My mother moved into Linwood a couple of months ago and I could not ask for kinder staff. They got to know and understand mum very quickly and I know she is in safe hands.
There is a lovely calm feeling about the place and my mum seem much happier and content.

My mum is very happy living in Linwood. We visit her often and everyone mentions what a happy home it is. My mum has made friends, and loves living there. The care is great, everyone is helpful and friendly. The management always have time for families and residents and work hard to make it a lovely

From the time my mum entered Linwood, I have found that she has been cared for and looked after by all the staff in a pleasant and very kind manner. The activities and entertainment provide great fun for all the residents. I am always kept up to date with my mum's progress.

Linwood is a caring and friendly home which always appears clean inside. My mother has been a resident for 3 years and has always been treated with kindness and respect. Especially when she had a fall and fractured her hip. The food looks tasty and appetising.

The manager and all the team at Linwood are just amazing. It's wonderful to see all the amazing events they organise for everyone at the home and the love and care they give, sometimes in difficult circumstances!
Recently my mother needed both medical care and help with loneliness and low mood and
her carer went the extra mile to make it happen, when I know those resources are really stretched.

My aunt has thrived since moving into Linwood she is 100 years old. She has experienced 2 admissions to hospital as she became very ill. On both occasions I thought she was end of life, Linwood brought her back to life. In December they gave her a birthday party to celebrate her 100th birthday. Together
with the other residents they had a lovely time, my aunt the life and soul of the party. She loved it. Thank you Linwood. I recommend this home. It is a real home.

Mum came to Linwood in October 2023 and has settled extremely well, more than we ever thought possible! All staff have been kind, caring and very attentive; it is clear that they take the time to get to know the residents and their individual needs and preferences. They make the effort to understand
each other as a person and treat them as they would their own family. Once when passing a room close to Mum I overheard a lady talking to the resident inside and assumed it was a family member, I was surprised to see it was a staff member, her manner was so warm and caring. The home is very approachable answers every query I have promptly, and contacts me with updates. The home is decorated to a high standard and conducive to a calm and pleasing environment. Mum's room is spacious and pretty with a large en-suite shower room. After years of angrily telling me she would never go into a home, she now thanks me for finding this place for her! She also loves the food, amazing for a picky eater!

My father took up residence at Linwood in June 2023. Dad is a quiet, reserved man who doesn't think he's old or sick. He needs gentle encouragement to participate and can be stubborn. Yet dad is generally very content,well cared for although he resist daily hygiene routines. The caring team are patient,
kind and have made friends with dad and they all enjoy polite banter and back chat. He's generally happy at Linwood.

I am responsible for a resident who lives at Linwood Care Home.
He had a fall and injured his leg which has been very swollen - at the same time he had bleeding from his right ear.
He was not at all well and the home was so caring of him. A particular staff member was on duty and her care and knowledge
were invaluable in helping him recover. My sincere thanks to her.
