Residents have the benefit of the Inspire programme, which enhances residents' activities, nutrition and overall experience. I can't thank all the staff at Hatton Grange enough for the wonderful care they have shown mum over the past four years; taking her on trips and activities; respecting her privacy and helping her remain dignified; laundering her clothes beautifully and keeping her room so clean; gently coaxing her to swallow ice-cream; showing an interest in her piano playing; always putting her watch on; painting her nails; combing her hair; phoning us when you knew we needed to be with her; trying your very best to keep her with us until I got home; and of course - the endless cups of perfect tea!

My mother has been living at Hatton Grange for 5 years and always had the best of care. The management and carers are supportive and kind, and always give their best.

I am very pleased with all the care, support and excellent care my mother is happy and content, well fed and clean. The home is very well decorated and kept clean. All the staff are so polite and very respectful.

The staff at the home are very professional at what they do and care for the residents. They are very helpful to the residents. The residents are looked after in a safe manner. I don't think they need to improve anything, as they are very caring.

It has been such a relief to know my mum is safe and happy.

It has been a rollercoaster in terms of a staff member being a nightmare and bringing a lot of unnecessary stress to my mum, who suffers from vascular dementia, but that has all been resolved by the management. I do feel that the staff are run off their feet and should be more if the home wants better results, but generally most of the staff are lovely and try they're best. The deputy manager is brilliant, as are most of the staff on the top floor where Mum is. The big concern for me is the cleanliness, and the top floor needs a new kitchen at times, it's disgustingly old, and it also needs a lick of paint. Been going 3 years, top floors have never been decorated, and looks very tired. It should also have electric gates, not secure enough, bad area.
My auntie has come to Hatton Grange as a permanent resident. She has settled in well and seems very happy. The staff are very friendly and caring and have helped her with any/all personal care needs.
