We as a family would like to thank all the fabulous Staff and Management at Saville Park for the care mum received in her final year.
During mums stay every member of staff has been so kind and considerate not only to mum but to all the family.
Every health issue was raised and family updated promptly.
We can not thank you all enough for the care, support and privacy we received during mums final days.

For any family finding themselves in the unfortunate position of loved ones needing to go into care we would not hesitate to recommend Saville Park.

Both my parents moved in to Savile Park at the beginning of may. Since they came in Mum unfortunately had a fall due to not pressing her assistance buzzer for help. The staff were absolutely fantastic calling an ambulance + getting Mum the help required. Since they have been in myself + rest of my family have been very impressed with every single member of staff. Everything we have asked has been sorted + we can't fault anything at all. The staff are all really friendly + nothing is too much trouble. We are very impressed with the social side aswell. Thank you to everyone for looking after my parents + us

Since my mother started her residency 2 years ago she was made to feel very welcome. The staff have been brilliant with her, they are so helpful and have a lot of patience with her. All the residents are really nice as well. There are always activities going on which Mum nearly always joins in. If there are medical issues to be raised it is dealt with promptly. Overall we are very happy and pleased.

Mum has been a resident at Savile Park for 1 year. She is so happy she loves all the activites they arrange for them, especially when the local schools and nursery's visit. During her time with the home she has had a number of health issues connected to her dementia, which the carers keep us updated with. They get medical personnel to check her when she has had a episode and they ensure she is safe and comfortable when she is unwell. They picked up that she was losing weight and have addressed this with supplements thankfully she seems to have got her appetite back thanks to their action.

Savile Park is such a lovely home it feels welcoming its always clean the staff are all friendly and spend time talking to the residents which is so important to prevent them feeling isolated. Before choosing Savile Park for Mum we looked at other homes in and around Halifax, Savile Park stood out as the best one and our decision to move Mum there has proven us to be right.

My grandad moved into Savile Park over a year ago, and as a family, we couldn't be happier with how well he has settled in. Moving into care is a huge transition, but the environment here has made him feel secure and comfortable.
One thing we have noticed is a relatively high turnover of staff. However, it is clear that management are prioritizing quality over quantity and they seem to be employing the right people who really care about the residents.
The management team themselves are incredibly approachable. Any time we have raised a concern, they have dealt with it promptly and professionally, which gives us great peace of mind.
I particularly want to mention the new Team Leader on the first floor. Since he joined, his impact has been very evident during my visits. He is approachable and always ready for a chat or to give an update. You can see his genuine compassion not just toward the residents but also in how he supports the care team which makes a positive difference

Thank you!

Good care from the staff kind and considerate for my mother during her stay of 8 years can't fault the staff for there kindness and consideration.
The latest management I did not have much contact with and was disappointed as to no communication as to when my mother passed.

Also the lack of ability for the staff to call me when i live abroad in a difficult time as they can not call abroad due to the tlf system.

This is a lovely caring care home. Well organised but flexible to everyone's individual needs. All of the staff are fantastic as you can tell that they really care about the residents. Staff also took the time to know us as a family and this meant they knew more about our Mum. Would recommend.

The team at Saville Park are fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you are looking for residential care. Mum was looked after and cared for compassionately with the care individualised to suit her needs.
The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean. We were able to make mums room her own. The gardens are beautiful with planned activities on a regular basis.

All the team from laundry, reception, kitchen, cleaners, team leaders and carers made mum feel welcome and the atmosphere is homely. Thank you so much Saville Park team. You looked after us as a family and mum at a difficult time and we wouldn't have wanted mum anywhere else.

Our mother was recently in Savile Park for a fortnight of respite care. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. She was poorly going in but by the end of the two weeks had greatly improved, had been eating regular meals, and had got into a good daily routine. We were very pleased with her progress and would recommend Savile Park to anyone looking for somewhere for care.

I spent three weeks here recovering from a hip replacement operation. I was made to feel very welcome. All the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble for them I was also impressed with how they cared for the permanent residents. If I ever need respite care in the future I would be very happy to return.

The care at Savile Park given to my father has been second to none. He has been treated with dignity and care for the last 5 years he has been here. The staff are amazing, they can't do enough for you. Over the 5 years we have dealt with the lady on reception, she has been professional and friendly in helping us.

Mum was very well looked after , I was under the impression that that was the end , but mum was well looked after with respect and dignity that she seem to have a really good end of life experience. The 24 hr care , the social interaction she experienced gave her I believe the best conditions possible .

If this is you first time putting a family member in a home take heart , because it will be ok especially here in this home .

My mum has been in Saville Park care home for two years. In that time she has received excellent care. The staff are professional, friendly and caring. They go above and beyond every day to make Mum's life there as comfortable, interesting and home like at the sane time as caring for her physical, mental and emotional well being. Mum enjoys all the activities put on in the home especially the singing. Thank you to all at Savile Park. Keep up the good work.
