Although my husband was at Bemerton Lodge for just a week for restbite, he was very happy and settled in very quickly. The staff treated him with respect and he enjoyed his meals. He has requested to go back when he will need another week of restbite, he felt completely at home there.

Over the last 3 years, the team at Bemerton Lodge, Salisbury have shown huge kindness and care for Patricia, who suffers from advanced dementia. Rebecca and her team are unfailingly cheerful and caring, always making us feel welcome and going out of their way to make her comfortable. She always
smiles at her carers and is clearly adored in return. On the rare occasions where there have been minor issues or need to update us on medical matters, they have been prompt to do so. We thank our lucky starts to have found Bemerton Lodge, where we know that Patricia is safe, happy and loved.

I recently visited Bemerton lodge to see my father. I am a wheelchair user and the staff put my dad in a wheelchair and brought him to a downstairs lounge in order for us to the all be comfortable and have more room for our visit.
The staff were friendly and diligent and explained to my daughter
(15) how to call for a staff member if my dad needed anything. We were all offered refreshments so I was happy that the staff are looking after himm!

good service ,my mother seems happy there and she says the food is ok too,always seems to be doing activities and enjoys the company of others,the staff are good and look after her well ,staff are always helpful to us as well,as we live abroad and can only communicate via the phone

In my view, Bemerton Lodge is a very special place. My father is well cared for and has formed strong relationships with the carers at the home. He is encouraged to participate in varied activities and the home goes out of its way to ensure that his interests are catered for. The home is always well
staffed and clean when I visit and Dad seems happy.

There is always something going on and the staff are lovely.
I'd highly recommend.
Staff take time to create a real bond with the residents.
The office always sort out any issues you might have.

My mother always seems well looked after and the staff are very caring towards her. She is almost completely blind and deaf but everyone is so patient with her and I know she appreciates this.
Communication is always good and I am always kept up to date should my mother have any setbacks

We went to look at the home and it had all the right feeling / vibe . One of the staff showed us around was great . Mum has been in there now 3 weeks and is doing more now than she has done in last ten years and looks happy and glowing and says she feels safe .
The people are always friendly and

Mum has been looked after with love, care and consideration. The staff are amazing taking the time to make sure mum's opinions and washes are taken into consideration and her interests are encouraged. Everyone is friendly, happy to chat and information is updated regularly, lots of activities
happening each week and mum is encouraged to take part.

Since my mum moved into the home, the staff have gone out of their way to get to know her and make sure she is happy and safe.
They encourage her to continue doing the things she loves, which is being helpful. They spend time with her and give her the chance to get out and help with the gardening,
which means so much to her. The home has a lovely atmosphere and all the staff go above and beyond to make sure their residents are happy and cared for! I'd definitely recommend Bemerton Lodge to everyone.

Good response from management on admission, fast with minimum fuss. Very considerate of resident-to-be.
Very helpful with admin contracts etc.
Staff are very helpful and positive at all times with residents and relatives/visitors.

The way my father-in-law was admitted quickly with minimum fuss was excellent. He is very well looked after. He always looks clean and well-presented. All the staff I have met have been lovely with my father-in-law and me. They seem to go out of their way to make the residents feel valued and loved.
There is always an activity going on and he even went out for a walk last weekend. Excellent all round.

After a quick 'take a look' visit, our father didn't want to leave and has stayed at Bemerton Lodge since.
This from a stubborn, independent and well focused man who has always struggled to feel included with others. He immediately felt settled, taken care of and above all else safe and secure.
Visiting him is always made easy by the marvelous, welcoming and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble, questions answered and the delight in father's face on seeing them, you just are so reassured he's in the best place.
The lodge is spotlessly clean and fresh in his room, the activities, TV and dining rooms. Three meals a day mixing with other residents, arts and crafts all with the security of his safety at night.

My mother has been in the home for nearly six months now and has finally settled into her new life there. She participates in many of the daily activities that are created and appears to be engaging fully with the staff and care nurses. The staff are always on hand and supportive to all in the home.
They also look after visitors and discuss any issues with the relevant family members, keeping them informed of any problems promptly.

I am a volunteer at Bemerton Lodge. I have seen over the past months how amazing all the staff are with the resident. Every staff member knows the name of each resident, knows their preferred tea or coffee, joining activities or just watch, who likes 4 bingo cards and who needs a little help. If a
resident is sitting alone, I have seen a staff member just go sit the table quietly. They know who likes to a read a newspaper and who likes to do a puzzle. Everyone is treated beautifully

Not at all what I expected!
It is a whole new way of life, very caring and professional, happy, lively, a lovely place to be where one feels very secure. Nothing is too much trouble and all the staff have a very positive, patient and loving approach to whatever situation they are confronted with.
There is always plenty of company around which is very important.

I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I found the meal selection very good also.

The manager and team communicate well and often go the 'extra mile'.
The environment appears fresh and clean.
A resident hairdresser would be great - staff are very obliging when they have time. Some lighter chairs would be good to carry to rooms for visitors.
