I enjoy my visits to Southlawns. I find the staff friendly and welcoming. My brother has required patience and reassurance during his settling-in weeks, and is visibly more relaxed and confident as the weeks go by. Thank you.

All the staff are kind, thoughtful and respectful. They greet her by name. Administration process was as straight forward as possible. She enjoys activities and likes something to be going on around her.

I have experienced nearly two months of care to my husband in Southlawns. I have seen a big improvement in health and wellbeing, and excellent, friendly care throughout. He has settled in well and is happy with all services provided. Previously, he was not eating well and losing weight. The regular good food here has helped him put on weight. The staff are lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere throughout the home is great. I enjoy the experience on every visit. I'm very happy with the service.

Mum has been a resident in Southlawns for over 9 years. Her care needs are changing due to her age and decline in health. Staff have been brilliant at adapting to her needs. Staff and management are very supportive of the family and always find time to discuss any worries or queries we may have.

After a very reluctant and hesitant start to my mother's care and stay at Southlawns she has settled in superbly. This is testimony to all the staff and care provided by the entire team. They are all caring and attentive to each resident and their individual needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southlawns and the facilities and care they provide.

The service at Southlawns is second to none. The staff are attentive and a pleasure to work with. The care provided is excellent, meals are very good and rooms are kept clean. I have every reason to recommend the care that they offer and would be happy to use them again should the need arise.

I go to Southlawns twice a week for day care. The staff are very friendly and welcome me at the door. The food is lovely, there is always plenty of choice. The home is clean and tidy. They provide a good range of activities and seeing the rabbit, birds and dogs is wonderful.

Always made to feel welcome when visiting my mother. There are plenty of activities every day. The garden in the summer is a joy and very well kept. Overall the home is excellent and I can relax knowing she is in safe hands.

Grandma has been a new resident since mid-June. The information and support provided to arrange a place was excellent with an unannounced tour, lots of information and guidance and general conversation to ensure Grandma was settling. Grandma has settled extremely well, down solely I am sure to the wonderful care and carers. Everyone is so nice, smiley and nothing is too much trouble with a coffee way arranged for the family for Grandma's birthday being an example. Communiocation and advocating for Grandma with health services has been great. I have felt Grandma is safe, cared for and I can relax. Thank you.

Ever since my mum has been living here she has been treated with dignity and respect. She has a lovely room and enjoys the interactions she has with the staff. She feels safe and looked after.

Most of the staff are patient and understanding of my father's condition and problems, one or two (he tells me) need to allow more time to deal with him. It would be nice if the 'call button' had a quicker response from staff.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a special cream tea at Southlawns, where residents can invite friends and family members to join them for an individual cream tea in the garden. It was a lovely experience. The home provided a top-rate cream tea, with sandwiches, scones and cake and every effort was made to make us feel pampered and special. Thank you, and well done, Southlawns!

I came to have afternoon tea with a family friend this afternoon, and it was absolutely lovely with a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones, plus tea or coffee. The tables had been set up outside and beautifully decorated. Both my friend and the ladies on the next table were all wearing summer hats, and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly, as always. I have visited my friend here on a number of occasions and am always impressed by the standard of care and how well-turned out she always is, with spotlessly clean clothes and tidy hair, etc. She is always at great pains to tell me how well looked after she is, which must give her family tremendous peace of mind.

We were invited to a cream/afternoon tea at Southlawns. My mother-in-law's grandaughter and myself had a lovely afternoon. The support for all was really good, and you could tell by the faces of all the people they were having a great time. Thank you to all that helped with the afternoon.

Thank you to all involved with planning and putting on the tea at Southlawns this afternoon. What a very special thing to do! The welcome was wonderful, the food was delicious, and it was lovely to have as much time as we wanted to relax and chat. We were treated to a turn around the garden to admire the vegetables, flowers and hanging baskets which looked fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff members helping us.

Just spent two hours at Southlawns, visiting my grandmother. Went with my two children and mum to the gardening club. What a fab time we all had. My son helped with the potatoes and tomato harvest. Had tea and biscuits, and one lady couldn't do enough for us. Lovely to see all the generations together.
