I was recommended to view this care home and I must say I am extremely pleased with everything that I have witnessed. My mother has complex needs. She doesn't accept that she should be in the home for her own needs and safety. The home is copping with her absolutely brilliantly. Every member of staff that I have met are wonderful.

My mum has been a resident here since about February, and although I have wanted to come visit, I live a long distance away from Cornwall, and my sister largely does most of the visits, since she is local. My mum seems settled and happy to live here amongst the other residents. She had a full week just going out with us and was impeccably well turned out by the care staff, who were always happy to help and seemed very supportive of her and the other residents. Lots of things put out for the residents to be interested in, with plentiful staff around to help if needed, all cheerful and welcoming. My overall impression of the home is a well-run community; everything looks in good condition and well thought out for the residents' safety and security. I feel confident to say the home is full of life and laughter, a pleasure to see, and happy that my loved one is safe and well cared for. Thank you all!

The care for my mother and father has been very professional, kind and thoughtful not to mention cheerful. Mum and dad appreciate how well they are being looked after. The staff are invariably happy and supportive. I feel well informed about the care that mum and dad are having in terms of their comfort and health needs. Communication between the home and me is good and I feel and trust they would do the best for mum and dad in any difficult situation.

I visited 7 other homes before looking around Kimberley Court. It was head & shoulders above the others in all aspects. It was the also the only one that is purpose built. All the rooms are en-suite & have a little kitchenette. My mum is lucky to have a sea view room.
From my initial enquiry phone call with Sam & the subsequent visit to view the care home, the communication has been excellent. Sam made the whole lead up to mum moving in smooth & seamless. She supported me every step of the way & was kind & caring in the moments I was very emotional. The communication since has been excellent from all staff.
The housekeeping staff deserve a mention as the cleanliness is second to none. One of the first comments I made to Sam on my initial visit was that it smelt lovely.
The catering is excellent & mid morning & evening snacks and drinks are offered in addition to the three meals a day.

All the staff are kind, caring & treat residents with respect. A special thanks to Hollie.

I was so impressed with every aspect of Kimberley Court from initial enquiry, viewing, settling in, support care and friendship.

The whole team are amazing and made my Uncle feel special and loved - the staff take the time to make a difference which would not be possible without good management from the top down. I have used and visited other care homes and none were anywhere as good as Kimberley Court. A special mention to Carrie, Sam and Maddie who were particularly fantastic although Ii do not want to miss mentioning so many others too. Thank you.

Fantastic care home and I viewed quite a few and came back to this one. I had seen some very plush looking homes, but this one was warm, friendly, active and homely and gave me the best impression over others. The rooms or flats are lovely, my dad had a sea view, they have a little area for making drinks in the room and fridge, ensuite wet room and call bell system. But what makes this home special is the staff management and the brilliant activities. Communication from staff is five-star, always letting you know how your parent is doing and notifying you of any changes to care plans. The food looks very good, my dad had to have a soft diet for medical reasons and the chef was brilliant at accomdodating this. He always liked what he had and the choices. The snacks and drinks are supplied in between. Meals always contain some fresh fruit, cake and smoothies. The care for my dad has been first class, my dad has put on weight and is walking better as he had been very poorly. Due to this we are able to take dad home and look after him ourselves now as your work circumstances have changed, but he will still be having respite at this wonderful home.

Prior to my parents moving into Kimberley Court we viewed several residential homes, and Kimberley Court was easily the best. Particular points that impressed us were all bedrooms are en suite and have a kitchenette. The whole building is decorated to a high standard. It looks and smells lovely, more like you would expect in a hotel. We like the fact that the weekly menu's and activities are published in advance. We have eaten in the upstairs dining room with our parents and can vouch that the food is very good and very tasty. The outside garden is a nice touch on a sunny day. Most of all the staff deserve a special mention from the management, team leaders, care assistant's, cleaners and the kitchen staff are all very friendly, and willing to help. The whole team are always friendly and caring to residents and visitors alike. We always judge a place by asking ourselves the question would be happy living there if we required care in later years and the answer is a definite yes.

My mum stayed at Kimberly Court for thee years during that time I was constantly impressed by how helpful and caring the staff were to my mum. They genuinely seem to care for the residents.

Unfortunately my mum died due to her age.The support and care they gave me and my mum in her last days was unprecedented and I can only pass on my thanks it made a horrible time bearable .

I very highly recommend Kimberley Court - the care that my lovely Mum received there for over a year was absolutely excellent. The team are professional, efficient and very compassionate - and offer fantastic support and advice for relatives as well as residents. Cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere are noticeably prioritised, and activities and visiting entertainers are well planned and thought out. The residents are clearly content and happy, meals and snacks are generous and look delicious. Thank you for everything you've done for us.

