Chyvarhas have been amazing with their care for our beloved mum who was receiving palliative care. All the staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. They looked after all the famliy too, made sure Dad had a cooked meal every day, Michael, Wandie, Katie, Hannah, Judith, Jackie,
special thanks to them all. You are all amazing & we will be forever grateful.

The team at this care home looked after my grandmother with exceptional kindness and professionalism right up until the end of her life. Every member of staff showed genuine compassion, took time to get to know her, and treated her with dignity. Communication was always clear, and we were kept fully
informed and supported as a family. The atmosphere was welcoming, the home was clean and comfortable, and my grandmother was always made to feel safe and valued. I'm deeply grateful for the care they provided and would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be truly looked after.

My father was at this amazing care home for end of life care. The care, kindness and support he received was second to none. As was the compassion and empathy shown to us as a family.
Every member of staff we met were friendly, from the reception to the kitchen staff and domestic team, to the
maintenance man. The Nurses and carers were all very attentive, caring and compassionate to us all. The attention to detail was lovely to see and meant a lot to us at a difficult time. They approached each interaction with kindness and sometimes humor, which helped us to keep things real.
I read the reviews prior to my father being admitted there, they were right about the standard of care, excellent!
A massive thank you to these wonderful people, who were only in our lives a short time, but will remain in our thoughts forever.

Love that the staff know me as I have had several respite visits over the past 3 years.
Always a warm welcome and nice room. The food is top class and the activities are well planned for time of year. Will stay again next year.

I was unhappy about my wife, Lesley, being admitted to a nursing home. Lesley, as an SRN, has worked in several, and I have been less than impressed with almost all aspects of most and so, it was with some serious doubt that I agreed to her moving to Chyvarhas. The first couple of weeks dispelled my
fears, she could not be in better hands! Also, on quite a number of occasions, I have been in a distressed state on leaving, and the staff have noticed and showered me with kindness and care. My thanks to them all, they are wonderful.

My experience was 2nd to none. My dad was only in Chyvarhas for a week until he passed away, but was made to feel cared for and very comfortable. The excellent nursing staff took great care of my sister and I while dad deteriorated and ultimately passed away. Would highly recommend.

My mother had 3 weeks of respite care during which time she experienced excellent care from all the staff who attended to her needs. She had regular, good meals cooked on site, a real change from her usual microwave portions. Her room was clean & tidy, and she was treated with the utmost dignity in
a secure & safe environment. Excellent value for money & highly recommend!

The staff at Chyvarhas could not do more for our son and other residents. From management, carers, kitchen staff and auxiliary they all deserve 5 stars.

My nan stayed with Chyvarhas for respite while we were renovating her bedroom. The room was presented beautifully and we had lots of options to personalise it while she was there. She said the best part of the room was the view from the window. She has been unable to go out to her garden for the
last few years and loved all the wildlife and plants she could see from her window. She was given the option to be taken out into the community, even though she did decline because of the weather. The staff were incredibly attentive and took great care of her and she appreciated staff taking the time to sit down and have a proper chat with her. She also said that they fed her very well and she had meals she hasn't been able to have in years.
When we took her home, we asked her what she thought. She said that "it was like a home away from home."

My experience of the home was good. I loved the attention to detail in the care and the food choices provided. I valued the big room and the view of the garden that was very important to me. The staff were generally very positive, up beat and friendly. I would stay again happily.

The staff are lovely, and my grandma seems to be having a good time here. I come and visit all the weekends I can, and I've noticed how helpful the staff are. They are lovely to visitors and residents and are always here to help.

This was the second time we have used Chyvarhas for respite care. The room is modern and spotlessly clean with all facilities in good working order and a lovely view of the garden. It only lost one mark due to not being ensuite which would have been preferable but understandable given the layout. A
commode was provided to mitigate this. The staff were all polite and courteous. They greeted our family member with genuine respect and warmth which was reassuring. The food smelt lovely and was apparently very nice.

A very caring home with total honesty and non-judgemental kindness to all the people. There is much joy and patience to all the people in this home regardless of their individual disabilities. It has a lovely atmosphere which is palpable as soon as you enter. This is a home that cares.

The review was excellent every thing was discussed and improvements that could be made and noted but these were only minor. Keep up the good work, all the staff are very caring.

I cannot thank and praise all members of the Chyvarus Residential and Nursing Home team enough. My father is on end of life care and the genuine care and attention given to him by EVERY member of staff here has been phenomenal. Not only do they care for him but for us as well. Time and care with
dignity and respect from each one of the nurses and care team. A truly wonderful group of people who have always looked after my father with kindness and personal consideration.
Management of the care home by staff in the home is great, I cannot comment on the company, but hope they truly appreciate how hard their staff work to give such personal, welcoming and caring support to residents and their families - what very long hours they put in always with full energy and encouragement for the residents and their visitors.

My wife was in the care home for about 2 months. The care she received was second to none. All the staff were there for her 24 hours a day. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff did their best to make my wife comfortable. There was never a day that she complained. The only real compliment I can
give this home is if I had to go into a care home, this is the one I would go into.

In the short time, my husband has been in Chyvarhas, I cannot speak highly enough about the care he is receiving. The home is spotlessly clean. The clients are kept spotless, and the food is just amazing. The carers and nurses are totally dedicated to their work. We are always kept informed of
everything to do with his care. From the management down, I cannot speak highly enough. After having bad experiences with care homes in the past with close friends and my own mother, Chyvarhas has restored my faith that there are still excellent homes if you are lucky and find one like this.

The staff are absolutely brilliant, kind, and caring to Dad and when he's fallen I'm informed well and feel happy with him in there, I simply cannot complain at all. 10/10.
