Townend Close is an excellent facility where Mum has been cared for and treated with dignity. The Staff are friendly and consistent. We are kept in the 'Care Loop' and are part of the family.

Mum has a lot of care needs and these are met and exceeded at Townend Close by every member of staff, from the carers who look after her in a friendly, kind and efficient way, to the kitchen staff who ensure she has the food she likes, and the cleaning staff who are responsible for her room looking lovely. She always looks well-groomed and smart, and has all that she needs to hand. There is excellent medical care when needed from the nearby doctor's surgery, and the optician comes to the home for eye tests and new glasses. All in all, I have complete peace of mind that she could not be better looked after, and I'm grateful to all of the staff for their continued care.

Townend close has cared fantasticly for my dad during his respite care there. He also attends weekly respite days, where all staff, including the chefs, go above and beyond to care for dad.

My dad has been living at the home for some time now and my overall experience has been positive. The staff are approachable and take time to listen to any questions I have about his care & support. They make sure he is comfortable & all his medical needs are well managed. He is treated with dignity & I can see that they genuinely care about his wellbeing. The home is always lively, with staff & residents involved in activities. Although Dad prefers his room, they gently encourage him to often speak to some of them. The rooms & facilities are clean & safe, the food is good. Management are supportive & the whole place feels well run. For the care & peace of mind they provide, I feel it offers good value for money.

Townend is a lovely, caring home , mum was in here for 7 months and her care and the kindness shown to her while resident was second to none . The carers are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and I was kept informed all the time she was in of her health etc. The meals provided were excellent with a great choice every day and mum really enjoyed them . Lots of activities too if residents want to participate and lovely garden too. The rooms are kept clean and laundry is great ,arriving back in the room within hours .10/10

All staff provide excellent care and I am regularly updated where relevent. My queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Senior staff are always available for updates/chats - and all staff treat the residents with care and dignity. The atmosphere in the home is always pleasant and comfortable.

My mother suffers from mixed dementia and came for a week's rest initially and has chosen to stay. The staff have been very helpful and understanding of our situation. They have been very welcoming towards us all. My mother has a better quality of life being here with plenty of socialising with other residents and they have things going on through the day to keep the residents occupied. We can't fault the care home or its staff, all are wonderful.
My aunt is very well cared for. The carers are attentive to her every need. I get updated regularly as to her care plan and needs. I can always have a chat with one of the ream if I have any concerns. Overall I am more than happy with the care and attention my aunt receives.

My mum needs a high standard of care and this is what she is constantly given. Previously, we looked at several options in close proximity, and we can honestly say that Townend close is top of the table. The rooms are modern clean and fitted out to a very high standard. It is also noticeable that there is a constant service and maintenance plan both internally and externally. The gardens and surroundings are well maintained throughout the year and offer the residents an outside space to relax and appreciate the nice outlook. Many of the staff have worked there for many years. Highly recommend.
