Anchor's Savile Park is located at the centre of the Halifax community and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 55 residents in single rooms. Built-in bedroom furniture and en suite wet rooms are provided as standard. The home continues to welcome new residents for quality residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team take the time to get to know each individual and work with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met. They pride themselves in dementia care and provide on-going training to ensure their approach is best for customers living with dementia.

They work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service they provide is focused on individual and compassionate care.

The care home always looked very nice, clean and tidy. The staff were absolutely amazing and always took the time to look after my grandma through the good days and bad. From my times visiting, I got to know a number of the staff well and could always rely on them for an update, but always knowing my
grandma was in good hands.

Savile Park Care Home is an exceptionally safe, wonderful and compassionate residence. My brother and I are forever grateful to the amazing management and staff who looked after mother for almost two years helping her initially to adjust to her new life and then caringly and with much sensitivity as
her dementia gathered pace. The home is exceptionally clean and well presented and was always a happy place to be. Mother was very particular about her hygiene and appearance and all the residents including mother were always clean, tidy and well-presented. Mother was a person that liked good quality food and drink which was of great importance to her. The meals are of the highest quality and variety and she told us so. Mother passed away but my brother and I remain eternally grateful to the family and staff at Savile Park who treated mum with the utmost respect, affection and kindness throughout her stay and as the end arrived with wonderful caring and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble to make mother comfortable throughout. My lasting memory was on her Birthday, the chef made the most wonderful Birthday cake for her and she laughed and was so pleased and had the biggest smile ever.

The care which my uncle received was second to none. He was treated with dignity and respect. At all times, I had faith and confidence in the staff. When the time came, the home was my first choice for end of life care, and I have no regrets.

Dad was a resident at Savile Park for only 4-months, and we are so grateful that he was able to spend his last few months in such a superb home with very kind, caring and understanding staff. The staff were proactive in addressing Dad’s changing needs as his health deteriorated. The palliative care
was excellent, and the family were well cared for and supported during this very difficult time.
Thank you to each and every member of the Savile Park team. We do not hesitate in recommending this home.

Mum has been a resident at Savile Park for over 18-months, mostly under Covid restrictions. The care she has enjoyed has been excellent despite the restrictions. The staff and management are first class, and I would recommend this care home to anybody.

My husband recently went into Savile Park care home, and as you can imagine, it was a very stressful and worrying time not only for him but also for the family. The staff and carers are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very understanding and deal with challenging moments in a
caring and respectful manner. The food is lovely, and there is plenty of choices. If anyone is having to consider a home for a family member, I would highly recommend Savile Park care home.

From the moment you walk through the door at Savile Park, you get a warm welcome. The home is very spacious and homely. I have two parents in the home, one has dementia and the other is sound of mind. I think, when you look at care homes you worry how your loved ones are looked after when you are not
there and there may be a different side to the home and or care when you leave. Well, my very sound of mind parent can tell you, you have no need to worry at Savile Park. You see what you get, everyone is genuine, kind, thoughtful and caring. I can honestly say the staff here go the extra mile. Any concerns you may have, speak to the staff, don't worry unnecessarily they will put your mind at rest and overcome any issues. The hardest decision I have ever made was placing my parents in care but Savile Park was the best decision.

My grandma and grandad both now live at Savile Park. There is a reason we wanted my grandad to join - this care home has been so fantastic with Grandma. Their staff are amazing and so dedicated. They take time to understand each resident's needs. Get to know their family members and make them feel comfortable
at times, which could be terribly difficult. The facilities are second to none - make sure the residents have everything required. Love the Facebook updates and window visits have made lockdown so much easier. Thank you!

My husband came into Savile Park care home in June 2020, the worst possible year. I felt like I had abandoned him, but I also felt that the care he received was second to none. It was very hard not being able to go into his room and talk to him and not easy to talk to him through glass or a screen.
He has Alzheimer's and just didn't understand. He died on the 12th of April - a happy at ease from a horrible illness.

My husband only spent a short time in the home, but we couldn’t fault the care and attention that the staff gave to him. Unfortunately, he passed away in February, but the end of life care they gave to him, and us, was first class. Thank you to everyone.

My Grandma has now had 3 short stays at Savile Park during the Covid pandemic to allow us some time to recoup. Each time, Granny was so well cared for that she has been reluctant to come back home. The staff and management are excellent and so kind and the Home has a well organised and planned admission
and stay process and although Granny has to spend the first few weeks in her room she says the staff are always with her and she has never felt lonely. Communication has been superb, with the staff sending daily updates of Granny and utilising social media to the full. We have been unable to visit the home but Granny says there is so much to do and loved visiting the hair salon and being pampered. Without a doubt, Granny will be returning to Savile Park as we are confident that she is safe and well cared for.

Since my mother entered Savile Park some 4 or 5 years ago now, the standard of care has been at all times excellent. The staff are always pleasant and on the odd occasions where assistance has been required (the lost teeth saga), they have stepped up and helped find an equitable solution. During the
recent Covid situation all the staff have responded very professionally to an extremely challenging state of affairs. I cannot praise their patience enough and my mother, who has been known to be less than cordial at times, always gets the best of care.

My mother has been a resident at Savile Park for three years and has always received wonderful care. Her health has been in decline for the last few months, and the staff and management could not have been more caring and professional. Her personal care plan is perfect for her needs, the tie-up and
liaison with the district nurses are excellent and our family are relieved and confident that she is getting the very best of care available.

This is a bright, warm and welcoming place to live, with spacious rooms and corridors, a pleasant enclosed garden and lots of facilities, even a large room laid out as a pub, ideal for a get-together, concerts and parties. The staff are outstanding - unfailingly kind, cheerful, patient and caring. They
know their residents well and arrange activities they will enjoy. During the virus lockdown, the staff worked incredibly hard to keep residents in contact with family and friends through telephone and Skype calls, and as soon as safely possible set up well organised outdoor visits. We cannot thank them enough for their excellent care and support.

The best care home. Staff treat residents with care, compassion and dignity. Mum liked to laugh and was very mischievous, staff knew this and adapted to mum to get the best out of her (as she could be rather aggressive). The cleanliness of Savile Park id outstanding. Can not fault the manager, she has
a difficult role, very hands-on. A particular member of staff was a joy. Mum didn't take part in activities lately.
