Mum has been at PH a year now. She trusts us fully to help her with decision making as she has dementia but knows we have her care and comfort uppermost in our priorities.
From the second I walked in for a show around I felt sure this was the place for mum. It's such a hard decision to make but
mum has been settled right from the start. She has a lovely relationship with the staff and they embrace her fun banter. She is treated with respect, kindness and dignity.
Mum has a lot of care needs and is becoming quite frail.
Mums room is in the old part of the building so a little dated but it is kept warm and always clean. As she says, for her, it's about the people.
She is recovering from a chest infection so been sleepy this week. I live away from Plymouth so visit for a week at a time. Always sad to leave. A kind "peace of mind"call from one of the lead carers as I left on the train today from Vicky to say mum was perky and had a good breakfast. Above and beyond. Thank you team PH x

Mum has been in Plymbridge House for two years now as a permanent resident. I know it was hard for her to give up independent living but I know she is being well cared for. The home is a very welcoming place and the first thing I notice every time I visit is how friendly and cheerful all the staff
are.

My mother has been a resident of this home for aproimatly 9 months. She suffers from blindness and dementia. She can sometimes be very difficult and confused.
In my opinion the care she has received has been exemplary, the staff all deserve medals.
When visiting the staff are caring polite,
friendly and professional. Showing nothing but care and patience with their residents.
The activities are made to be fun and all inclusive, and they go out of their way to make the residents happy, praising them when they do well, and generally making them feel wanted.
Choosing a home can be a very difficult experience for both your relative and yourself, we as a family found the process emotional but eased by the way we and mum were and still are treated from the start. Great job guys.
A little bit more expensive than some but in our opinion well worth the money for the experiences that we and mum have had, at what is a very difficult time of life to come to terms with.

I wanted to write a further review for my dad, who lived at Plymbridge House, his home from home for the past 18 months, until he sadly passed last month. The end of life care the dedicated staff at Plymbridge gave to my dear dad was absolutely exceptional. He was tended to gently, and
professionally by all the wonderful carers who ensured his final days were pain free, dignified, and comfortable. We were able to be with dad freely, with no restrictions of time, and they also provided support to us as a family. We feel incredibly grateful that dad was in their kind care. If you are reading this review and contemplating your own, or a relatives move into Plymbridge, then I do not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Plymbridge, you are all angels.
