Although my father with his dementia was reluctant to go in he seemed to settle quickly. His overall health has improved and I am happy that he is now physically safe. His hygiene has improved. The staff quickly recognised when he was not himself and had a nurse assistant review him who diagnosed an
acute illness and prescribed treatment.

Mum moved into Elizabeth House in January for respite care, but she loves it so much she would now like to stay permanently. The change in her has been transformational - she is happier than we have seen her in a long time and has really come out of herself.
When she was living alone, she was
lonely, depressed, and often confused. Since moving into Elizabeth House, she has completely flourished. The staff have been absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and most importantly, Mum is very happy there.

Mum has been at Elizabeth House since October 2024 . The staff engage with her well which is really important to us as she has always enjoyed talking and having conversations. The home is always clean and everyone so happy and friendly. Jaime is a great asset as a carer as are all the staff that
look after my mum. This is a great care home and I would highly recommend it.

I had a meeting with 2 lovely members of the team today to go through my aunties care plan and finance . Elizabeth house is such a lovely home with nice atmosphere with friendly staff and always so informative and helpful with answering my questions.
I would definitely recommend to friends or
colleagues.

I have been visiting a friend in this care home for 20 months, I came to view it before he arrived. Was given a really warm welcome. He settled in really well and loves it here as do I. I would recommend Elizabeth House to anyone. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

I have found mothers care to be nothing but excellent she is treated with dignity and respect at all times. The staff are sunny and bright and know exactly what and when mother needs help, I can honestly say that to mum this is her home and if she has remained in her flat I would no longer have her
with me but thanks to the care given to her at Elizabeth House she is happy and contented and well cared for. They inform me immediately of any problems so my mind is at rest that I have done what is best for my mother in placing her here.

Although Bob has been in your care for less than a month, the positive changes in his attitude and behaviour are astonishing. His move to Elizabeth House was his third in just over two years, but he is more settled since he came to live with you than at any other time since going into care.
The
whole atmosphere at Elizabeth House is warm, caring and friendly, and the staff, without exception, seem to know just how to handle Bob in any situation, with the result that he seems happy again.

Mum has been at Elizabeth House since August 2024. She has definitely improved since this time and appear content. The staff engage with her well which is really important to us as she has always enjoyed talking and having community around her.
The care and effort which went into making her
birthday special were above and beyond.

My mother has been a resident of Elizabeth House since August 2024. I have been delighted with the care she has received over the period. Due to the kindness of the management and staff she is thriving.

My mother was put into this care home by the social services as she did not have the funds to pay the fees.
I was worried that she would be put into a care home that did not have her care and support as a priority.
I should not have worried. Elizabeth House has been wonderful and I am very
grateful for the care and support that they give my mother. Have recently had a care review with the deputy manager and they are covering her needs exceptionally well, as she does have medical difficulties. I cannot fault the way that her care is being managed and the way I am always informed of her treatments.
Although she has dementia and cannot fully understand the various activities, the entertainment staff are committed to giving the residents every opportunity of having fun and socialising.

The staff at Elizabeth House have been wonderful. They have taken very good care of my grandmother. They were always friendly and kind. The activities were really good and well organised; they were varied and fun. The facilities are good and well used. We liked the various social spaces (lounges,
conservatory and dining room) as this meant a good choice of rooms to relax in and socialise. We are very thankful for the care they have provided her.

We chose this home because of the warm welcome and the pledge to meet our mother-in-law's needs. The management has an open-door policy and any concerns are efficiently dealt with. The cares are fully aware of the resident's needs and do try to respond as quickly as they are able. It is a busy home
with an energetic activities team always making sure the residents have something going on to stimulate or entertain themselves and even take them out on trips. As a family we are welcomed any time and encouraged to join in events and trips out. Care South do a lot to raise money for other charities. It is a happy home where the staff really do care for their residents.

I am really happy with Elizabeth House including all staff. The residents are treated with respect, and kindness and my family member is brilliantly cared for with such kindness and respect. It’s so lovely to know my relative. Is being cared for and kept safe.

I cannot possibly thank all the care team for all the support and round-the-clock care/love/time they have given my grandad especially with all his day-to-day requirements, as I have always been so close to him, so it's always one less worry knowing he's got everything he needs when we are not on
site. My grandad could not ask for a better group of staff.
