We visited my cousin without prior warning. All aspects of Eastlake impressed, from the standard of the accommodation and facilities to the sympathetic manner of all the staff that we encountered.

Eastlake's staff are what makes it such a delight to go to, to visit my Mum.
The place is also spotlessly clean and never smells like some my Mum was in before.
There is always a positive 'can do' response from everyone when Mum requests anything or a request from her family.

I would like Mum to do more activities which are abundant but appreciate that she can be strong-willed and refuse.

We have been so impressed by the care my mother has received here over the past 6 months. The home is well organised and residents are actively encouraged to join relevant activities, promoting inclusion. Liaison with GP and other services is very good, quickly observing and following up on resident's care/health needs. I am so glad that my Mum is here and she too is happy, appreciating the caring atmosphere. Excellent.

I was very sceptical of coming to Eastlake. When I arrived, I wanted to leave after one day. Now that I'm here, I want to stay. I would love to live here.

My mother has been at Eastlake for 5 years and we have nothing but praise for the staff and the amenities. Mum is treated with care and dignity. The food is wonderful, there are many interesting activities and we always feel welcome when we come to her 'home'. The presence of cats/dog in the home greatly assists in the 'homey' feeling and we love this.

Every time I visit my friend at Eastlake she looks calm, happy, clean, well-fed and well-cared for. She tells me the food is excellent and also the carers are very kind. Also, there is plenty of stimulation, which can be sorely lacking in other establishments. Eastlake is, in my opinion, the best care home for miles.

My 102-year-old mother has been in Eastlake for six years and looks happier and healthier now than she did ten years ago. Eastlake is not the most luxurious or swanky care home I've visited, but it more than makes up for that in the warmth and compassion it's staff give to its residents and the friendly ambience it creates for residents and their visitors. I thank the whole team every day mum spends there.

Friendly welcoming. Staff are caring and kind. Sometimes communication is a problem and messages regarding client don't always get passed on.

Overall, however, a lovely atmosphere and a secure, caring environment.

I believe this to be an excellent care home. The staff are kind and patient, and the residents are clean and well dressed and looked after with care. It is always a pleasure to visit and we are made very welcome. There are lots of activities and a dog and two cats, which I think is a very good idea. I have not visited any rooms, but the communal areas are always clean and the whole place is inviting. I do not know the costs so do not know if it is good value - but I expect so.

My mum was a resident for the last 3months of her life. I was delighted to find such a clean and delightful place. It was like a hotel. All residents washing is done individually. I have continued to visit another resident since my mum died, find it a very pleasant place.

My father lived at Eastlake for nearly three years until his death in August 2016. He was very happy there and always commented on the kindness of the carers. Some carers found time to talk to him about his interests and his past life and he appreciated this. Although he did not usually enjoy group activities he was pleased when carers played cards or Scrabble with him in his room. There were occasional practical issues that I found hard to resolve, but my father was not aware of this and he certainly had no complaints about the care he received. Whenever he was asked if everything was all right he would say that, yes, everyone was very kind.

An extremely friendly and welcoming establishment. Staff are very approachable and will do anything to help and assist you. Food is excellent and varied, and caters well to elderly people. As my mother is quite active would like more activities for her to do.
