Savile Park

Rooms are perfect, most with a lovely view. And the building is big enough to enable residents to walk around and maintain physical wellbeing.

Savile Park Care Home were truly amazing throughout my grandmas period of time there over the last year. Over the year, the care home provided the most amazing care throughout, nothing was ever a problem or too much and they were always consistent, especially during her end of life care. The staff were incredible and made the hardest situation as nice as it possibly could be. They all deserve a medal x

I have helped a friend / neighbour move into SPCH today and already am happy to give a 5 star review, the run up to move in day with home visits from Tracy and help from Lyndsay was seemless all staff today have been truly professional and friendly Gareth is a star, my elderly neighbour has left a lovely home but her personal room and communal space is really spacious and well presented she was able to bring some of her own furniture and belongings to make the room her own, the facilities and design of the building I feel has been well thought out with communal lounges, kitchens, dining on every floor to provide ease and space for residents, the social program is very good with an entertaining room and bar area. Extra care if needed is on hand which will give relatives peace of mind what a fab place my friend is going to live in I am so happy for her and would recommend the home to anyone thinking of this huge step from self sufficient living to care

We wish to thank all at Savile Park for care + kindness shown to our dad during his five years at Savile Park. From organising his jigsaws, games of dominoes, to keeping him occupied during the day (not an easy task). For any family finding themselves in the unfortunate position of loved ones needing to go into care we would not hesitate to recommend Saville Park.

Both my parents moved in to Savile Park at the beginning of may. Since they came in Mum unfortunately had a fall due to not pressing her assistance buzzer for help. The staff were absolutely fantastic calling an ambulance + getting Mum the help required. Since they have been in myself + rest of my family have been very impressed with every single member of staff. Everything we have asked has been sorted + we can't fault anything at all. The staff are all really friendly + nothing is too much trouble. We are very impressed with the social side aswell. Thank you to everyone for looking after my parents + us

Since my mother started her residency 2 years ago she was made to feel very welcome. The staff have been brilliant with her, they are so helpful and have a lot of patience with her. All the residents are really nice as well. There are always activities going on which Mum nearly always joins in. If there are medical issues to be raised it is dealt with promptly. Overall we are very happy and pleased.

Savile Park is such a lovely home it feels welcoming its always clean the staff are all friendly and spend time talking to the residents which is so important to prevent them feeling isolated. Before choosing Savile Park for Mum we looked at other homes in and around Halifax, Savile Park stood out as the best one and our decision to move Mum there has proven us to be right.

The staff are welcoming to visitors and always helpful and willing to listen to any concerns. Residents are treated with respect and courtesy in a pleasant and clean environment. There is a variety of entertainment and activities and special times of the year are celebrated with party food and activities in an appropriate way.

We were very impressed with all aspects of my father's respite stay.

All the staff we interacted with were brilliant and so helpful. My father enjoyed his stay and was well cared for.

Caring, conscientious, competent and supportive staff. Residents are grouped according to needs and compatibility. Nice atmosphere in communal areas (tv lounge, dining room). Pleasant rooms and garden area.

Also the lack of ability for the staff to call me when i live abroad in a difficult time as they can not call abroad due to the tlf system.

This is a lovely caring care home. Well organised but flexible to everyone's individual needs. All of the staff are fantastic as you can tell that they really care about the residents. Staff also took the time to know us as a family and this meant they knew more about our Mum. Would recommend.

All the team from laundry, reception, kitchen, cleaners, team leaders and carers made mum feel welcome and the atmosphere is homely. Thank you so much Saville Park team. You looked after us as a family and mum at a difficult time and we wouldn't have wanted mum anywhere else.

Our mother was recently in Savile Park for a fortnight of respite care. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. She was poorly going in but by the end of the two weeks had greatly improved, had been eating regular meals, and had got into a good daily routine. We were very pleased with her progress and would recommend Savile Park to anyone looking for somewhere for care.

I spent three weeks here recovering from a hip replacement operation. I was made to feel very welcome. All the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble for them I was also impressed with how they cared for the permanent residents. If I ever need respite care in the future I would be very happy to return.

The care at Savile Park given to my father has been second to none. He has been treated with dignity and care for the last 5 years he has been here. The staff are amazing, they can't do enough for you. Over the 5 years we have dealt with the lady on reception, she has been professional and friendly in helping us.

If this is you first time putting a family member in a home take heart , because it will be ok especially here in this home .

I cannot fault the day staff but still not 100% about the night staff with what happened to my Dad. Management, day Staff, receptionist house cleaners maintenance are so helpful, caring, friendly always happy to help, food is lovely, well catered.