Kimberly Court is a very well-run home with caring dedicated staff. The home itself is always clean and tidy. The food is freshly home-cooked and looks appetising with a good varied menu. The home is always nice and warm, which on cold winter days is lovely to come into.
Staff are excellent at communicating with residents and are compassionate and caring. The staff are experienced with dementia as well as all the issues that may come with this.
Our relative over time has required an increasing level of care. His needs have been met with dignity and respect. We have no doubt whatsoever that he has done so well wholly due to the dedication of the staff.
Kimberly Court has regular fun activities, and are very good at encouraging independence.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kimberly Court to anyone considering care, it's a home-from-home, and it's a safe space, with your own personal space.

From the moment I entered Kimberley Court to have a visitors tour, I knew it was the right place for my mum who has Alzheimer's. It completely changed my opinion of care homes and what they have to offer and compared to other care settings that I had visited, Kimberley Court felt warm, welcoming, clean and full of life. The staff were all incredibly friendly and fun and the list of activities were endless...exactly what my mum needed. I arranged for my mum to have a two-week respite period to see if it was suitable for her to take a permanent place there. She has just completed her 2 weeks and doesn't want to leave. She has settled in very well, socialising with the other residents and even though she sometimes loses her way, there's always a caring member of staff to guide her to where she needs to go. The food is exceptional, which she loves and for me, I know my mum is now in a safe, happy and comfortable environment where she is cared for 24/7.

Kimberley Court Care Home has proved to be a very professional, well-run, caring establishment for my dear Mum who has resided here for nearly 3.5 years. I could not ask for better care for her. All the staff are very friendly, very caring, very helpful, very patient and always treat my Mum with dignity and respect. They keep me informed of any developments or changes, keeping me involved. The home is always warm and welcoming and exceptionally clean and tidy. There is a lovely varied menu which my Mum enjoys every day. There is a program of activities keeping my Mum entertained. I have complete peace of mind knowing that my Mum is in the best possible hands and I couldn't be happier with the superb level of care she receives. I would not hesitate to recommend Kimberley Court to anyone looking for residential care for a loved one. Kimberley Court Staff - thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for my Mum, you are all so appreciated.

My mum moved into Kimberly Court after she was admitted to the hospital several years ago after suffering a nasty fall. She was also suffering from Dementia and at the time it was very clear that it was becoming increasingly unsafe for her to remain in her own home. This was planned to be a very short stay whilst we tried to get her an appropriate care package organised for her. We all soon found out that Kimberley Court is a fantastic place staffed by warm and friendly staff guided by an outstanding management team, and Mum moved in as a permanent resident. Kimberley Court is a lovely caring home where the residents (many of whom suffer from dementia) are provided active stimulation through art, music, cooking, games and supporting charity events - in fact, anything you can think of to enrich their stay. Sadly last December at the age of 98 my mum passed away after enjoying the final years of her life to the full at Kimberley Court thanks to the manager and her team!

Mum has been a resident at Kimberley Court since February 2022 and is clearly settled. The staff are kind, caring and treat her with respect and dignity. The home is clean and made to feel like a home away from home, with its own little garden, home cinema, hairdresser and even a little pub! There are plenty of activities throughout the week (though mum tends to be more of a spectator than a joiner in) and the residents are encouraged to live as independently as they still can, including regular management/residents meetings. Since Mum has been at Kimberley Court, she is walking better, eating better, and is looking far more healthy than when she was living at home. If she wishes a lie in, she is not hassled to get up, and so can enjoy the things she wants to do. She cannot remember things from one second to the next - but she does always remember (and comments) that she is treated well and the staff are lovely. I cannot thank the staff enough, and cannot recommend Kimberley Court highly enough!

My mum was a resident at Kimberly Court since June 2023 until she passed away in November. The care she received was absolutely brilliant the ladies were so kind to her and myself and my family. We couldn't have asked for any more. The staff are like one big happy family and went above and beyond for my mum. We spent the last 36 hours of my mum's life with her and were looked after superbly with love and compassion.

Our mum has been a resident at Kimberley Court since December 2019. The manager, deputy manager and the administrator have always been so supportive to my sister and l. All the staff are so dedicated and caring and give us reassurance, as a family, that Mum is being well looked after.

From the excellent chef and the all the kitchen staff, to the cleaning staff and laundry, they all deserve a mention. The home has a lot going on, from entertainment to coffee mornings (cakes are delicious). Thank you Kimberley Court for everything that you do for Mum, my sister and I, you are angels.

Hi there, my name is Carrie, and I am the home manager here at Kimberley Court. I started my career with Anchor here at Kimberley Court back in 1996 in a bank care position, and this is where I discovered my passion. I decided to progress my career within the care industry with Anchor's support. I progressed throughout different roles within the business, gaining valuable knowledge and insight into the running of a care home. I finally became Home Manager in October 2018, and I have the best job in the world!

Hi, my name is Mandy and I am the Deputy Manager here at Kimberely Court. I began my career with Anchor on November 14th, 2014, as a care assistant at another Anchor home in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire. I was promoted to Team Leader, then to Acting Deputy Manager, until I got the position of permanent Deputy Manager. In 2020, my husband and I decided to move down to Cornwall, which meant me transferring to Kimberley Court as a care/team leader assistant. And in October 2022, I was promoted to Deputy Manager and continue to do this for the foreseeable future.
