View Full Details of RichmondwoodMy Aunt has been very well cared for at The Richmondwood Care home. She has been there for many years. Her room is always warm. She is always clean and tidy. Well fed and plenty of drinks offered keeping her hydrated. I am kept well informed. Staff are always extremely friendly when I visit my Aunt. I would recommend this place to anyone. I would certainly consider it for mum when the time comes for her care needs.
My mother has been living at Richmond wood Care Home in Queens Park Bournemouth for over 2 years . She is very happy there and her care has been excellent. She has Alzheimer's and is frail and the home have been very responsive to her needs. The staff always alert me if they have any concerns and are quick to get medical help for her when needed. They have a great team of care workers who are very kind, caring and hard working but are also good fun . The monthly calendar of events for the residents are always good and the team go out of their way to include everyone. The physical environment of the home is well looked after as well, you can see that everyone takes great pride in their work. My mum always seems happy and is doing well thanks to their care.
Visited mum this weekend and had a lovely time with her at the care home , everyone was friendly and there was a loving caring atmosphere at all times . Stayed for a delicious lunch with mum and they laid the table for us beautifully, we even had swan shape serviettes !! They couldn't do enough for us . Whilst having my meal I noticed how the staff treated the residents with kindness and respect .. it brought a tear to my eye to witness such humanity . Thankyou Richmondwood House .
I visit this person at least once a week. When I see him, he is always clean and well-kept. The staff do everything for him. Lovely food and such a warm atmosphere, he seems to be very happy there. 5-star treatment.
I am very happy I am here.
My husband has dementia. It was taken out of my hands that he went into a care home and I am so pleased he is in this one. It is such a lovely place and the staff are just wonderful, very caring, friendly and happy, nothing is too much trouble.
My family friend feels safe and his needs are always met. He gets the best experience and feels valued. The staff are amazing and professional. Thank you Richmondwood for putting a smile on resident's faces. Keep up with the good work.
Amazing care home filled with love and care. The staff are wonderful and take such good care of every single resident each day. The activities are very inclusive and allow excitement and fun for the residents.
My dad was fast tracked by the hospital for palliative care. The NHS/Social services team couldn't find anywhere suitable and, thank goodness I found Richmondwood. From the first phone call to the last visit, we felt so supported by the staff. The care my Dad got was exemplary, and the relationships he and the staff formed gave us such peace of mind. It was a tough seven months and I can't imagine having done it without the support of the care team. A care team is the best description I could give from the manager to the cleaner, everyone plays their part and we felt part of the Richmondwood family. Their social media page shows the range of amazing activities that are on offer for all abilities.
I can only praise this establishment. Administrative efficiency. Prompt and sympathetic response to queries and needs. Staff warm, friendly and sincere in their care and involvement. Since my father has been at Richmondwood I am persuaded that the atmosphere of homeliness and security has served to improve his wellbeing. Although he is unable to benefit or take part in the activities proposed I have seen what is programmed and find them varied and interesting.
I was so impressed with the overall care my neighbour received. Nothing was too much trouble, such friendly staff. Wonderful surroundings, garden, rooms, view from the room window. Very clean and made visitors very welcome too. Highly recommend.
Be rest assured of excellent service, state of the art facilities, and well trained staff at Richmondwood. A stickler for Covid-19 policies, proper hygiene and CQC compliance. Truly a topnotch rest home that stands out from the crowd.
Superb standard of compassionate care. This home feels like a home. Yesterday was Tuesday at the proms day, the residents watched the proms together, sang along, laughed at Norman Wisdom falling into a box together all whilst enjoying light refreshments and the company of the marvellous in-house entertainment coordinator. They were all so happy.
My father is staying at Richmondwood for four weeks respite and absolutely loves the staff and the home. The whole team is so friendly, kind and always very helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The new manager and the home's owners are very friendly, kind and always willing to help with anything. The food is nice and the gardens are simply beautiful. My dad speaks very highly of Richmondwood care home and we will be recommending it to family and friends!
I visit my friend at Richmondwood once a week. He is extremely well looked after and cared for by an excellent team. There are excellent daily activities to keep residents stimulated. The food is very good and the new manager is very helpful. My friend really enjoys living at Richmondwood Care Home.
A lovely person-centred residential home that emphasises the importance of family and good quality of care. Friendly and kind staff and management. Homely environment and beautiful garden. A home from home!
Having seen inside many nursing homes across the UK I think the care and compassion, combined with consideration makes Richmondwood exemplary. We were lucky that my mother had the opportunity to receive their care in the short time she had. Well done and thank you.
My father has been a resident at Richmondwood for a few years and considers it to be his home from home. He is so happy, the staff are wonderful, and the food is all freshly prepared every day to provide him with a really healthy and varied diet. The home is always spotless, and the recent refurbishments have been made with the residents' comfort in mind. There are activities most days of some kind, and certainly, my father looks forward to them very much! His favourite room is the conservatory and I usually sit there with him when I visit. I would highly recommend Richmondwood to anyone looking for a homely and relaxed atmosphere, as well as good care and surroundings, for their relative or friend.
Lovely and homely. My mother stayed there in respite from the hospital for 5 months. All the staff were very kind and understanding and helped my mother recover enough to be able to go back to her own home. Almost every day there were activities. Meals were homemade. The staff and the management were very accommodating.
My 88-year-old mum stayed at Richmondwood for one week while building works were going on at home. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were professional and incredibly friendly. They made her very welcome and looked after her so well. She compared it to being on holiday!
