Excellent appearance, clean, perfect condition. Helpful staff, beautiful rooms. Like a hotel.
My friend is well looked after at Hatton Grange. The staff are helpful & attentive to her needs. She is mostly well, although has dementia. She brightens up with conversation. I consider Hatton Grange a comfortable, well run place for my friend to live.
Lovely home, very friendly professional staff. I'm very happy my mum is being cared for. Everyone seems very caring.
My mum has been living at Hatton Grange for the last 3 years. It has been a rollercoaster in terms of a staff member being a nightmare and bringing a lot of unnecessary stress to my mum, who suffers from vascular dementia, but that has all been resolved by the management. I do feel that the staff are run off their feet and should be more if the home wants better results, but generally most of the staff are lovely and try they're best. The deputy manager is brilliant, as are most of the staff on the top floor where Mum is. The big concern for me is the cleanliness, and the top floor needs a new kitchen at times, it's disgustingly old, and it also needs a lick of paint. Been going 3 years, top floors have never been decorated, and looks very tired. It should also have electric gates, not secure enough, bad area.
My auntie has come to Hatton Grange as a permanent resident. She has settled in well and seems very happy. The staff are very friendly and caring and have helped her with any/all personal care needs.
My husband is well cared for and is not distressed in any way. He is treated with courtesy and dignity and is always clean and tidy. Very satisfied after years of caring for him at home, and very reluctant to put him in other people's care. I'm more than happy. Thank you.
My mum's experience at Hatton Grange care home has been here 18 months now and we have not had a single complaint! It is a modern, clean and comfortable place with a really happy atmosphere. Most of the time my mum thinks she's on holiday so I couldn't ask for better than that. All the staff are friendly, happy and welcoming to both residents and visitors and this is what makes it a place where my mum wants to be and I like to visit.
Margaret has been a resident at Hatton Grange for 5 years next month. She is going to be 104 in August. The care she has had for all the years and continues to be is exemplary. That care is not just physical, because she is unable to walk, but the love and kindness that she receives is very much appreciated by her family. Also the management of the home is excellent.
My mum is new to the care home but excellent first impressions. Hatton Grange is clean and tidy and I brought some of my mum's pictures and bedding to make her bedroom more like home. All the staff I have met are friendly and approachable. There is a good choice of food and Mum is eating more now. There are several floors, with each floor having its own sitting and dining room, so there are small groups to manage. My mum is at risk of falling, so they check through the night but there is also a sensor in her bedroom which shows movement for added protection. Helps put my mind at rest.
From the moment mum arrived at Hatton Grange, the team have been very welcoming and supportive. Moving her into care was a big step for us, but the warmth and care from all of the staff has reassured us that she is in the best possible hands. The home itself is warm and inviting, with a lovely atmosphere. Lovely support and are happy to help answer our many questions. Thank you!
We are very pleased with the way my mum has settled in. The staff have been very supportive and have helped my family so much. They have put my mind to rest that mum is looked after and is safe and secure.
My sister is very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful and look after all her needs.
Mum has been a resident for three and half months and in that time we have noticed she is more relaxed and seems happy here. All staff are approachable and helpful and work hard with activities for residents. There appears to be a regular relatives meeting, which I am hoping to attend next time. There are two therapy dogs which I think is a great idea for the residents to pet, as it feels like a homely place. Overall we are happy and fortunate we found a care home that suits Mum's needs.
Some areas need a little TLC. Always a pleasure to visit Hatton Grange. Such a friendly place.
I would not recommend the dementia unit to any of my friends or family. Poor dementia care provided by staff. No consistency of staff. Communication from leadership was virtually non-existent. I more often than not found my Dad's bathroom dirty and had to request it was cleaned. The shower was broken and I had to request it be repaired. The food provided was of a poor quality. I often found residents were unsupervised in the lounge area because of understaffing. Leadership were unresponsive when confronted about issues and problems we faced with the dementia care we were receiving for my Dad. Leadership were never seen on the dementia floor. There was an activities timetable displayed on the wall but the family saw only one activity taking place. Needless to say, we moved my Dad out of Hatton Grange.
The service, care for residents, menu options, and activity program are all excellent. The premises are clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff always have time to listen, are friendly and very capable. Highly recommended.
The care is very good. The carers are very friendly and caring. My husband is very happy here. I like the fact that I can see him anytime. The food seems fine. They get plenty of drinks.
Since putting mine on in Hatton Grange her self care has improved. She is much happier and healthier. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I would like to say one staff member is especially helpful, friendly and always has a smile on his face.
My wife receives excellent care from a caring staff at Hatton Grange. I am kept fully informed of any changes in my wife's condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming at all times. I am very happy for my wife's care.
Since viewing Hatton Grange it's been a great relief. Staff have been brilliant getting my mum settled in. Staff are always on hand to help. Rooms fantastic, lovely and clean. Taken a few weeks to settle in but all is good.
