Very attentive and always there to help with my grandparents no matter the issue. There also very smiley and say hello whenever I visit.

When visiting with our dog we were welcomed by staff and a manager. Helped with negotiating entry/exit doors and our dog was introduced to other residents! As always, a very welcoming, homely atmosphere. Our relatives both very well cared for. The daily activities and the outings particularly good for one of them. Please keep doing what you are doing. Thank you.

Beautiful location with stunning gardens. The staff are so respectful, polite and friendly. The room is clean and personalised. Food is beautifully cooked and presented. Social activities are fun and not complicated. Safety is well thought through.

Somerhill is an excellent care home. The home itself is light and bright, the large expanse of garden is absolutely beautiful and the countryside view is stunning. Most importantly the staff and managers are excellent, the interaction from carers to the residents is commendable. I have seen such kindness and the staff are happy and caring. My mother is happy and well cared for which makes me happy.

My aunt has been at Somerhill Care Home for 3 very happy years. Recent;y new flooring throughout has been completed and gives a lovely new clean & crisp finish. Staff are exceptional all so caring and never with out a smile. Food is a big thing with most people & here it is the best.

My sisters and I are very happy to have our father so well looked after. Whenever I have visited, there is a welcoming feeling. Staff are kind and friendly. The food always smells delicious and I know that there are no complaints from our father. There is always something happening in the lounge which I know our father enjoys. The nursing care is competent and caring. The home is clean and fresh, as is his room. The grounds surrounding the home are beautiful which complements the view perfectly. Overall we are very satisfied with his care.

My Dad is happy at this care home, he is treated kindly and with respect by the staff, who are without exception caring and friendly individuals.The home is clean and well maintained. The management is excellent and responsive. The food is well cooked and presented.The gardens are beautiful with accessible winding pathways and plenty of seating.

My father is so well cared for at Somerhill. The staff are always so kind, caring and welcoming and treat the residents with dignity and respect. There is always something going on and the food is freshly prepared every day. The views are amazing and it is bright, fresh and immaculate.

My grandad has been in Somerhill for almost 18 months now. The staff are warm, friendly and exceptionally kind. The facilities are accessible, bright and homely. The kitchen always smells delicious. The garden in particular is so beautifully maintained and a lovely place to spend time together - particularly with active little ones visiting as well. Would highly recommend it.

My mother has been part of the Somerhill community for almost a year and she has been beautifully looked after within this warm and caring environment. The staff are wonderfully kind and friendly, and there is a relaxed and positive atmosphere throughout. Mum loves her room with a view of the garden and the well kept gardens are a delight for visiting family members too. Somerhill definitely gets 5 stars from us!

Staff friendly. Facilities amazing. The impression and feel of the place is very positive and friendly. Nursing staff excellent and very communicative. Excellent activities mother-in-law has dementia and is benefiting from the social contact. The manager is an absolute star. 5 stars from me!

Only positive things to say about Somerhill and the amazing, caring staff that work there. They looked after my mother for over two years until she recently passed away and she (and her family) were treated with the utmost kindness at all times.

My father has been at Somerhill for five months and is grateful for the kindness and care shown by staff. As demonstrated recently when he has been ill and required bed rest to enable him to recover. When I approached the Manager and Clinical lead nurse regarding planning a way forward by introduction of time sitting out in his chair, they were very co-operative and began to rearrange the room that day accordingly. The carers worked so well together, preparing my father to be hoisted, making him comfortable and safe. I know how grateful he is to be making the first steps to recovery after being so unwell. I really appreciate that in raising a concern, it was dealt with immediately. The staff will continue to assess how well my father adapts to the new routine. At Christmas, my father and I enjoyed Christmas dinner together with other residents, which made a special occasion for us all

Overall experience was very good. All staff showed a caring attitude and willingness to help both patients and visitors. All the residents appeared happy and content.

The staff are exceptionally caring, kind, and helpful, both to my Mother and my Brother and I. The manager and clinical manager are always supportive and willing to listen to any concerns or queries and will always try to sort out anything we raise promptly. We are very happy that our Mother is so well settled and cared for.

My mum received excellent end-of-life care at Somerhill Care Home. She was in the gentle hands of the nursing and caring staff who were kind, attentive and professional at all times. The manager was very welcoming, easy to communicate with and genuinely caring. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The setting and grounds are stunning. Thank you to the Somerhill Care Home team for the compassionate and professional care you provided for my mum.

My father was in Somerhill, little Somerford for just over 3 weeks at the end of his life. The care he was given by everybody from the laundry ladies, nurses, care staff and the manager was superb. It made the situation so much easier for me to deal with. The staff were so very kind when he passed away so quickly and I will always remember and be so thankful for every moment of his time spent in the care of Somerhill. Many thanks to you all the wonderful staff.

My aunt is looked after by absolutely lovely caring staff who are always amazingly kind and patient. The atmosphere in the home is lovely and welcoming. When my aunt arrived she was underweight and stressed and anxious and in the months since she has been with you she has really blossomed and seems so much better. I am so grateful. You really all do a brilliant job! Thank you.
