After our mom passed away dad said he was lonely and sad and wanted to be around more people. Bloomfield Court has provided a safe, secure environment for him. We had a couple of issues to start but were soon resolved. The staff are fantastic. They listen and reassure us and are amazing with dad. The food is lovely and dad has no complaints. So glad we chose Bloomfield Court for dads care.

From the very first visit, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere; it felt less like a facility & more like a home from home. The staff are the heart of this home. They treat my mum with the upmost dignity & respect. Always addressing her by her preffered name & taking time to get to know her personally and her family. We are kept well informed of any update regarding her well-being, which gives us immense peace of mind. I would not hesitate to reccommend Bloomfield Court to anyone looking for high quality care for a loved one.

Jean was discharged from hospital to convalesce in Bloomfield Court. Her care and treatment was exceptional. Jean is now ready to go home, but is sad to say goodbye to all staff at Bloomfield Court. I'm sure she will be back for respite in the future.

After visiting many homes for our mom to staying we found Bloomfield Court to be by far the most suitable. It is very clean, pleasant staff, food is suitable for mom who is 99. We feel she is being looked after very well which gives us peace of mind. We could definitely recommend to others seeking a care home.

My mum moved into Bloomfield Court back in October 2023 and is very happy living here. She enjoys being on the go and the staff always helped and encouraged Mum to have a good day and be part of whats going on.

The activities are a big part from dancing, singing and different events throughout the year, Mum really enjoys these and this helps with Mums well being very happy with the support and care given to Mum, from all the staff.

My father has dementia and mobility issues after months of worry and dispair

Bloomfield Court, its carers and administration came as a breathe of fresh air, his transition was seamless and the kindness and understanding are in abundance. Needless to say we now view all staff as friends and can call on them at any time. 24/7. We have no concerns and would recommend Bloomfield day in day out.

We were so worried about dad beginning his next chapter of his life at 89. He was anxious too. However, the care and reassurance that Bloomfield has shown for dad and the family has been wonderful. We can call at anytime, we still take him out to his 'dementia' club, and we can have privacy in his room with him, which we have made like home.

I would definitely recommend.

My mom's under pant's keep going missing since January 2025 I've bought in 30 pairs of pant's. All her gift's and clothes in her room are labelled and her name is on everything. She has had three pair of slipper's all went missing. I find the staff all very good but I do think they need more staff as it quite busy.

My mother lived in Bloomfield House for about 18 months before she died in May 2025, she was 93 years old and suffering from dementia.
The staff at the home were exceptionally kind and understanding. They knew all the residents personally and knew their likes and dislikes.
My mom had lived with me for a time before we thought it necessary to go into a home with specialist care. I personally could not cope with her mood swings and escape attempts. We visited several homes before choosing Bloomfield and we were all very pleased with the outcome. She settled in very well, enjoyed the food and joined in the activities.

We never felt concerned about her safety or wellbeing while she was there and when she died the staff were so considerate and kind. Even at the funeral one of the caseworkers came in his own time, which I thought was so lovely.

All of the staff - carers, office staff, catering, maintenance... always have a smile for the residents. It is lovely to see that my dad always has a smile for the staff too - a sign that he feels happy, comfortable and safe.

Recently, my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make this a special occasion for them both and our family. It meant so much to my mum to be able to celebrate this with my dad in surroundings where he felt comfortable and at ease. Thank you so much

My Dad had been a resident for over 4 years. The staff loved and cared for my dad during the advancement of his dementia and then his care when he was diagnosed with advance lung cancer in May 2025.
They get everything in place for dad that he needed so he had a peaceful, comfortable and dignified passing in August 2025.

My brother and I can not thank the staff for their care.

The family can't thank bloomfield court enough for the support and help for my nan, within a few days of being here my nan is eating, laughing, sleeping and clean. We can approach any member of staff at anytime and nothing is to much bother. The staff on reception are exceptional when the family have had any questions or needs. My nan is also getting her dignity back also making friends.

My father has been a resident since April 2024 and in this time he has received the care we believe was required for his Alzheimer's. The staff are all great with all the residents not just my father and are happy to help and we feel can be trusted to meet my father's needs. As his condition has slowly worsened it has been almost impossible to take him out of the home, so as it was my parents 60th wedding anniversary at the end of August we had asked if it would be possible to hold a small family gathering to mark the occasion. The management happily facilitated this without hesitation, providing a private area for the occasion, some decorations, some refreshments and a member of staff popping in at regular intervals to make sure everything was ok. This was topped off by the staff presenting my mother with a lovely bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion, which I know she found lovely and very thoughtful. I would 100% recommend Bloomfield Court.

Our Mom was in Bloomfield Court for 10 months and can honestly say the care, kindness and love bestowed on her, and us as the extended family was second to none. All the staff are credit to Anchor and certainly make Bloomfield Court the kind and caring place it is.

We really couldn't have chosen a better care home for Mom's final months. When Mom died the staff were so respectful and attentive, we were wrapped in such warmth, we cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for us.

Everyone treated myself, mom and my sister like part of the family. We were all treated with nothing but warmth and caring. Staff were all exemplary in their treatment of mom from Oct 24 to July 25. On the day mom passed all members of staff came to pay their respects. The staff from manager to carers, cleaners and cooks were all very professional yet having great empathy and affection for us as a family. They have all left a loving impression with us and keep them in our hearts. You should be so proud of all who are employed at Bloomfield Court.

My mom has been at Bloomfield Court for a year now. The staff are very good. The food and activities provided are also very good. If I have any concerns they are dealt with immediately. I feel mom has settled in nicely now and it makes me really happy when they have taken photographs of her when partaking in the activities provided. I am also asked regularly if I am happy with her care plan.
