Anchor's Savile Park is located at the centre of the Halifax community and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 55 residents in single rooms. Built-in bedroom furniture and en suite wet rooms are provided as standard. The home continues to welcome new residents for quality residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team take the time to get to know each individual and work with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met. They pride themselves in dementia care and provide on-going training to ensure their approach is best for customers living with dementia.

They work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service they provide is focused on individual and compassionate care.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Caring, conscientious, competent and supportive staff. Residents are grouped according to needs and compatibility. Nice atmosphere in communal areas (tv lounge, dining room). Pleasant rooms and garden area.

Good care from the staff kind and considerate for my mother during her stay of 8 years can't fault the staff for there kindness and consideration.
The latest management I did not have much contact with and was disappointed as to no communication as to when my mother passed.
Also the lack of ability
for the staff to call me when i live abroad in a difficult time as they can not call abroad due to the tlf system.

This is a lovely caring care home. Well organised but flexible to everyone's individual needs. All of the staff are fantastic as you can tell that they really care about the residents. Staff also took the time to know us as a family and this meant they knew more about our Mum. Would recommend.

The team at Saville Park are fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you are looking for residential care. Mum was looked after and cared for compassionately with the care individualised to suit her needs.
The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean. We were able to make mums room her own. The gardens
are beautiful with planned activities on a regular basis.
All the team from laundry, reception, kitchen, cleaners, team leaders and carers made mum feel welcome and the atmosphere is homely. Thank you so much Saville Park team. You looked after us as a family and mum at a difficult time and we wouldn't have wanted mum anywhere else.

Our mother was recently in Savile Park for a fortnight of respite care. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. She was poorly going in but by the end of the two weeks had greatly improved, had been eating regular meals, and had got into a good daily routine. We were very pleased with
her progress and would recommend Savile Park to anyone looking for somewhere for care.

I spent three weeks here recovering from a hip replacement operation. I was made to feel very welcome. All the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble for them I was also impressed with how they cared for the permanent residents. If I ever need respite care in the future I would be very happy

The care at Savile Park given to my father has been second to none. He has been treated with dignity and care for the last 5 years he has been here. The staff are amazing, they can't do enough for you. Over the 5 years we have dealt with the lady on reception, she has been professional and friendly

Mum was very well looked after , I was under the impression that that was the end , but mum was well looked after with respect and dignity that she seem to have a really good end of life experience. The 24 hr care , the social interaction she experienced gave her I believe the best conditions possible

I cannot fault the day staff but still not 100% about the night staff with what happened to my Dad. Management, day Staff, receptionist house cleaners maintenance are so helpful, caring, friendly always happy to help, food is lovely, well catered.

My mum has been in Saville Park care home for two years. In that time she has received excellent care. The staff are professional, friendly and caring. They go above and beyond every day to make Mum's life there as comfortable, interesting and home like at the sane time as caring for her physical, mental

The members of staff that I have had the most contact with are very friendly and helpful. The manager is experienced and professional as well as being friendly and approachable. The rooms are lovely and warm.
They try to entertain the residents and encourage them to take part in activities. Mum is

I find the home very caring and compassionate when looking after my mum who has dementia. She has been living at the home for 2 years 6 months. She is safe and secure which gives me and the family feel at peace . There are plenty activities for her if she feels like joining in and she looks forward
too and enjoys her meals. The staff are wonderful with the residents .

Savile Park was an ideal home for Mum - providing comfort, safety, stimulation, caring staff, and friendships. She lived there for six years until she died at age 90 in comfort and with dignity. Her family and 'Bobby' - dog visited throughout her stay and were made welcome. Meals and refreshments were
appreciated and enjoyed. Her long stay there is a testament to keeping her well until the end.

I said I'd never put Mum in a home, it was an agonising choice but I'd say now it was a good choice for her. She's outgoing and interactive with the carers and other residents and her dementia doesn't keep her insular. She participates in the activities, especially when they have a singer or dancing
as entertainment. More is the point she's safe. She can wander around the vast home and stay safe. She has her hair done every week and chiropody services when she needs it. Mum is looked after and any problems are dealt with by management as soon as possible.

So glad my mum is in Saville Park Care Home. The staff are amazing, always helpful, happy and very friendly. I can go home after visiting knowing she is in good hands. The home itself is beautiful, modern and clean. Mum's own room has everything she needs, the food is amazing and we can dine with Mum
whenever we want. Activitities are numerous, onsite hairdresser, beautiful gardens and lovely views from all windows. Excellent all around.

The staff were caring and warm and ensured that the home was a calm and nurturing environment, Mum had access to and took part in some lovely activities including gardening, bowling and boat trips. There was also a visit from some Llamas. Effort was made to consider my mum as an individual She was French
and French songs would be played in the lounge area for her. Also, local schoolchildren would come in to practice their French with her.

The reception area is bright and cheerful. The receptionist is always informative and helpful. Home always appears clean and fresh smelling. Carers seem to know all resident's names. Ready to answer any questions and provide reassurance if needed. Meals and menus look fabulous and my aunt says the food
is tasty. There is an activities programme also. I would happily pay for more outside visits if they were offered. My aunt has no complaints so I'm happy.

Mum is getting settled in with the kindness and care of the carers. She seems very relaxed and looks better in herself. The team are very welcoming to her and all of us. Feels homely and spacious with lovely communal spaces.
