My mother has been a resident of Linwood for 2 years. I frequently visit my mum and over the last two years, there has been a transitional improvement in all aspects of Mum's care. I find the staff, their attitude, their caring nature and upbeat humour in dealing with the residents on the ground floor
a pleasant and rewarding experience when I visit. I have peace of mind knowing my mum is safe and sound at 'Linwood'.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Linwood for the past 8 weeks. The staff are exceptionally caring and she has at all times been treated with dignity and respect. The care provided has been tailored to her individual needs and additional support has been provided by external agencies when required.
I have spent my career in healthcare and I am hugely impressed by the service and care provided at Linwood. Thank you.

I am pleased with the care provided for my father. The Linwood staff always appear to be engaged and happy to help. My father's room occasionally smells of 'drains' but I have asked about this and I believe it is being dealt with (no smell on 11/05/2024)

Generally very good care. Laundry is a major issue, had to buy more underwear again and often given the wrong clothes!

After just two weeks of residence in Linwood my friend is in great spirits each time I speak with him, and is very settled after such a short time and such a major adjustment. The whole team is so kind to him and also to me, and have made the whole moving-in process extremely easy. His room is homely,
with his pictures up on the wall thanks to the handyman, and the staff are responsive, professional and understanding when I call, make requests, have items delivered and so on.

Whenever I go to the home I am always greeted with a smile - which is always welcome. The staff seem to genuinely care for the patients/residents at the home. My great-aunt is 96 years old and they treat her with dignity, care, and attention. Always talking to her, making sure she is fed, watered, and
can be as active as she wishes to on any one particular day. They listen to the residents!

All the staff make you feel welcome and supported my wife very well. They were helpful and responded excellently to questions I had. The manager is brilliant and shows dedication. The food is excellent and delicious. They keep us informed daily of my wife's day-to-day health and activity. The housekeeping

Because of the urgency of finding my mother a home placement and my lack of visiting other homes in the past, I did not know what to expect at Linwood. I have been very impressed with the care, kindness, patience and understanding that everyone has shown towards my mother and, indeed, towards myself
and my family members. I think that many at Linwood have gone above and beyond on some occasions.
I am also aware that the amount of paperwork, inspections and rules to follow cannot be easy to accomplish in such a busy home.
Well done to all.

My mother has been made to feel very welcome. She is treated very well, with kind and considerate care.
The staff are very kind and caring, always taking great care of the residents. They have plenty of activities which they can join in if they want to.
She is quite happy here and has made some

My mother-in-law was at Linwood for nearly four years and she was very well cared for by the staff. It is a lovely home with a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are amazing. She was always clean and tidy and well looked after. They welcomed my mother-in-law back after a long hospital stay where she
was put on an end of life care plan. The staff did everything they could to enable her to return, for which we will always be grateful, even though she had many additional needs. She wanted to go back to Linwood and we were so pleased this was able to happen. Everyone was incredible and looked after her so well during this very difficult time until she passed away in May 2023. They were very kind and always kept in touch regarding her well-being and were a great support to us. I would highly recommend Linwood Care Home.

The most loving and beautiful environment, they are like family. Staff are fantastic and nurturing and they look after Mum so well.
They are fantastic with Dad too, when he comes to visit. Very personal and sympathetic. Love this place.

The staff at Linwood cared for our mother. They were so lovely and treated her with respect. The home was always spotless and clean. They always kept us informed and updated us on any concerns they had. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Linwood as a care home for your loved ones. After her passing,
they were extremely supportive and sincerely sorry to not be caring for her anymore.

The management and staff have always been very professional. They always contact me if there are any issues regarding my mother. They are always very pleasant and always have time to talk and discuss matters with me when I/they need to.
They go out of their way to ensure my mother has the best possible
care.
If she needs anything they always let us know.
As she is elderly and has dementia she can be extremely challenging at times but they always do their best to settle her. She always appears content, happy, clean and well-groomed.
Her room is always very clean as well as the home itself.
My mother has a very difficult, controlling demanding partner who thinks he knows the best for my mother and they deal with him in a very professional manner. They always state that my mother is their priority and will always do what is best for her even when he thinks he is correct.
We sadly had to remove my mother from her home as she needed a lot more care and attention.

My mother has been a resident of Linwood Care Home for two-and-a-half years and during this time she has been well cared for, with staff ensuring she is comfortable, well fed and as happy as she can be.
I've been particularly impressed since the most recent manager has come on board with the very
real efforts that have been made by all staff to cater to my mother's personal quirks and to her sometimes difficult moods. Communication between staff and family members has also improved a great deal.
Since pandemic restrictions have lifted, the range of activities and outings have also been very impressive!
