Amazing staff, the staff really do make the home what it is. Great teamwork and so friendly but also empathetic and understanding. Ever since my mum came here for rehabilitation in October she has been so well looked after and the care reaches expectations. There is so much choice for mum here and
her wishes are always met. The food choice is great. Mum is always happy with what she has for variety and my little boy loves having a snack from the snack table every time he visits. Management has always been extremely supportive with information regarding mum and have helped me through a tough time. The home is always clean and tidy amd there is always staff around for anything mum needs. I would definitely recommend Croft Lodge to anyone wanting a safe and supportive home for their family.

Staff have always been amazing, have made my mother feel very safe and comfortable at Croft Lodge. In hr last few months staff continued to deliver excellent care and compassion right to the end.

My friend has been at Croft lodge for 3 years and in spite of having dementia she feels safe and cared for. When I visit I see such genuine care for the residents. Not just my friend I see the staff putting themselves out to meet the needs or wants of all the residents. They treat them with care
kindness and respect but have a bit of banter when appropriate. The staff know their residents well. They give residents choices and respect their decisions. If I need care I'd be happy to be placed here. I've seen other care homes that charge as much or more but the care and loving atmosphere isn't there.
This may sound OTT but ita genuinely how I feel and as I can't always get to see my friend as much as I would like I am assured she is well and safe. Thank you to the whole team.

The care mum received at Croft Lodge in the final four months of her life was exceptional. Her increasing needs were met promptly and efficiently as her condition deteriorated. The staff were immediately kind to both Mum and our family and treated mum with all the love and dignity we could have
hoped for.

MY AUNT HAS BEEN A RESIDENT FOR AFEW YEARS NOW AND SHE LOVES IT THERE. WHEN WAS LOOKING FOR A CARE HOME FOR HER I IMMEDIATELY FELT AT HOME AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AMAZING. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE. THE STAFF ARE LOVELY, CARING, AND TREAT ALL THERE RESIDENCE WITH LOVE, CARE AND RESPECT,
JUST AS IF THEY ARE THERE OWN FAMILY. MY AUNT HAD HER 100TH BIRTHDAY IN AUGUST, AND SHARON AND HER TEAM PUT ON A GREAT DO FOR HER, AND ALL HER FAMILY WHO MANAGED TO ATTEND WERE VERY WELCOME.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CROFT LODGE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CARE HOME FOR THEIR RELATIVE AND FRIENDS.

My Great Aunt has been a resident here for nearly 3 years. From day one the manager and her team treated her with kindness, respect and such compassion that she settled so quickly. The family is kept informed of all health and wellbeing updates. The home is warm and welcoming with bright and airy
spaces for the residents to enjoy.
My Aunt celebrated her 100th birthday on 18 August 2025 and a party with a singer and food was supplied for us all and it was a lovely afternoon.
I highly recommend Croft Lodge.

My Mother has been a resident at Croft Lodge for over 5 years now. As a family my brothers and I remain extremely happy with the care, and continuing support received from the manager and her experienced team members. Mum has a lovely sunny room with a view which she enjoys, her local friends are
able to visit and she particularly enjoys Chef's delicious home cooked meals. My Mum has complex medical needs all of which are dealt with in a professional manner, as a family we work closely with the manager and her team to ensure we are all collectively pulling together for Mum in her later years. I have no hesitation in recommending Croft Lodge.

A relaxed, warm, welcoming atmosphere every time I have visited Croft Lodge. My dad refers to the staff as his family and the place feels like home. I live abroad and can sometimes feel so far away, but knowing that he is safe, secure and happy in this environment means that I do not have to worry.
The staff are lovely and it's clear they are passionate about giving quality care that is unique to each resident. I feel like part of the family also! Thank you.

I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the lovely staff at Croft Lodge, my mother, who passed away last month, hadn't been with you long and despite her previous experience with a care home, she was very happy with you!
Words cannot describe the love and care she received -
it was second to none - and I really appreciate all you did to make the end of her days as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

My mother, age 93, moved to Croft Lodge in July 2024 after our family discovered that she had been physically assaulted - repeatedly - by patients in another (and far more expensive) Alzheimer's unit in the area. During our hasty search of available places nearby we discovered Croft Lodge and were
immediately struck by the contented attitudes of the residents and the warm and friendly staff.
Sadly Mum passed away in September after only three months at Croft Lodge, but her final weeks were made pleasant by the caring staff who monitored her closely at all times. She actually enjoyed being taken care of here. The difference in standards between Croft Lodge and her former care home was like night and day, or perhaps I should say like daylight after a long black night.
Thank you to all the staff for making a difference in my mother's last weeks.

The overall care was excellent and the staff were always extremely helpful and very supportive. When I visited, I was always welcomed. The standard of the accomodation was very good, especially the bedroom. I am very grateful to the management for helping my partner to regain her health and to
enable her to return home after a stay of fourteen weeks. Well done everyone!

During my Mothers's time at Coft Lodge, she always mentions how lovely the staff are when I visit. This is something I have seen firsthand myself with the activities in which they get all the residents involved. The encouragement from staff with these activities has meant that my Mother has made
friends with several other residents quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Croft Lodge to anyone whose loved ones may need care.

It is a difficult decision when the time comes to choose a residential home for a loved one but from the moment we walked into Croft Lodge, we knew our mum would be happy there. Sadly, due to Dementia and age, we knew this would be Mum's last home.
We would like to thank everyone at Croft Lodge,
for the care, dignity and respect bestowed upon our mum, and her family. This was especially appreciated towards and during her final weeks.

Having arrived in a very poor state with acute sciatica they soon got me getting better and eating again. I was sorry to leave them but they had done their job and I am able to cope for myself now. Mattresses could be better.

Post-hospital stay, my stepmother received appropriate care and support to improve her health and mobility to return home. Team seemed very caring and professional with a personal approach and offered support and advice post-stay. My stepmother certainly thrived in their care.

Croft Lodge is an excellent care home providing a friendly and caring environment for those who can no longer live in their own homes.
All staff participate in direct care of those living here whether carers or management and the chefs; all speak with the residents on a regular basis ensuring that
they feel respected as individuals.

From the first moment my sister-in-law moved into Croft Lodge Care Home she was treated with respect and, most of all, made to feel at home. Even as much as putting shelves up to take all of her precious items also making it her home. The staff are all very attentive and caring. Overall, we could
not have found a better home for all my sister-in-law's needs. Also, may I say the food is all home-cooked and very tasty and they meet all her needs with very soft foods and find the time to feed her.

My mum has been living at Croft Lodge since July 2022 and she is very happy there. The care staff are exceptionally caring, it seems more than a job for some of them, who seem to have real affection and care for my mum. Honestly, I wish my mum could have more exercise and activity but I think there
isn’t enough time for that these days. The food always looks excellent with lovely home-cooked meals, individualised to residents’ needs, for instance, my mum’s weight needs building up, so they add high-calorie ingredients to her meals. The staff know her well and respect her opinions and dignity. I would definitely recommend Croft Lodge, based purely on how happy and calm my mum is there, and that is down to the excellent staff team.
