After having to look for somewhere for my mum to to be cared for was a daunting process. It wasn't easy letting go of everything I was used too and putting my trust into a home with staff who didn't know mum.
How can you find the right home with good staffing numbers which covered her care needs as
well as an activity program. How can you pack a life time of belongings into 1 room and have your own bathroom with walk in shower and kitchette and how could I trust somewhere wash and iron her clothes like I did.
Thomas Henshaw Court has exelled my expectations and it's hard to put into words how I feel.
ALL staff are dedicated compassionate and caring and go above and beyond and are there for both mum and me. Mum gets cuddles, banter, laughs, outings, activities, lovely food, perfectly laundered clothes and reassurance when she's upset and confused.
Every time I walk out of Thomas Henshaw I think how lucky I am that my precious mum is in the right place.

What a lovely care home. My mum has been at Glendale since February and has settled in very well. It is nice to know that when all family member's leave. We are happy + that mum is in capable hands of the staff. Mum loves the activities and has made some nice things so she can keep in her room. The
rooms are lovely and kept very clean and what I like is the windows are opened every day for some fresh air.

My husband went into The Beeches in November 2025 from a previous care home facility which he had only been in a couple months it was a very traumatic time for us as a family trying to find alternative care. Beeches was very understanding regarding previous issues we had faced and we were assured that
the transition for my husband would be made as easy as it possibly could. Staff were very welcoming and management very reassuring on our visit, any concerns we have come across have been dealt with by staff or management. On the whole we are pleased with the care my husband is receiving.

Knowing any family member going into a home is quiet daunting but save to say my worries have been erased of what I thought iv been reassured all the way and seeing my mother so happy and she can be vocal if she isn't happy but the staff are very good and with all her care , the presence I get when
I turn up and the positive information I get ref my mother , even my family mention I'm a lot happier as well as my mother is and it's very reassuring that she has know worries , and enjoys her meals and if she wants anything that isnt on the menu they make her , seeing my mum smile more is a plus as when she lived at home she became distant but now has a new lease of life , the staff are lovely if I was to have a problem I can ring any time if the day to answer me which I haven't as yet I'm giving a 10/10 overall thank you west hill Kettering

Thank you to Jacquie, Ashley and the team for making my aunt's transition to St Joseph's so positive. Moving into care is not an easy decision for a family, but right from the start St Joseph's have been reassuring and kind.
My aunt has settled in very quickly. She has a lovely room and when we call
on the phone, she sounds genuinely happy. Knowing she is safe and surrounded by lots of people who can help her is such a relief. She's made friends, enjoys lots of activities and often says it feels like a lovely hotel, apparently the food is exceptional! The environment is light, airy and well cared for, and the staff are consistently friendly and approachable. Access to a doctor has also been straightforward, which gives real peace of mind. We're very grateful for the care and support shown to both my aunt and our family, it really does make all the difference.

Moving mum to Willows from hospital was so easy. The management team put our minds at rest and all went smoothly.
The rooms are cosy and clean and well maintained.
The carers are so lovely and really take the time to get to know all their residents. They always have time for a chat and a catch up.
Christmas was so magical and fun. We have been so impressed we also moved our 102 year old aunt in also.

Over from Ireland for my brother's 70th birthday. All the staff are so welcoming, helpful with genuine love and attention. A lovely birthday party was put on with cake. Made him and us feel very special under a sad and difficult illness that is dementia. So comforting to know he is so well cared for,
fed really well. In lovely surroundings, but most importantly cared for. To stay thanks in so many ways for all you do for him. Bless you all. x

All staff are lovely, very helpful. The entrance looks amazing inside and out. They do a brilliant job, whatever their role. But I do think the food could improve with more fresh veg instead of mostly frozen.
Reply from Samantha Bell, Manager at Ferendune CourtThank you for taking the time to review Ferendune Court and we are pleased you rate our safety and security as excellent. Thank you for your kind feedback regarding our entrance area. I will ensure that our team are aware of your lovely comments. Our catering team take into account each residents' preferences and dietary needs. When advised by health professionals, we arrange modified diets. Dad moved into Wynyard Woods after a decline in his dementia, following a hospital stay and period of assessment. From the start of the admission process to his settling in, he and the family have been treated with the utmost aspect, and for the first time I felt that we as a family had a voice and
could advocate for him. Wynyard Woods really listened to us and ask about him as an understatement. They are amazing kind caring and supportive.

My Father in Law recently moved into Millfield after many months of deliberation. He has readily accepted this as his new home and appreciates the care and the social interaction which is available with both the other residents and dedicated staff. His own room meets all his requirements in a safe environment
and kept spotlessly clean, supported by the excellent catering on site which provides piece of mind to the rest of his family who are able to visit at every opportunity.
