Good care. Good food. Good rooms. Attendance by some staff - very good.

Mum is so well looked after by all at the home. She joins in the activities, loves the food and is very comfortable in her room. I feel she is exceptionally well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The home is always clean, comfortable, and inviting. What has impressed me most is the positive difference Eastlake has made to my friend. They used to live at home and often felt lonely, but now they have plenty of company, are well looked after, and seem much happier. It's reassuring to know they are in such a caring and supportive environment. I would happily recommend Eastlake to anyone looking for a welcoming and compassionate care home.

Eastlake is a very clean care home and all rooms are kept well with no horrible smells, as commented by those visiting my mother. The staff are very friendly and many have been working there a long time giving the residents continuity in there care. The regular visits by opticians, chiropodists and hairdressers all help to keep the residents cared for. Regular visits from the local GP is well organised.

Really pleasant and friendly atmosphere, the team are really helpful and provide updates on mum's care regularly. Nice to see a wide range of entertainment put on for the residents across the home too.

My parents have been resident at Eastlake since March 2026 and the staff have been excellent at helping them, (particularly my mother), settle in and make the adjustment from living independently. My father now needs more care that could be provided at home and I am really pleased with how this has been implemented so far. All my interactions with the staff have been really positive.

Very Happy with the Care Mum is having at Eastlake she has settled much better than expected as she did not want to move initially but has Dementia and was and becoming isolated living at home alone. After three months she has become more sociable, enjoys the musical activities and making new friends. It gives us great relief to know she is so well looked after, taking her medication correctly, enjoying a variety of meals and is much more comfortable. Highly recommend Eastlake to anyone looking for somewhere for a loved one.

Basically I like living at Eastlake because I have my freedom and I can do what I want. I like the food, the chef manager is very good and his food is delicious. I like activities like bingo, exercises, especially my wellness program. Management team is approachable and ahead of the game. Housekeeping is good. Everything is spotless and care staff are extremely helpful. Also gentleman club is a good addition to overall activities.

I cannot recommend Eastlake Care Home highly enough. My dear friend and former neighbour was a resident of Eastlake up until the end of her years, and it was such a comfort to see how happy and genuinely well-cared for she was during her time with them. Every time I visited, the home was spotlessly clean and I was always greeted by a team of staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made such a difference. I did truly feel like she was in a 'home from home' and it felt like a place where she wasn't just a resident, but was surrounded by love and dignity. Thank you to the entire team for providing such a supportive and warm environment, especially towards the end of her life, it was such a comfort to know she was in good hands and that's all I could wish for.

The whole experience was 5* and I personally would highly recommend Eastlake to anyone who is looking for a place for a loved one.

My dad has been at Eastlake for two months in respite which has now become permanent. The home is wonderful. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the food, accommodation, atmosphere, activities and care are really outstanding. Dad is really happy at Eastlake, and we have seen such a difference in him (for the good) since he has been at Eastlake. The management and entire care team have been so kind and supportive, which has taken a massive load off mum's and my shoulders in particular. I can relax in the knowledge that he is being well looked after, he is safe, has a proper routine again, and most importantly, he is happy at Eastlake. There is also far more stimulation, social interaction etc for him in this environment than there was when he was at home. I would strongly recommend Eastlake and am extremely grateful to all the team for what they are doing for Dad, which allows me to be his daughter again. Thank you.

Eastlake is a home from home for residents. The level of care and kindness is unbelievable. All staff members are cheerful, and always happy to help in any way. They went over and above to make our family member welcome and settled, a lot sooner than we had expected. The manager is very professional, and friendly and approachable. The overall feeling of this home is a great team of caring staff. What more could we ask for? Eternally grateful to all!

I visit Eastlake once a week to assist and take out a blind resident.

Mum came to Eastlake for respite. She wasn't happy and was adamant she was going home at the end of the 4 weeks. We visited daily to help her settle in. The first few days she wanted to stay in her room but that changed when the carers came to her room and encouraged her to go to the activities. Mum isn't used to doing things on her own so it meant a lot that all the staff helped her settle in. Mums 4 weeks are at an end and she doesn't want to leave! The staff are all so lovely, they really do care. Everything has been well thought out to encourage independence with safety in mind. Everyday is a treat. Mum loves the food and choices available. There's always freshly baked cakes, biscuits and fresh fruit to help themselves to. Tea and coffee Is always being offered. I feel so lucky to have found Eastlake for mum. She is in the best place and I know she is happy and safe all of the time. Thank you to everyone at Eastlake for making mum and us feel so welcome and part of the family.

My mother died at Eastlake in August 2024, having lived there for nearly 10 years. We are so grateful to the Eastlake staff for the love and respect they showed to mum. The tenderness with which carers spoke of mum and took care of her was beautiful. Eastlake's open-door policy has meant that we've been able to treat Eastlake as a second home. We always felt welcome and we could enjoy time with mum knowing that her needs were being met. I recommend Eastlake to everyone who is looking for a care home, it's a special place.

My wife has lived in Eastlake for a couple of years, following a diagnosis of Dementia, and caring advice from Social Services that, because of illness, I was no longer capable of looking after her at home. In hindsight, I have no regrets. Eastlake is knowledgeable, purpose-built, smallish, two stories, in relateable size units, and a pleasant garden. The rooms are en-suite, fitted with the usual aids, and with a view into the garden. The units each have a lounge and dining room opening out of a large hallway with comfortable chairs. My wife often sits in the hallway. I sit with her and, as a by-the-way, have a good view of the activity. What I see and hear squares up with what I would expect as 'best practice'. At a more individual level, my wife was hospitalised after a fall, and her re-entry to Eastlake was made possible by the intelligent use of a hoist, rotunda, and wheelchair. When I visit, the staff greet me by name and with the offer of tea and biscuits. Nice!

My mother came to Eastlake as she has Alzheimer's, had started refusing entry to her home by her visiting carer and no longer initiated eating or drinking enough. She had lost a lot of weight and had become frail and wobbly. Since being at Eastlake she has been filled with support and kindness and a social environment. The food is truly excellent she has now regained the weight she lost and looks much more healthy despite the inevitable decline in her cognitive function. She is safe and well looked after and no longer a worry.
