Coppelia House and staff are great. They care about their residents and have a personalised individual approach. They look after family as well as residents. The rooms and communal areas are clean and well decorated. I am very happy with Dad's care. Thank you.

New management from the latter half of 2025 has been a breath of fresh air and has brought new life to Coppelia House. There has been a marked improvement in many areas, from care standards and staff positivity to homely improvements around the building and also there is a clearer sense of community
amongst the residents. Keep up the good work!

As a friend to a resident (1 year) of Coppelia House I am very happy with the care Jean is receiving. Her personal care is excellent & her room clean, light & functional. I am always welcomed wth smiles & friendliness whenever I visit. The general atmosphere here is jolly, caring & gentle!

My father-in-law is currently residing at Coppelia and is thoroughly enjoying his experience. I have observed firsthand the excellent care provided by the staff and believe the current management is doing a commendable job in maintaining the home's efficient operation. The rooms are basic but remain
welcoming and the meals are varied and flavourful. All the residents appear to be happy and well cared for.

I have been visiting Coppelia House for approx 2 years and every time the staff have been very welcoming. They have always kept me up to date and their care giving is excellent. I would like to thank each and everyone for their dedication and commitment in providing great care.

On a daily basis the staff and manager at Coppelia House surpass my expectations, They have welcomed my parents with kindness, compassion and understanding. They have enabled my parents to stay together, allowing my father to continue to care for my mother with discrete support and more direct
help when needed. They have enabled his independence in a way that I never thought possible. He is enjoying discovering a new and welcoming community within walking distance of Coppelia House in the knowledge that my mother is well cared for in his absence.
The food and catering is outstanding with an excellent menu and my mother has started eating a little food again after months of refusing everything but soup.
I am always welcomed and able to discuss my parent's care. The care plan for my parents has ensured that both dental and medical needs have been met with speed and efficiency.
I can't fault the professionalism of the whole team and highly recommend them.

Overall I want to express gratitude, especially to the caregivers who do their best to create a calm, cheerful and safe ambience and undertake personal care with respect. Almost always they seem affectionate, kind, patient; they are usually capable, observant, supportive of each other and
appropriate in seeking help. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
The manager is accessible, friendly and has a sunny disposition which affects us all. Staff are helpful and competent if we ask for extra help. Coppelia seems welcoming, institutional and often cheerfully informal.
These aspects of my sister's care are really valued by all the family.

My aunt who has vascular dementia, moved into Coppelia House in July 2024. When we were first shown around we knew she would be well look after and happy there. It took her a few months to get settled but she is very happy there. The staff are always really friendly towards me and are proffessional
and kind to the residents. Coppelia House has always smelt clean and homely. My aunt is looking so much better since being resident there as she doesn't have anything to worry about. I would not hesitate to recommend Coppelia for anyone needing residential care.

My experience has been that the staff at Coppelia House are warm, friendly and place the wellbeing of the residents at the heart of all they do. Every member of the team is approachable, kind and supportive even when at their most busy. What stands out from spending time at Coppelia is the respect
that is shown to each resident by the staff.
Mum has been treated with understanding, dignity and compassion throughout her time at Coppelia and her personal needs and interests have been accommodated by staff going above and beyond to ensure she is still able to pursue her passions and allowing her personality to shine. She feels loved, valued and safe.
Staff are always ready with a smile or a reassuring word and that support extends not only to residents but also to visiting family members, who are made to feel welcome at all times, making everyone feel included and at ease.

Coppelia was our second home with Mum! She was happy, extremely well cared for, and felt loved there. The staff are amazing, so committed to their residents, and really become a part of their family. Access to discuss Mum's needs was immediate and we were kept in touch with all the time. We visited
nearly every day and being able to fit visits in at most hours of the day helped us continue a very involved relationship with Mum.

I take great pleasure in recommending all at Coppelia House, over the last few months my father resided there. I was always made to feel very welcome and highly informed with information on my father's well-being. The care was 100%. I even had the pleasure of sampling the delightful homecooked food
that Dad took a lot of pleasure eating and enjoying the wonderful gardens, chatting to the wonderful staff. I can't recommend the home and staff anymore and so pleased we moved him there until his last days. Keep up the great work, I'm sure you all will.

Mum came to Coppelia House in April 2023 for respite care after a fall in her flat. She quickly decided she would like to stay as she felt safe and comfortable in her own room with friendly and supportive staff. Her visitors were always welcomed by the staff, and we enjoyed sitting out together in
the sunny garden. Mum received excellent palliative care in the home as she neared the end of her long life and we were kept well informed of her condition. Thank you to all the staff at Coppelia House for looking after Mum in such a caring, respectful way.

The home was extremely helpful and quick at getting Mum in, as both parents became ill at the same time.
Mum settled in very well and the staff were very welcoming and caring.
My mum has dementia and her biggest problem was understanding the foreign workers. We have moved Mum to be with her
husband of sixty-seven years, as this wasn’t the place for my father to stay.

My father and us, his family, are extremely fortunate to have a care home of such a high calibre on our doorstep. He needed 24/7 care and he got it, he was well fed and kept clean, (his words) The staff were/are very obliging and do everything in their power to make the whole situation as homely and
pleasant as possible. Our particular situation was difficult and became more acute over time, the staff true to form were understanding and accommodating to which we are very grateful. Thank you.

Ma was here for 5 years. She was always treated with much love, respect and humility. She felt safe and secure at Coppelia House. Throughout Covid and after there was always emphasis on the happiness of the folks in care. For me, it's been a real comfort that Ma was here being looked after.

Mum spent a month at Coppelia House to recover following major surgery. We cannot fault the care Mum received - the staff were all friendly, good-humoured and extremely professional, especially when helping Mum get used to coping with the stoma she had following surgery. Nothing was too much
trouble. Also, Mum said the quality and variety of the meals were exceptional.

husband of sixty-seven years, as this wasn’t the place for my father to stay.
