or anything to eat, whilst we were sat with her). I cannot thank them enough for all their support and kind words at the end. Anyone who stays here will have the best time and be looked after very well.

Mum spent the last year and half in St Anne's. Sadly she passed away in December 2025.
I cannot fault the staff as mum loved them and they went above and beyond and built a great relationship with her. As a family we also built a great relationship too and really appreciated how they all took care
of our mum. They really care for the residents.
Sadly the dynamics have changed and it felt like the budget was being squeezed and staff were not as happy as before. They didn't hold a Xmas fair, or raffle in December and they removed the little shop that was there for residents. Also, they recently stopped the cinema evenings which it was clear the residents loved.
I raised a concern regarding the cleanliness of the room, which was dealt with and the team they have now are amazing. Mum said it was the cleanest her room had been.
I just hope that Anchor recognise what great staff they have and make them feel appreciated and that they can overcome the issues. Thank you so very much x
Reply from Lisa Honeywell, Manager at St Anne'sThank you for taking the time to review St Anne's and we are please you rate our overall experience as excellent. Please accept our condolences again on your Mum's passing, she is missed by us all. We appreciate your kind comments regarding our team and the cleanliness of St Anne's, and I will pass on this lovely feedback. Our Christmas Fair and the raffle on the day didn't go ahead due to a number of stallholders cancelling close to the event, and it not being possible to arrange other stalls. Our shop temporarily closed for redecorating and updating and has since re-opened. We didn't hold our cinema evenings during December, as we were celebrating our '31 days of Christmas' events and activities throughout the month. Our cinema evenings have restarted for January onwards. I'm always happy to discuss all aspects of care and day-to-day life at St Anne's so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I visited 7 other homes before looking around Kimberley Court. It was head & shoulders above the others in all aspects. It was the also the only one that is purpose built. All the rooms are en-suite & have a little kitchenette. My mum is lucky to have a sea view room.
From my initial enquiry phone
call with Sam & the subsequent visit to view the care home, the communication has been excellent. Sam made the whole lead up to mum moving in smooth & seamless. She supported me every step of the way & was kind & caring in the moments I was very emotional. The communication since has been excellent from all staff.
The housekeeping staff deserve a mention as the cleanliness is second to none. One of the first comments I made to Sam on my initial visit was that it smelt lovely.
The catering is excellent & mid morning & evening snacks and drinks are offered in addition to the three meals a day.
All the staff are kind, caring & treat residents with respect. A special thanks to Hollie.

I was so impressed with every aspect of Kimberley Court from initial enquiry, viewing, settling in, support care and friendship.

The whole team are amazing and made my Uncle feel special and loved - the staff take the time to make a difference which would not be possible without good management from

the top down. I have used and visited other care homes and none were anywhere as good as Kimberley Court. A special mention to Carrie, Sam and Maddie who were particularly fantastic although Ii do not want to miss mentioning so many others too. Thank you.

Fantastic care home and I viewed quite a few and came back to this one. I had seen some very plush looking homes, but this one was warm, friendly, active and homely and gave me the best impression over others. The rooms or flats are lovely, my dad had a sea view, they have a little area for making drinks
in the room and fridge, ensuite wet room and call bell system. But what makes this home special is the staff management and the brilliant activities. Communication from staff is five-star, always letting you know how your parent is doing and notifying you of any changes to care plans. The food looks very good, my dad had to have a soft diet for medical reasons and the chef was brilliant at accomdodating this. He always liked what he had and the choices. The snacks and drinks are supplied in between. Meals always contain some fresh fruit, cake and smoothies. The care for my dad has been first class, my dad has put on weight and is walking better as he had been very poorly. Due to this we are able to take dad home and look after him ourselves now as your work circumstances have changed, but he will still be having respite at this wonderful home.

Prior to my parents moving into Kimberley Court we viewed several residential homes, and Kimberley Court was easily the best. Particular points that impressed us were all bedrooms are en suite and have a kitchenette. The whole building is decorated to a high standard. It looks and smells lovely, more
like you would expect in a hotel. We like the fact that the weekly menu's and activities are published in advance. We have eaten in the upstairs dining room with our parents and can vouch that the food is very good and very tasty. The outside garden is a nice touch on a sunny day. Most of all the staff deserve a special mention from the management, team leaders, care assistant's, cleaners and the kitchen staff are all very friendly, and willing to help. The whole team are always friendly and caring to residents and visitors alike. We always judge a place by asking ourselves the question would be happy living there if we required care in later years and the answer is a definite yes.

My mother's experience at St Anne's Care Home was exemplary. Josie stayed for an initial week as respite. My initial contact and introduction was with a lady called Sharon. She was brilliant, very welcoming, informative and pulled all the strings to make everything so very easy. Josie was greeted upon
her arrival but management and members of staff. A very nice way to start her experience. The room and her meals were very good, and entertainment was twice a day, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were all polite, smart and just lovely. Many, many thanks to you all. A five star experience. Josie hopes to see you all again soon.

My mother stayed here for a 2 week respite with the option of ongoing care here! As soon as we walked though the door it was homely and welcoming! Her room was clean and spacious even had a little kitchenette so she could have a little bit of independence if she wanted it! The dining room, Day room
and tv room are bright and airy, and all in the 1950's style with was lovely! The food looked amazing! The staff went above and beyond to help her settle in and make her feel safe and welcome! I would love to be in a home like this when my time comes! Thank you St Anns for making it so nice for mum and for making a stressful situation into an easy one!

My mother was fortunate to spend the final 2 and a half years of her life in this care home. When you walk through the doors, it feels so different to the archetypal care home. It's light, bright and modern, no unpleasant aromas and a cheerful welcome from all the staff you encounter. It feels like
a hotel rather than a residential home.
My mother's room was amazing. Ensuite facilities and a small kitchenette which made her feel self contained and safe. She valued her privacy and this was very important in helping her settle and feel at home. She had a choice of eating in the dining room with the other residents or staying in her room. The staff always facilitated her choices and she appreciated their efforts.
The food is exemplary and of a high standard.
My mother passed away in June and our family are indebted to all the amazing staff at St Annes. They were compassionate, kind, empathetic and cared for us too. It is a great comfort to our family; we shall be eternally grateful.

Everyone at the home are extremely pleasant. They are patent and kind. They take the time to learn about the resident, family connections etc. They take time to find out their favourite needs, where they like to go, what time they like to go to bed and what time they like to get up. All in all an extremely
pleasant atmosphere to be in.

My mum stayed at Kimberly Court for thee years during that time I was constantly impressed by how helpful and caring the staff were to my mum. They genuinely seem to care for the residents.

I very highly recommend Kimberley Court - the care that my lovely Mum received there for over a year was absolutely excellent. The team are professional, efficient and very compassionate - and offer fantastic support and advice for relatives as well as residents. Cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere
are noticeably prioritised, and activities and visiting entertainers are well planned and thought out. The residents are clearly content and happy, meals and snacks are generous and look delicious. Thank you for everything you've done for us.
