Mum is well looked after. Happy she is now in a secure but relaxed setting.
She very much enjoys the activities put on.
I find all the care assistants very good, I find that they are there because they want to be, not just as a paid 'job'.

My father-in-law recently had his mobility scooter stolen from the town centre. As he is a regular visitor to the care home to visit his wife, losing his means of mobility meant a massive loss to his independence. The care home arranged a long-term loan of a mobility scooter to replace his stolen one.
This has now given him his freedom back, and he is extremely grateful to all of the staff for this incredibly kind and helpful gesture.

Ferendune was a good place for my aunt to live , as she had dementia, everyone was very caring towards her , we had no issues whatsoever , she was looked after really well.

Moving a parent into a care home is not always the choice you think you will end up making with them. The team at Ferendune Court have been incredible. Their care never turns off. They are constantly entertaining and making sure the residents are happy. My mum is very settled. I would highly recommend

I cannot praise this care home enough. The facilities are spotlessly clean the decor is modern and fresh. Everyone from the manager to all the staff are so kind and caring. Always smiling chatty and the relationship they build with the residents is amazing. Communication is fantastic. I always know
what is going on. The activity programme is incredible and includes music/dance exercise/external trips to library/coffee shops/local events and further afield. Catering is excellent with menus displayed. I would book myself in.

Mostly The Ridings is a good place to live. The carers are very friendly but sometimes I wish they had more time to help me with things. My room is lovely as I can sit and watch what is going on outside.

My partner spent a week in respite care and we both found the management and staff helpful, kind and attentive and would not hesitate to recommend Ferundune. Visiting relatives were always treated with kindness and hospitality.

My experience of Ferendune Court during my wife's 15 month stay has always been excellent. The care and love shown to her by all the staff especially in her final weeks and days was exceptional. Looking after residents with dementia is challenging and I was impressed by the cheerful and supportive way
my wife was cared for. I could not have wished for a more peaceful environment for her.
