I regularly visit my friend at random times and have always found the staff friendly and helpful, the home looking clean and bright. My friend says the food is excellent, the staff helpful and caring to her needs. I can't comment on value for money as I don't know the cost of staying there or how the management structure works.

Mum has been a resident at St Anne's for the past six years (May 2014. The care she receives is excellent, and she is very happy. All her needs are met, and she still has her independence. The home is always clean, and the food is good. All the staff are very helpful and caring, to both residents and their relatives. I know that Mum is safe, especially now with the covid threat to care homes. It's the staff that make this such an excellent care home, and I would and have recommended it to others. Thank you, St Anne's, for all you do.

I can't speak too highly of the way the staff at St Anne's have managed the difficulties of lockdown for their residents and their families. Throughout the time when families were unable to visit, I received regular newsletters and photographs in addition to the Skype sessions they were able to organise for us. This enabled us to see how Mum was enjoying all the various activities provided, including VE Day celebrations, a Hawaiian afternoon and plenty of 'exercise' sessions.
Since outside visits have been introduced, which have been very well managed, it has been clear that the residents' wellbeing has remained at the heart of St Anne's care for all.

Thank you all at St Anne's for not only keeping everyone safe and well but also in such good spirits.

My mother has resided here for almost 4 years now and she is very happy. The staff at St Anne's are wonderful, caring, kind and loving, she is cared for better than I could do which makes me very happy. The home itself is well maintained and very clean and there is always an activity of some sort so the residents are kept entertained and can interact if they wish. I cannot express how glad I am that I chose St Anne's.

My mother was admitted to St Anne's for respite care after a hospital stay. The staff were very friendly and caring. They treated Mum with respect and encouraged her to meet other residents. Her room was very pleasant with interesting views and plenty of storage space.

The decor in the corridors was delightful and the whole building had a very homely atmosphere.

I have been very impressed by the facilities, senior management and all carers at this home. My parent has received excellent care since becoming a resident and despite not wishing to leave her own home has settled quickly and happily. My highest praise perhaps is 'it doesn't feel like a care home'.

When you walk into St Anne's, you are met with smiling faces and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are full of fun but very conscientious. The ambience at St Anne's is very homely and welcoming and with the tasty and varied menus comes very close to your own home. I am very pleased with the care my mother is receiving. Thank you St Anne's!

The staff are friendly, caring and always happy to see us. Our mother settled in very quickly which was a nice surprise to me. The communication of independence (kitchenette or shower room) with care suites her well. She loves to meet with her friends over dinner and tea and really enjoys the trips out and visits from animals.

During the time (just over 12 months) my mother was at St Anne's Care Home she was treated with kindness, dignity and compassion at all times. The staff were always available if we had any concerns and they helped us all through a difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for all their care for mum and all the family.

My mother is very happy at St Anne's. She feels comfortable and well cared for. The staff are wonderful and care for her in an affectionate and kind way.

She loves the food and looks forward to mealtimes.

Having been very ill last year, her recovery and present good health, at 99, is miraculous.

The home has done everything in its power to make mums life as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as it possibly can be, even if she hasn't always been able to appreciate it! They have never been deterred and are truly exceptional in their efforts for mum. She has been extremely happy and content after an initial adjustment period when the staff were patient, sympathetic and caring. What more could one want!?

After a fall and stay in the hospital, my aunt went to stay at St Anne's.
At first, she was shy as she had been living on a farm on her own for 8 years. Over the months she made friends and became a member of the community. In the evenings she used to visit others who couldn't get out of their rooms, this was mainly due to the fact the staff encouraged her and supported her and she was made to feel part of the family and her views respected.
During her last few weeks at the home, she was happier than I had ever seen her in many years. She was taking part in social events and even planning a new outfit for Christmas.
She loved it when the manager called to have a chat.

The staff even arranged to take her friends to her funeral.

My mother has settled well into St Anne's. She likes the company of other residents and enjoys the trips out. She says the food is good and always looks forward to meal times. The only complaint she has is the feeling of being imprisoned and not being able to go for a walk when she wants too. She knows it's for her own safety.

I cared for my mother in her home for five years and when she became unable to carry on living alone and became a danger to herself, my brother and I decided to place her at St Anne's knowing that it was an excellent care home. She has settled well. It has helped her speech and her depression and anxiety. She has friends and enjoys the games and activities provided in the home. Sometimes she goes on the outings in the minibus. She smiles now, something rarely seen before entering and settling in the home. St. Anne's has actually improved her quality of life. She has her hair done by the hairdresser frequently and nail polish put on by one of the carers. Staff are very caring, friendly and approachable. If there are any problems they are sorted out quickly. I wish every care home could be as good as this.

We visited my aunt on 4 occasions over 3 days. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. We saw consistent evidence of my aunt being treated with the utmost respect, courtesy and care. The home was clean. We saw an activity sheet which she was given, showing a wide range of activities she could join in with. She was given choices about when to get up, have meals, have a shower, go to bed etc. Staff knocked on the door before entering. We saw evidence that the staff are trained in dementia care and are aware of visual impairment. We were very impressed.
