Anchor’s Hatton Grange in Hyde is a purpose-built residential care home, providing quality care and facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment for up to 70 people. They welcome new residents for respite care on a long-term basis.

Hatton Grange is proud to have achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation to be able to provide tailored care for veterans.

Facilities include a bistro and rock and roll room and Hatton Grange is located close to local amenities. The home provides residential and dementia care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. The team are supported through on-going training to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Residents have the benefit of the Inspire programme, which enhances residents' activities, nutrition and overall experience. The group reinvests the money made into their retirement properties and care homes, to continually raise standards to provide a high-quality service to surpass customers' expectations.

Find the staff are brilliant with patients. The home is airy and clean.

The staff work very hard and are lovely with the residents. Some are overworked and do not have time to spend with individuals who might need more care. The facilities are lovely, rooms and lounges. The laundry gets lost. It is very hard to get any extra care for the residents but that is not the fault
of the staff. Hatton Grange serves its purpose and they do it well.

My aunt who has lived independently for many years has moved to Hatton Grange to recover post-operative. She has settled extremely well and even though she could now return home she is choosing the extend her stay which speaks volumes for the staff here who are very professional and caring.

Mum has settled in now, the staff are warm and friendly meals are enjoyed. Covid restrictions are adhered to, so not been able to visit as often as I'd like but I do understand.
I wish the caregivers wore name badges other than that I am happy with the service.

Mum is cared for by lovely staff. If there has been a problem it is dealt with quickly and efficiently. Mum is safe and feels well looked after.

It's been a difficult 18 to 12 but the home and staff have managed to keep Mum safe and kept me updated on Mum. the portal proved invaluable in maintaining contact. Staff are approachable and friendly and mum continues to remain settled. Which is down to the care she's receiving. Thank you.

Hatton Grange is a well-designed purpose-built care home that provides an ideal environment for residents. My wife became a resident in February 2020 and quickly settled in. This was due, in large part, to the interest that the staff took in her. They took care to discover her interests and encouraged
her to paint and draw. I cannot speak highly enough of the care that she has received and the level of communication between our family has been first-rate.
The Coronavirus pandemic has been an extremely difficult time, with no visits being possible for many months, but the provision of a portal has enabled a member of the family to speak my wife each day. In short, I do not think that my wife could be better cared for.

It has been so difficult not seeing my grandma through lockdown but the home has made it so easy for myself and my family to communicate with her through this difficult time, we have had constant FaceTimes so we can still enjoy having a lovely conversation, the staff have been so understanding always
making time for us to take it in turns for a portal call even though we are such a big family.
I would never have thought we would be involved in something like a pandemic but I’m glad my grandma is in such a lovely home where you can see how caring and helpful the staff really are. Thank you each and every one of you from management to the team leaders, carers and domestic staff, even the kitchen staff and admin - each and every one of them do a fantastic job.

I think what makes this care home special is the staff, I have seen how much they really care about the residents of the home and want to ensure they are happy and have the residents well being as a priority. I love when visiting my grandma seeing how everyone makes a fuss over her as I know she loves
the attention! The home is super clean and just feels like a nice place to be.

My mum moved to Hatton Grange in February 2020. Considering residential care for our mum was the most difficult situation that we ever faced as a family. Over the years Mum had spoken about what she wanted from a care home should she ever need one and I feel that all her wishes have been met above
and beyond any of our expectations. Thank you so much!
Prior to lockdown, we were free to visit Mum whenever we wanted; we were always made so welcome. We have been free to decorate her room to her taste and style. The home is kept scrupulously clean at all times, it is always clean and fresh.
The staff take time to do loads of different activities with Mum, art, makeup, hair, nails, games, etc. My mum has lots of fun with the staff and lots of giggles.
The impression that we get is that she is really special to the staff and we love that.
Mum loves the food and sitting with others at mealtimes. I feel involved in my mum's care. Communication is excellent.

My Mum became a resident at Hatton Grange in February 2020 and settled in very quickly. The building is purpose-built and very light, airy and clean.
Mum's room is on the ground floor and opens up on to the gardens. There is ample storage space with wardrobe and drawers. There is an en suite with
shower, toilet and washbasin.
The carers are absolutely amazing providing the very best care for my Mum. They treat her as an individual having taken their time to get to know her. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
They are also extremely supportive to other family members making the transition from home to care home as worry-free as possible.
I write this review during the COVID 19 pandemic. During this time Hatton Grange have facilitated contact for Mum with all family members.
I would highly recommend Hatton Grange.

Both my parents have been cared for at Hatton since the end of February. Within two weeks they were on lockdown. The care they have received has been wonderful. One of the carers has kept us informed of our parent's progress and health. She has got to know their needs, likes and dislikes very quickly.
