Eastlake in Godalming is situated close to the South Downs National Park. The home continues to welcome new residents and provides residential and dementia care for up to 52 residents in homely and comfortable single ensuite rooms.

Eastlake is operated by Anchor, they are England's largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people over the age of 55 years with more than 60 years of experience in the sector.

They work with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans, ensuring individual health and care needs are continually met. Priding themselves on their dementia care, staff are provided with on-going training so that their approach always reflects best practice, working hard to get to know customers and build relationships.

Friendly welcoming. Staff are caring and kind. Sometimes communication is a problem and messages regarding client don't always get passed on.
Overall, however, a lovely atmosphere and a secure, caring environment.

My mother has been a resident at Eastlake for nearly a year. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. She has calmed down over the last year and has now resigned herself to have to live out her final years at Eastlake.

All the staff from reception, carers, catering, cleaners, team leaders and management are always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
My mother has been treated with dignity and care during her settling in months. She has had some unexpected health problems and they have been dealt with swiftly
and with compassion. I am very impressed with the service.

I believe this to be an excellent care home. The staff are kind and patient, and the residents are clean and well dressed and looked after with care. It is always a pleasure to visit and we are made very welcome. There are lots of activities and a dog and two cats, which I think is a very good idea.
I have not visited any rooms, but the communal areas are always clean and the whole place is inviting. I do not know the costs so do not know if it is good value - but I expect so.

My mum was a resident for the last 3months of her life. I was delighted to find such a clean and delightful place. It was like a hotel. All residents washing is done individually. I have continued to visit another resident since my mum died, find it a very pleasant place.

My father lived at Eastlake for nearly three years until his death in August 2016. He was very happy there and always commented on the kindness of the carers. Some carers found time to talk to him about his interests and his past life and he appreciated this. Although he did not usually enjoy group
activities he was pleased when carers played cards or Scrabble with him in his room. There were occasional practical issues that I found hard to resolve, but my father was not aware of this and he certainly had no complaints about the care he received. Whenever he was asked if everything was all right he would say that, yes, everyone was very kind.

An extremely friendly and welcoming establishment. Staff are very approachable and will do anything to help and assist you. Food is excellent and varied, and caters well to elderly people. As my mother is quite active would like more activities for her to do.
