Landemere

I continue to be impressed with the care my mother receives at Landemere and any concerns I had that a change of home manager would change the atmosphere have been quickly dispelled. The manager has made a point of getting to know residents and family members from the very beginning and is very approachable. All very reassuring.

I've only been in Landemere for five weeks but I love it here. The staff can't do enough for you. They run their legs off and always have a smile on their faces.

My mother has been at Landemere for 6 months. The staff are wonderful, the events are a pleasure, full of fun and always trying to please and entertain the residents. Care staff work exceptionally hard and show camarrody.

I have to say I find every member of the care home team here outstanding always willing to help friendly and of course, caring can only highly recommend it. Landemere only have positive experiences, don’t think about it keep anchor in your mind, amazing.

I am very happy with Landemere. The staffing level is good and staff are attentive and caring. Mum is content here too, which is important to her family.

My experience of Landemere is that the staff are excellent in their care and respect for my mother. I cannot recommend Landemere too highly! It is an excellent care home.

My brother very well cared for he is always clean and well presented. He appears to be well fed and plenty of drinks are offered. He has only been in Landermere for a few weeks but seems to have settled in quite well.

Landemere staff are very friendly and helpful. My mum has been in the home for nearly twelve months now and the change in her is very calm and settled, this is down to the Landemere staff and being in friendly and supporting surroundings.

My gran has been a resident for a couple of years at Landemere and I can honestly say she has thrived since being there. There is lots to do at Landemere to keep my gran occupied and she loves a good game of Bingo. The staff are lovely and always welcoming. I would have no hesitation to recommend Landemere to anyone.

My mum was placed at Landemere for some much needed respite after we as a family had hit crisis point. My mum has vascular dementia and was fading away from us. After a week at Landemere, the change in Mum was amazing, my mum seemed to come back to life. Every time we visited or did FaceTime, my mum was happy, well presented and seemed so much better in herself. The staff have been fabulous, pulling out all the stops to ensure we could see or communicate with Mum. We cannot thank the staff enough for the support and care they have given to us and especially my mum. We feel like going to Landemere has given us our mum back. Thank you, you are all angels.

Landemere is a lovely setting for my mum to be cared for. She is very safe there and content. The facilities are excellent and the staff are always welcoming and friendly and always seem to have a smile on their face. My mother looks better now with the care she receives than she did when she was at home and me and my family are sure she would not be here now if she had not gone into Landemere. Very happy with all aspects of the home.

The staff are warm and friendly and I give credit to them during the challenging year we have had.

I am reviewing this on behalf of my mother who has been a resident now for over a year. The staff have been excellent and looked after our mother very well, especially over this challenging last twelve months when it has been nice to know she is safe and well cared for. Visiting and communication during the pandemic has been very good with only a few weeks when we were unable to see her. The staff have been very helpful in arranging visiting and video calls enabling her to see her grandchildren as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Landemere care home to anybody.

Whilst I find the members of staff very pleasant and wanting to help - there has been more that one occasion where communication has been poor and finding out information about my mother has been difficult particularly around regular hospital and doctor appointments.
