Kerria Court

This is an excellent home providing comfortable surroundings, excellent,caring staff who listen and respond to concerns and have a genuine interest in their community. It has a great family feel and the surroundings are treated as being a place that each person sees as home, where they belong, are nurtured and have a level of choice about how they use their time either in their rooms or in the central space. There are delightful, small areas where residents can meet or sit alone and an indoor sports area where residents or staff can challenge one another. The decor is excellent and there is a lovely garden. All rooms ensuite..Organisation of staff into teams with someone primarily responsible for each resident ensures that when relatives visit, they get accurate and current information about residents. Relatives can take meals with and arrange parties etc for their loved ones. Office administration is effective and health care and medication managed efficiently. Highly recommended.

May I congratulate the manager for the running of this beautiful nursing home everybody (residents) are well looked after with lots of empathy and love. It is so clear to see that they are all happy an content with their surroundings. I noticed that all staff are happy in their roles which helps to such an happy environment. 100% excellent care so happy to see my mother is happy thank you.

I visit a relative on a regular basis and find the home to be well run and a very peaceful and quiet. However this weekend my relative was rushed into hospital for a couple of days. During this time I saw what dementia really does to people. No details, but I found some things quite upsetting. I then realised that this sort of thing is seen and sorted out by your your carers occasionally. Not every day perhaps, but clearly they do see some things that most people would run away from. So, please convey my thanks and appreciation for all they do. They are all lovely caring people.

On our visits, this is a wonderfully caring home. The staff are caring and approachable. Pauline our family member is relaxed and at home here, and seems at home. We, as a family, are very happy that she is safe & well, and well looked after

Great home settled Mom in a couple of weeks ago; very friendly staff. Very compassionate. A lovely home that feels more like a little flat.

The service has been excellent overall. The office staff, Mandy and Harj, have been fantastic throughout-always friendly, helpful, and supportive whenever needed. I really appreciate all their assistance. Overall, I feel that my friend is well settled in the care home, and it's reassuring to know they are being looked after in a caring and supportive environment.

Great calm reception when arriving at the home. Staff so friendly. We visit our brother. Always take us in to see our brother. Tea coffee always available and very approachable and I feel I can always ask the staff about any concerns we have. They all work so hard. Everyone seems happy. Thank you.

Over from Ireland for my brother's 70th birthday. All the staff are so welcoming, helpful with genuine love and attention. A lovely birthday party was put on with cake. Made him and us feel very special under a sad and difficult illness that is dementia. So comforting to know he is so well cared for, fed really well. In lovely surroundings, but most importantly cared for. To stay thanks in so many ways for all you do for him. Bless you all. x

Staff and carers always polite and friendly, showing care and consideration towards residents. Always welcoming.

My brother has been living in Kerria Court for 2 years. In that time he has received excellent care from all staff. His living conditions are very comfortable, and staff are very attentive. I believe he is living in a very safe environment and would highly recommend this care home. He is very happy there.

My dad has been a resident of Kerria Court for just over 18 months. I visit regularly (usually three times a week). I therefore feel well placed to feedback. I could not be happier with my dad's care. He is incredibly settled at Kerria Court. The staff are wonderful - so caring and helpful. It seems be a real vocation for them - they truly care about the residents (who are treated with respect and kindness), My dad loves the food - he eats better at Kerria than he has in decades. He has put on well over a stone since being there (which he needed to do as he was underweight when he arrived). He always looks smart; clean, shaved and his hair is kept neat and tidy. His clothes are always clean. When taking my dad to hospital appointments, NHS staff have commented to me on how well he is clearly looked after in his care home. He really enjoys the entertainment (singers etc) and the visits from the church. I feel very grateful for the peace Kerria have brought to both me and my dad.

I was so nervous having to place my uncle in a nursing home due to his declining mental health, Alzheimer's dementia. I was really concerned that he wouldn't be looked after properly. I have to give credit where it's due, the staff at Kerria Court were welcoming and understanding. I have witnessed them treating my uncle with kindness, empathy and patience. I have been very impressed with the cleanliness and food condition of the building. Staff have not only welcomed my uncle but also us as a family. Also, communication between the home and us as a family has been excellent. I am so happy that I chose Kerria Court and it has put my mind at ease knowing my uncle is well looked after and safe.

I will be using Kerria Court in future if an elderly relative needs this service - I wouldn't mind travelling - I can HIGHLY recommend.

Since living at Kerria Court my dad has received the best care I could have ever wished for. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. They work so hard but always stay calm and keep their friendly demenor despite what kind of day they might be having. I truly appreciate the support they give me too. Having a parent with dementia can be hard but they make it easier for both of us. Thank you!

My mother in law has been a resident for 3 years. From day 1 she has been shown respect and love. Her dementia that may have caused extra difficulties were not too much trouble for staff. They never walked passed her without holding her hand or similar actions. As a family, we always felt she was in a safe friendly home and would not need for anything. Any health issues ere dealt with promptly and family informed. I thank Kerria for their care and dedication.

My Great grandmother has been in this care home for a few months now and she has settled in so so well. This says a lot about the compassion and care she receives from the staff as she struggled to settle in her last care home. Every single member of staff is lovely and I could not praise them more; my nan used to ask when she can come home, now she says she doesn't want to come which is a testament to this home! I genuinely could not ask for a better group of people to care for her and I am so grateful she got put into this place!

Where do I begin, my partner is at Kerria Court, every week I go to Kerria Court, over the last five months, what a place and a pleasure to come to. I would like to thank all the staff, from the cleaners to management, they all give 100%. This has to be the best care home in Birmingham, this has got to be the No. 1 for me. I would recommend it to anyone. Teamwork. Well done all.
