My husband has been on respite in Landemere for around 3 weeks now. The care home has a very calm and caring atmosphere. They are trying very hard to involve him in their activities and to find the things that interest him. I feel that they are keeping him safe, and making his stay as happy as possible. I hope very much that the respite stays will be made into a permanent stay.

We feel so lucky that Landmere care home was an option available from our first minute in 2024 up to today. The home, the staff, facilities all exceed our expectations. People like Nina, Toni show true care, compassion when looking after people. I am kept fully informed of medical or personal issues regarding my mum.

When I visited Landemere I said it has a nice feeling, mum moved 2 mths ago and settled really well. I think this is due to staff being kind, caring and friendly. The meals are amazing, the home is clean and well maintained. Family and friends are made to feel welcome. I visit mum daily and can see mum looks well and happy. She’s got nice relationships with the staff that care for her, when visitors ask how she likes living here she says its like “home from home”. Things are not always perfect but on the whole its really good. It all goes back to that "nice feeling when you walk in”.

My mum moved to Landemere July 2025 after ill health. She'd had some years of carers and family looking after her at home but still felt lonely and wanted company, people to interact with on a daily basis.
Our family helped my mum to visit a few care homes but the moment my mum walked into Landemere she said it 'felt like home'.
All the staff made my mum feel welcome, and residents made an effort to talk to my mum on that visit.
It took a few weeks for mum to settle in but now there's a routine, activities daily and my mum as made a few friends but already has a best friend that she regularly chats with.
My family are so happy we don't have to worry about my mum getting medication or meals anymore and that she's in the safe hands of lovely caring staff.

Our mum gets regular visits and as all her needs catered for.

We were worried about having to move dad into a care home. But we didn't need to have worried as he has settled in really well.
He has a good relationship with the staff and other residents and is always telling us how lovely they all are.
Dad is thriving, it was a good decision.

We would happily recommend this care home.

From finding out, while visiting mum in hospital that there was accommodation available at Landemere, to her moving in was conducted efficient and smoothly. The whole team are extremely professional and accommodating and understanding. Within 24 hours of mum moving in she was getting dressed. Something she hasn't done in six months.

To see her down in the lounge for dinner and joining in with activities in something I never expected to see, Thank you very much to all the Landemere team.

It was the hardest decision we had to make for our mum to go into a care home. She had dementia but I knew as soon as I looked round it was the right home for her. All the staff took excellent care looking after our mum. Knowing she was being cared for, meant a lot to the family.

My mum has been here since the start of April 2025. When I came to look round before my mum moved in I was impressed from the start how ALL the staff team were so friendly and caring and compassionate and professional to their residents and family and friends and consistently do enough to help and support the residents and family and friends. I still hold this view and really pleased how my mum has settled in and is liking it here.

Peace of mind is immeasurable. When we walked int the home everything just felt right. When we saw my father-in-law the difference in him was startling.
He was clean, happy, chatty and in very good health.
Couldn't have wished for more.

Thank you!

Wow! What alittle gem! Our mother hated the thought of going into a Home, but due to failing health at the age of 91, she needed help. We were recommended Landemere by a friend and how that conversation changed all our lives. Mum loves it here and in her words, 'it's nice to be home!' She's had a couple of falls since arriving in February and the staff couldn't be more concerned, attentive and more importantly, mum is their priority, with family being kept upto date immediately. In a society of cutbacks, low wages and lack of respect for carers, the staff at Landemere work incredibly hard, are welcoming and love their residents like their own; it's so friendly. Landemere's manager and his team are a credit to the caring service and mum is happy.

I visit my friend on average twice a week since she arrived at Landemere care home. I am always greeted by staff and can discuss any queries or make requests and feel happy and comfortable doing so. I do not always meet the manager, but my friend appreciates the attention of all the staff and their care on a daily basis. I would personally choose this care home for myself or family.

My mother was very upset leaving her house to go into the care home but the staff have been so lovely, welcoming and kind. After two days my mum said to me "It's good here" that was such a relief for me. I can relax knowing mum is well cared for physically and mentally. It is good to see mum joining in activities after being on her own for many years. It is really a happy and safe home for her, and credit to the staff.

My wife is a full-time resident at the Landemere.
She is very happy and settled in a caring and loving environment.
The management and staff are friendly, helpful and responsive and they maintain a homely atmosphere throughout the home.
They do their best to provide varied entertainment and crafts for the residents and also include their visitors when suitable.
My wife has been a resident in the Landemere for six years and I can honestly say that I have never regretted her being there and I have always thought of my visits to see her and all the staff as a pleasure.

Highly recommended.

On the whole, we are very pleased with the spirit with which the staff are taking care of my mum. The staff are very pleasant and caring. They provided an English-Ukrainian dictionary to facilitate communication. They provided flashcards in her language and got 10 books in her language from the library. She also has a TV with her favourite comedy. We are absolutely impressed with the level of cleanliness of the facility. We are very thankful and pray that God will bless all staff with the desires of their hearts.
