Thank you and staff for all you had done caring for mum. She was a very quiet and nervous person but was beginning to become more sociable as time passed. It's a shame her time at St Anne's Saltash was shorter than expected but I know she felt safe and cared for, which in turn made me feel I had
ensured she was in a good caring place. Thank you all.

From the first phone call to enquire about availability to nan's last day at the home, all staff I encountered were welcoming and accommodating. Nan was well looked after and fed very well. When she became poorly the staff not only cared for her but looked after myself and my dad (asking if we
wanted tea/coffee or anything to eat, whilst we were sat with her). I cannot thank them enough for all their support and kind words at the end. Anyone who stays here will have the best time and be looked after very well.

Mum spent the last year and half in St Anne's. Sadly she passed away in December 2025.
I cannot fault the staff as mum loved them and they went above and beyond and built a great relationship with her. As a family we also built a great relationship too and really appreciated how they all took care
of our mum. They really care for the residents.
Sadly the dynamics have changed and it felt like the budget was being squeezed and staff were not as happy as before. They didn't hold a Xmas fair, or raffle in December and they removed the little shop that was there for residents. Also, they recently stopped the cinema evenings which it was clear the residents loved.
I raised a concern regarding the cleanliness of the room, which was dealt with and the team they have now are amazing. Mum said it was the cleanest her room had been.
I just hope that Anchor recognise what great staff they have and make them feel appreciated and that they can overcome the issues. Thank you so very much x

My mother's experience at St Anne's Care Home was exemplary. Josie stayed for an initial week as respite. My initial contact and introduction was with a lady called Sharon. She was brilliant, very welcoming, informative and pulled all the strings to make everything so very easy. Josie was greeted
upon her arrival but management and members of staff. A very nice way to start her experience. The room and her meals were very good, and entertainment was twice a day, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were all polite, smart and just lovely. Many, many thanks to you all. A five star experience. Josie hopes to see you all again soon.

My mother stayed here for a 2 week respite with the option of ongoing care here! As soon as we walked though the door it was homely and welcoming! Her room was clean and spacious even had a little kitchenette so she could have a little bit of independence if she wanted it! The dining room, Day room
and tv room are bright and airy, and all in the 1950's style with was lovely! The food looked amazing! The staff went above and beyond to help her settle in and make her feel safe and welcome! I would love to be in a home like this when my time comes! Thank you St Anns for making it so nice for mum and for making a stressful situation into an easy one!

My mother was fortunate to spend the final 2 and a half years of her life in this care home. When you walk through the doors, it feels so different to the archetypal care home. It's light, bright and modern, no unpleasant aromas and a cheerful welcome from all the staff you encounter. It feels like
a hotel rather than a residential home.
My mother's room was amazing. Ensuite facilities and a small kitchenette which made her feel self contained and safe. She valued her privacy and this was very important in helping her settle and feel at home. She had a choice of eating in the dining room with the other residents or staying in her room. The staff always facilitated her choices and she appreciated their efforts.
The food is exemplary and of a high standard.
My mother passed away in June and our family are indebted to all the amazing staff at St Annes. They were compassionate, kind, empathetic and cared for us too. It is a great comfort to our family; we shall be eternally grateful.

Everyone at the home are extremely pleasant. They are patent and kind. They take the time to learn about the resident, family connections etc. They take time to find out their favourite needs, where they like to go, what time they like to go to bed and what time they like to get up. All in all an
extremely pleasant atmosphere to be in.

The staff at St Anne's continue to provide a high standard of compassionate and positive care for Mum who has now been a resident for nearly two years. As her needs have changed over that time they have been responsive in altering her care plan and take a truly person-centred approach. St Anne's is
a positive environment both in terms of the high standard of decor and cleanliness but also due to the warm, welcoming and cheerful attitude of the staff. Thank you again for all that you are doing.

We viewed St Anne's when it became necessary to source residential care for my Mother. We were so impressed!
Staff - Everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming. It also struck us that St Anne's is well-staffed.
Premises - so clean and well maintained. Careful thought has been given to
make it as near to a home from home as possible.
My Mother after a difficult start has now settled in and is well cared for. Many thanks.

My mother has been a resident of St Anne's for the last two years and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. St Anne's put on a 100th birthday party for residents and family on the big day and ensured that the occasion was marked in style. A few days later St Anne's provided the upstairs lounge
for a small family and friends party which was attended by the local mayor. Both parties were greatly enjoyed by Mum and all who attended. Over the last two years my mum has been looked after with great love and care by all the staff at St Anne's. She greatly enjoys the many activities organised by St Anne's, especially the singing. Our family greatly appreciates the care and kindness Mum is shown. St Anne's is a great place for the residents to live. It is a safe and caring environment.
